Health update:
I was admitted into a hospital on Friday afternoon, Dec 7, for preventative care and it turned into prevent death care. The Infectious Disease doctor gave me an antibiotic i was known to have a severe reaction to. She shared the IV line with another drug that was supposed to temper the side effects. Instead, i still got the severe reaction except this time it got worse. I went into anaphylactic shock and lost consciousness. When the nurses got to me i had no heartbeat and no blood pressure. When i came to i was medically paralyzed, fed a tube (C-PAP), and being carted into a direct observation ICU room. 10 hours of suffering ensues; the breathing apparatus actually made it harder to breath as i laid there for hours unable to communicate my discomfort. I was discharged on Thursday afternoon, Dec 13. All is well.
