Eagles | Nelson Agholor unlikely back on current deal
Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor likely will not play at his current cap number of $9.387 million in 2019, according to beat writer Jeff McLane. The team picked up his fifth-year option last year, but it's likely they'll re-work his contract or release him. McLane adds that the team could try to trade him, but his salary will probably scare off teams.

Eagles | Nate Sudfeld to compete for backup job
Philadelphia Eagles QB Nate Sudfeld will have 'to compete for (the backup) spot', even with QB Nick Foles out of the picture, head coach Doug Pederson indicated. That means the Eagles are likely to bring in a veteran to challenge Sudfeld for the backup job behind QB Carson Wentz. Sudfeld is a restricted free agent and the team has until March 13 to tender him a qualifying offer.
