NFL Player News - Week 15

    Courtesy of Footballguys.com

KC - WR Tyreek Hill expected to play

    Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (foot) is expected to play against the Los Angeles Chargers this week, according to head coach Andy Reid.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll feel better about his status if he can get a limited practice in on Wednesday. Hill played with the injury on Sunday against the Ravens and he praised the staff for taping his foot up effectively. They should limit him this week with the plan of having him ready on Thursday night. Stay tuned.

NYG - WR Odell Beckham Jr. feeling better

Source: New York Post - Paul Schwartz

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (quad) told reporters he 'felt a lot better' Monday, Dec. 10, as he continues his recovery from a bruised quad that kept him out Week 14 against the Washington Redskins.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Giants coach Pat Shurmur had some positive comments about Beckham's status but he did not say whether or not the superstar receiver would play in Week 15. The Giants play the Titans this week and the early signs are good for Beckham's availability. We'll know more about his status on Wednesday.

SF - RB Matt Breida to be reevaluated

Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco

San Francisco 49ers RB Matt Breida (ankle) will be reevaluated Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll know more about his status after that reevaluation is done. He's been playing hurt most of the year but has had to miss some time with this ankle problem. If healthy-ish and playing, Breida has RB2 upside for Fantasy GMs in PPR leagues.

SF - WR Pierre Garcon to undergo surgery

Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco

San Francisco 49ers WR Pierre Garcon (knee) is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery and will be placed on the Reserve/Injured list.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Garcon is signed through the 2021 season with the 49ers but we think he might have played his last down in San Francisco. He's played in only 16 games over the last two years with the 49ers. Garcon is set to be on the books for $5.6 million in 2019. The 49ers move forward this year with Marquise Goodwin and rookie Dante Pettis as their top wideouts.

NYJ - QB Sam Darnold has good chance to play

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) does not appear to be in any danger of missing the Week 15 game even though he suffered a foot injury during the last game, according to head coach Todd Bowles.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Darnold was banged up again on Sunday but was able to finish the game. Bowles said Darnold's latest foot injury is not related to the foot injury he suffered earlier in the season.

BUF - RB Chris Ivory day-to-day

    Source: BuffaloBills.com - Chris Brown

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) is considered day-to-day because of a shoulder injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ivory would be the team's lead back if LeSean McCoy can't go this week due to a hamstring injury. With Ivory also banged up, the Bills are incredibly thin at the running back position. Marcus Murphy could get more work this week and gadget player/WR/RB Isaiah McKenzie could get some carries too. They do have Keith Ford on their practice squad if they need more bodies at the position.

NFL - Antoine Wesley declares for draft

    Source: Twitter

Texas Tech WR Antoine Wesley announced Monday, Dec. 10, that he will enter the 2018 NFL Draft. "After much thought and prayer, and after receiving positive feedback from the NFL, I have decided to enter the 2019 NFL Draft," Wesley wrote in a Twitter post. "I look forward to continue working hard and making the sacrifices to achieve my lifelong dream of playing this game I love at the highest level."

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wesley had a breakout season for the Red Raiders this year, racking up 1,410 receiving yards on 88 catches. Measuring in at 6'5" 200 pounds, Wesley has the concentration and consistency to be a favorite target of his quarterback. He can win at the catch point and can jump out of the building. We expect him to rise up draft boards during the testing portion of the pre-draft process.

LAC - RB Austin Ekeler avoided concussion

    Source: ESPN.com - Eric D. Williams

Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (neck) is day-to-day with a neck stinger he suffered in Week 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the Chargers here...especially because they play on Thursday night against the Chiefs in Week 15. Reports indicate this could be the week that Melvin Gordon returns to the field after missing some time due to a knee injury. Ekeler is there to be the lead back in case Gordon does not yet return. Ekeler was also evaluated for concussion but was cleared and is not in the league's protocol.

WAS - WR Josh Doctson dealing with concussion

    Source: ESPN.com - John Keim

Washington Redskins WR Josh Doctson (concussion) was placed in the league's concussion protocol Monday, Dec. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Doctson will have to obviously clear the protocol before he's back out there on the field. Washington's season has quickly gone in the tank, but Doctson has been a bit of a bright spot in recent weeks...and he's coming off a four-catch, 84-yard performance against the Giants.

NO - WR Ted Ginn could return from IR

    Source: ESPN.com - Mike Triplett

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) may still return from the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Dec. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Getting Ginn back would give the passing game a speedy deep threat that hasn't necessarily been there every week for QB Drew Brees. Head coach Sean Payton has been encouraged by Ginn's rehabilitation. Ginn cannot be designated to return if teammate OG Josh LeRibeus (ankle) is designated, however.

WAS - TE Jordan Reed could miss rest of 2018

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (foot) is reportedly not dealing with a serious foot injury, but he may not play again this season due to a foot sprain.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Reports vary about the severity of the foot injury. What's known is this; Reed has a long injury history and doesn't need to get rushed back to the field in a 2018 season that has quickly gone down the drain. Reed is signed through the 2021 season.

BAL - RB Kenneth Dixon to see more work

Source: The Athletic - Jeff Zrebiec

Baltimore Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon should expected his role 'to grow going forward,' according to head coach John Harbaugh.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy GMs should have picked up Dixon a couple of weeks ago when he was designated to return off of Injured Reserve. If you didn't have the bench space then (and he's still out there), you may have to make room for him now. It's clear they want to get Dixon more involved and he's got flex appeal as the fantasy playoffs continue.

BAL - QB Lamar Jackson no worse for wear

    Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) 'should be OK' according to head coach John Harbaugh despite missing the final two plays of the game in Week 14 versus the Kansas City Chiefs with a left ankle injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jackson should be okay but we'll know more about his status on Wednesday. With Joe Flacco (hip) getting better, the Ravens may choose to use both quarterbacks...or hand the job back to the veteran. Stay tuned.

BUF - RB LeSean McCoy day-to-day

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) is considered day-to-day with a hamstring strain after undergoing an MRI on Monday, Dec. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hamstring injuries can linger so McCoy's practice status is worth monitoring all week. It's not like he's been lighting up the stat sheet anyway, so Fantasy GMs (and DFS players) have better options out there. The Bills would use Chris Ivory as their lead back if McCoy can't play in Week 15.

NYJ - RB Isaiah Crowell could struggle to play Week 15

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets RB Isaiah Crowell (foot) is 'pretty sore' and 'nicked up,' according to head coach Todd Bowles.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Crowell went down early against the Bills on Sunday and the Jets turned to Eli McGuire as the lead back. McGuire had 83 total yards (rushing, receiving) and one rushing touchdown in Week 14. Watch Crowell's status during the week of practice but it looks like McGuire could be getting a larger role in Week 15.

MIA - QB Ryan Tannehill nursing sore ankle

Source: Miami Herald - Adam Beasley

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is reportedly 'sore' but 'walking around,' according to head coach Adam Gase.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tannehill was banged up in the game against the Patriots and his availability for Week 15 is up in the air. We should see him limited during the week of practice as he deals with this sore ankle.

CLE - Mike McCarthy a candidate for Browns

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is a realistic candidate for the Cleveland Browns' head coaching vacancy due to his strong ties to general manager John Dorsey, assistant general manager Eliot Wolf and vice president of player personnel Alonzo Highsmith Sr.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Browns are going to be looking for the best possible coach they can find. McCarthy is a big name and had success in Green Bay, but he did seem to fall short in getting the most out of Aaron Rodgers. His offensive philosophy may not mesh well with Browns QB Baker Mayfield. The Browns need to find a great fit (cough, Lincoln Riley, cough) for their young franchise quarterback.

PHI - RB Corey Clement to have MRI

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles RB Corey Clement (knee) will have an MRI Monday, Dec. 10, for what is believed to be a knee sprain.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No word yet on the severity of the sprain. The Eagles have Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood to get more snaps in the case of Clement missing time. We'll know more about his status later in the week. In Week 15 the Eagles are on the road versus the Rams.

WAS - QB Josh Johnson to start in Week 15

Source: NBC Sports Washington - JP Finlay

Washington Redskins QB Josh Johnson will start in Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to head coach Jay Gruden. Johnson passed for 195 yards in relief of QB Mark Sanchez on Sunday, Dec. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sanchez was awful in his lone start for Washington. Johnson looked much better and the team responded to his play offensively. On the road against Jacksonville in Week 15, Johnson has a tough matchup. Fantasy GMs have much better options at the quarterback position.

    Wednesday Update

LAC - RB Austin Ekeler misses practice

    Source: Chargers.com

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (neck, concussion) was held out of practice Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It was reported earlier that Ekeler is not expected to play this week. The Chargers might be rolling out Justin Jackson as their starter in Week 15 on Thursday night against the Chiefs.

LAC - RB Melvin Gordon is a game-time decision

Source: Los Angeles Times - Mike DiGiovanna

Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon (knee) will be a game-time decision Thursday, Dec. 11, against the Kansas City Chiefs as he continues to nurse a sprained right knee.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy GMs have to be ready to make a move here. The Chargers have a good matchup against a soft Chiefs defense in Week 15, but it's going to be difficult to trust Gordon his first week back...especially since his return may or may not be close. Expect the team to be cautious with Gordon. Justin Jackson may get a large role if Gordon (knee) can't play and Austin Ekeler is still in concussion protocol.

KC - WR Tyreek Hill limited

    Source: Chiefs.com

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (heel, wrist) was limited in practice Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hill had his foot injury taped up on Sunday and played with the injury. He should do the same thing on Thursday night against the Chargers. Watch this one closely to see which way he's moving on Wednesday.

    MIN - John DeFilippo fired

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator John DeFilippo was fired Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Vikings offense has not been good this year. DeFilippo was supposed to work his way to a head coaching position and he had free agent QB Kirk Cousins to help him there. Instead, the Vikings offense has struggled to score points or even move the ball. DeFilippo will get another chance, perhaps not as an offensive coordinator, soon enough when the coaching bloodbath takes place after the regular season.

NYJ - RB Elijah McGuire absent Tuesday

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets RB Elijah McGuire (ankle) missed practice Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Isaiah Crowell is banged up right now with a foot injury. If he doesn't play against the Texans on Saturday, the team would turn to McGuire as the starter...if he's healthy. Trenton Cannon is the backup behind McGuire. Check back to see if he can practice later in the week.

KC - WR Kelvin Benjamin should play

Source: NFL Network - Omar Ruiz

Kansas City Chiefs WR Kelvin Benjamin expects to play Thursday, Dec. 13, against the Los Angeles Chargers.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Chiefs are banged up right now with a few key skill position players missing (or limited) in practice this week. Benjamin said he's been learning the offense since last week and offensive Eric Bienemy said the offense will be 'all hands on deck.' In his first game with his new team, we'd only count on Benjamin as a crazy deep 'what the heck' flex in Week 15.

NYJ - RB Isaiah Crowell misses Tuesday practice

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets RB Isaiah Crowell (foot) was not spotted at practice Tuesday, Dec. 11, as he deals with a foot injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets may have to turn to Eli McGuire on Saturday against the Texans although McGuire's missed time as well. Over the last three weeks, the Texans rush defense is second in the league allowing an average of just 62.0 rushing yards per game.

PIT - QB Ben Roethlisberger will have to manage pain

Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - Ed Bouchette

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (ribs) is dealing with several rib bruises, but should be available for Week 15, head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rib injuries just come down to pain tolerance and Roethlisberger is proven to be one of the toughest players in the NFL. Tomlin added that Roethlisberger will need pain management throughout the week.

PIT - RB James Conner not ruled out

Source: NFL Network - Aditi Kinkhabwala

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (ankle) was not ruled out of returning in Week 15 by head coach Mike Tomlin on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Don't get too excited but there is a small possibility we see Conner's return to the field. We'll know more on Friday. We expect Conner may need more time to heal and the Steelers would go with Jaylen Samuels as their lead back if that's the case.

LAC - RB Justin Jackson has an opening

    Source: NFL.com - Steve Wyche

Los Angeles Chargers RB Justin Jackson is likely to see more playing time with RBs Melvin Gordon (knee) and Austin Ekeler (concussion) unlikely to play Thursday, Dec. 13, in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gordon is considered a game-time decision for Thursday night's game against the Chiefs. If Gordon doesn't play and Ekeler is not cleared, Jackson would step into the starting role. That alone gives him flex appeal in Week 15.

NYJ - Full practice for QB Sam Darnold

    Source: HoustonTexans.com

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) participated fully in practice Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A good sign for Darnold's availability on Saturday against the Texans. Fantasy GMs are not starting him but the rookie will continue to get valuable experience as the Jets starter.

NYJ - WR Quincy Enunwa absent from practice

    Source: HoustonTexans.com

New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) was not at practice Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets play on Saturday against the Texans. They could be getting Enunwa some rest here. We'll know more about his status on Wednesday.

HOU - WR DeAndre Hopkins limited

    Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins (foot) practiced on a limited basis Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hopkins has been limited all year long in practice. The team travels to play the Jets on Saturday and all Fantasy GMs are going to start Hopkins if they've got him.

CLE - TE David Njoku has full practice

    Source: ClevelandBrowns.com

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) participated fully in practice Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Broncos struggle to stop tight ends historically (see George Kittle's 200-yard performance just last week). Njoku is the latest tight end to get to go against the Broncos. The Browns travel to play in Denver on Saturday and Njoku is a TE1 for Fantasy GMs.

OAK - Oakland cuts RB C.J. Anderson

    Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates

Oakland Raiders RB C.J. Anderson was released Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Anderson was just picked up last week and now finds himself without a job again. Two teams (Panthers, Raiders) have moved on from Anderson so far this season but he might get a shot with another team before the end of a regular season.

PHI - RB Corey Clement lands on IR

    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles RB Corey Clement (knee) and DE Josh Sweat (ankle) were placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Dec. 11. In addition, free-agent DE Daeshon Hall (Texans) was signed.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Eagles now move on with Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood as the change-of-pace options behind power back Josh Adams. Clement is not a lock to make the 53-man roster in 2019.

DEN - WR Courtland Sutton not at practice

    Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (thigh) was not able to practice Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sutton was supposed to take over as the no.1 wide receiver for the Broncos after Emmanuel Sanders (Achilles') was lost for the season last week. Instead of thriving against the 49ers, Sutton struggled and only caught two passes for 14 yards. He got banged up on Sunday but did try to play through the injury. We'll see if he was just getting some extra rest today. Sutton and the Broncos are going against the Browns on Saturday in Week 15.

KC - WR Sammy Watkins remains sidelined

    Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher

Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) will not practice Tuesday, Dec. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Earlier reports speculated that Watkins would be done for the rest of the regular season. The Chiefs play in a huge divisional matchup against the Chargers on Thursday night in Week 15. It looks like they'll continue on without Watkins at this moment. Perhaps newly acquired WR Kelvin Benjamin will get some playing time this week behind guys like Tyreek Hill and Chris Conley.

KC - RB Spencer Ware to sit out practice

    Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (shoulder) will not practice Tuesday, Dec. 11, as he recovers from a shoulder injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ware's status is considered to be precautionary at this moment. The Wednesday practice report should give us a clear indication of Ware's availability for Thursday night's game against the Chargers. The Chiefs would turn to Damien Williams as their lead back if Ware can't go.

    Thursday Update

KC - RB Spencer Ware doubtful

    Source: Chiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (shoulder, hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12, and is doubtful for Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A short week for the Chiefs means they'll be looking elsewhere for a lead back with Ware likely to miss Thursday night's game against the Chargers. Damien Williams should lead the way on the ground, providing RB3/flex value for Fantasy GMs in Week 15.

PHI - QB Carson Wentz's season may be over

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating an earlier report, Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (back) is not expected to play in Week 15, and his season could be over. The team is still gathering information on his health.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Eagles should be most concerned with Wentz's long-term health. They've got Nick Foles to take over for him if Wentz has to shut it down for the rest of the 2018 season.

LAC - RB Austin Ekeler not playing

    Source: Chargers.com

Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (neck, concussion) has been ruled out for Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Melvin Gordon (knee) is a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Chiefs. If he doesn't play, the Chargers have to turn to Justin Jackson as their lead back.

LAC - RB Melvin Gordon questionable

    Source: Chargers.com

Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday, Dec. 13, against the Kansas City Chiefs.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gordon's status is truly up in the air. He's considered a game-time decision in Week 15.

BAL - QB Joe Flacco benched

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco has been replaced by QB Lamar Jackson as the starting quarterback Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Flacco has been cleared from the hip injury that knocked him out for a few games. He'll be the backup to Lamar Jackson in Week 15. With Flacco's return, we might see Jackson have a shorter leash as the team's starter.

BAL - QB Lamar Jackson takes over full time

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was named the starting quarterback Wednesday, Dec. 12, and QB Joe Flacco will be the backup.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Flacco has been cleared from the hip injury that cost him a few games. He replaces Robert Griffin III as the backup to Jackson. We've got Jackson as a QB1 this week but he may be on a shorter leash due to Flacco's return.

SEA - RB Rashaad Penny misses practice

    Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll have to see if Penny can practice later in the week. Chris Carson will be the lead back even if Penny can play against the 49ers.

LAC - QB Philip Rivers not as effective vs. KC

    Source: USA TODAY Fantasy Sports

Los Angeles Chargers QB Philip Rivers has produced his lowest passer rating (84.2) against the Kansas City Chiefs compared to any other opponent whom he's faced more than three times in his 15-year career. He faces the Chiefs in Week 15 on Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll see if Rivers can have a big game on Thursday night against a poor Chiefs defense. The Chiefs have the 32nd ranked pass defense in the league, allowing an average of 282.1 passing yard per game.

MIA - WR Danny Amendola does not practice

    Source: MiamiDolphins.com

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Amendola has been bothered by this knee injury for some time. He caught one pass against the Patriots (his lone target) last week and Fantasy GMs have much better options at the WR position.

MIN - WR Adam Thielen able to go full

    Source: Vikings.com

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) was able to take part in a full practice session Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thielen injured his ankle in Week 14 but he barely missed any playing time. A full practice on Wednesday is a good sign for his availability. The Vikings are at home in Week 15 to play the Dolphins.

DET - QB Matthew Stafford limited

    Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (back) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Lions are on the road to play against the Bills in Week 15. Stafford is not going to be in many fantasy lineups due to the matchup and his play in recent weeks.

DET - RB Kerryon Johnson still sidelined

    Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein

Detroit Lions RB Kerryon Johnson (knee) was held out of practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson may have to miss his fourth straight game due to this knee injury. The Lions are on the road against the Bills in Week 15 and they should continue to use LeGarrette Blount and Zach Zenner to run the ball. Theo Riddick continues in his normal, pass-catching role.

CHI - WR Allen Robinson nursing hip injury

    Source: ChicagoBears.com

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson (hip) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12. He was the only player listed on the team's official injury report.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Bears might just be giving Robinson some extra rest here. We'll know more about his status later in the week. If Robinson plays in Week 15, he's got WR2 or flex appeal at home against the Packers.

DEN - WR Courtland Sutton limited in practice

    Source: DenverBroncos.com

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (quadriceps) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sutton is trending in the right direction. He hasn't flourished since Demaryius Thomas was traded away and being banged up against the Browns in Week 15 doesn't give us a ton of confidence. The rookie has talent but has yet to have a big breakout game. We've got him as a WR2/flex play in Week 15 at home against the Browns.

CLE - TE David Njoku practices in full

Source: 92.3 The Fan - Daryl Ruiter

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The math this week is simple. Njoku is healthy and playing against the Broncos. Denver historically struggles to cover the tight end (see George Kittle last week)...so Fantasy GMs can lock Njoku in as a TE1 in Week 15.

ATL - No practice for WR Julio Jones

    Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Will McFadden

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot, calf) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's just the normal day of rest for Jones here. Start him as a WR1 just as you do ever week.

WAS - RB Adrian Peterson limited

Source: The Athletic - Daniel Popper

Washington Redskins RB Adrian Peterson (shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Things could be tough for Washington on the road against the Jaguars in Week 15. Peterson is a RB3 or deep flex play for Fantasy GMs this week.

ARI - RB David Johnson on the sidelines

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (quadriceps) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12, but head coach Steve Wilks said that Johnson is expected to play.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Just keep an eye on Johnson's status later in the week. The team expects him to go and Johnson is a RB1 on the road against the Falcons in Week 15.

IND - WR T.Y. Hilton does not practice

    Source: Colts.com - Andrew Walker

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hilton has been bothered by this ankle injury for some time but he still plays and produces. Check back on his status later in the week.

NO - WR Brandon Marshall shown the door

    Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates

New Orleans Saints WR Brandon Marshall was released Wednesday, Dec. 12, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Marshall was with the Saints for about a month yet he didn't appear in a game. The veteran receiver is almost at the end of his pro career.

DAL - Ezekiel Elliot rests his shoulder

    Source: DallasCowboys.com

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12, as he was resting his shoulder.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That's the plan for the Cowboys going forward. Elliott is a RB1 for Fantasy GMs every week, and he should be the centerpiece of the gameplan against the Colts in Week 15.

BUF - RB Chris Ivory fully practices

    Source: Buffalo Bills PR

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the Bills here as they may be without LeSean McCoy this week. That would make Ivory the lead back in Week 15. If that's his role, Ivory has flex appeal for Fantasy GMs in the second round of the fantasy playoffs.

NYJ - QB Sam Darnold has full practice

    Source: NJ.com - Darryl Slater

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Darnold's foot injury bothered him a bit last week but a full practice on Wednesday means he's good to go in Week 15. The Jets are at home against the Texans on Saturday.

NYJ - WR Quincy Enunwa still out

    Source: NJ.com - Darryl Slater

New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) was held out of practice for a second straight day Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It looks like Enunwa could be out this Saturday against the Texans. Fantasy GMs have better options even if Enunwa can practice later in the week.

NYJ - RB Isaiah Crowell remains absent

    Source: NJ.com - Darryl Slater

New York Jets RB Isaiah Crowell (toe) could not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It looks like the Jets could have Eli McGuire as the lead back in Week 15 against the Texans. If Crowell does not play and McGuire (who is limited this week by an ankle injury) gets the start we can only recommend him as an RB2 or flex play.

BUF - No practice for RB LeSean McCoy

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) was held out of practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCoy might have to be shut down this week...and perhaps beyond. That would make Chris Ivory the lead back for the Bills.

Can’t believe Rivers outscored Mahomes I needed something like that to happen to offset Keenan Allen getting me a goose egg. As for my work league, I have to choose between Tevin Coleman, Larry Fitzgerald and Josh Adams in my flex since Melvin Gordon sat this one out. I’m leaning towards Coleman but any advice is welcomed.

    Friday Update

PHI - QB Carson Wentz has back fracture

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (back) has a fracture in his back, tests revealed Thursday, Dec. 13. No surgery will be necessary, but the team likely will decide to hold Wentz out of Week 15 -- and possibly the remainder of the season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wentz is almost certainly out for the season. The air goes out of the whole Eagles offense sails without him. Zach Ertz is the only startable Eagle now.

PIT - RB James Conner sits again

    Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Conner is not on track to play. Mike Tomlin hinted that Conner might be available in Week 15 but we'll have to see him practice on Friday before feeling confident about that. Jaylen Samuels should be the lead back for the Steelers in Week 15.

ATL - WR Julio Jones out with illness

    Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Kelsey Conway

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (illness, foot, calf) was sent home from practice Thursday, Dec. 13, with an illness, head coach Dan Quinn said. Jones is expected to return Friday.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

There's no reason to worry about Jones yet, but if it was bad enough to be sent home, this is something to monitor.

WAS - RB Derrius Guice dealt with infection

Source: The Washington Post - Kareem Copeland

Washington Redskins RB Derrius Guice (knee) required three additional procedures following August surgery to repair his ACL due to an infection, all of which has slowed his rehab. Guice is no longer dealing with the infection, however, and still hopes to be ready for OTAs next summer.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It doesn't sound like this is going to affect Guice's status for next year, but two Washington players dealing with this issue in one season is something to monitor.

SF - WR Dante Pettis added to injury report

    Source: 49ers.com

San Francisco 49ers WR Dante Pettis (foot) was added to the injury report Thursday, Dec. 13, getting in a limited practice.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A late addition to the injury report is not a good sign but reporters around the team don't seem to think the foot problem is serious. The rookie speedster is a WR3 with upside for Fantasy GMs in Week 15.

WAS - RB Adrian Peterson a limited participant

    Source: NFLCommunications.com

Washington Redskins RB Adrian Peterson (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

On the road against Jacksonville in Week 15, Peterson is more of a RB3 or flex option for Fantasy GMs.

DET - RB Kerryon Johnson misses practice again

    Source: NFLCommunications.com

Detroit Lions RB Kerryon Johnson (knee) sat out practice for the second day in a row Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson is unlikely to play in Week 15. This would be the fourth game he misses after sustaining a knee injury back in Week 11. The Lions should continue with a duo of RBs in LeGarrette Blount and Zach Zenner.

DET - Another limited practice for QB Matthew Stafford

    Source: NFLCommunications.com

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (back) was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stafford has not been a fantasy darling this year. In week two of the fantasy playoffs, Fantasy GMs have much better options.

DAL - Full practice for RB Ezekiel Elliott

    Source: NFLCommunications.com

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A good sign for Elliott's availability here. He's not 100 percent healthy but Elliott will still be a RB1 for Fantasy GMs and the centerpiece of the Cowboys offense.

NYJ - RB Elijah McGuire should play in Week 15

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets RB Elijah McGuire (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 13, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McGuire should be the lead back for the Jets on Saturday with Isaiah Crowell banged up. It's a tough matchup against the Texans run defense, but McGuire has enough ability as a receiving back to have RB2/flex appeal for Fantasy GMs in Week 15.

CHI - WR Allen Robinson a limited participant

    Source: ChicagoBears.com

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson (hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Robinson has been getting some extra maintenance this week as he deals with this hip injury. If he plays against the Packers on Sunday, Robinson should be projected as a low-end WR2 or flex play in Week 15.

ARI - RB David Johnson officially limited

    Source: AZCardinals.com

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (quadriceps) was officially limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson is an RB2 with RB1 upside for Fantasy GMs even though he's not 100 percent healthy. He's on track to play but check back on Friday for an update on his practice status.

ATL - TE Austin Hooper remains absent

    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure

Atlanta Falcons TE Austin Hooper (knee, ankle) was not able to practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Plenty of beat writers around the Falcons don't think Hooper is going to play this week. Fantasy GMs need to have other options at the TE position.

BUF - RB LeSean McCoy listed as limited

    Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCoy being back is a bit of surprise. He's still only a desperation play against a Snacks Harrison led Lions run defense.

DEN - WR Courtland Sutton not on injury report

    Source: DenverBroncos.com

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (quadriceps) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 13, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sutton is a boom/bust WR3/Flex, but DaeSean Hamilton and Tim Patrick proved to be formidable receivers last week, so Sutton won't get the majority of the targets here.

CLE - TE David Njoku ready to play

Source: The Chronicle-Telegram - Scott Petrak

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 13, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Njoku has a great matchup this week against the Broncos defense that George Kittle just owned last week.

NYJ - WR Quincy Enunwa to miss Saturday's game

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) on Thursday, Dec. 13, was ruled out of the team's Week 15 game with an ankle injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Robby Anderson becomes a better WR3/Flex upside play with Enunwa out and Houston's secondary one to target in the passing game when setting lineups.

IND - WR T.Y. Hilton absent Thursday

Source: 1070 The Fan - Kevin Bowen

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (ankle) missed a second straight day of practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hilton is on the injury report with yet another malady, but the Colts have been resting him in practices and playing him on Sunday with great fantasy results. As long as he's active, he should be in your lineup.

NYG - WR Odell Beckham out of practice

Source: The Athletic - Dan Duggan

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (quadriceps) is out of practice Thursday, Dec. 13. Head coach Pat Shurmur said Beckham would be evaluated outside of the building today.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This doesn't sound like a player that is sure to go in Week 15. His practice status tomorrow is crucial.

I think Chubb has a nice game but if I had to choose between the two I probably would have went with Jackson as well because the KC defense is soft against the run.

Ya he should of had a TD on the early screen pass but he tripped

    Sunday Update

PIT - RB James Conner not expected to play

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (ankle) is considered unlikely to play in the Week 15 game, according to a source.

The Steelers were trying to promote the fact that Conner could play without practicing but we didn't buy it. They'll use Jaylen Samuels as their starter and backup Stevan Ridley could get some work as well. Conner probably will be able to play in the Week 16 game.

PIT - RB Stevan Ridley set for larger role

    Source: MassLive.com - Nick O'Malley

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Stevan Ridley is expected to see a larger role in Week 15 against the New England Patriots, his former team, with RB James Conner doubtful due to injury. Ridley has an ax to grind against the Patriots, and he is looking forward to the matchup. 'I was trashed after an injury. To be a starter for four years, to tear my ACL, and to never get a call back, that's a tough pill to swallow,' Ridley said.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Narrative does belong in fantasy football analysis but don't get too carried away if you want Ridley in this week. We've got him as a RB5 or 'what the heck' flex against the Patriots in Week 15.

PHI - QB Nick Foles to start Week 15's game

    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com - Dave Spadaro

Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles will start Week 15's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

On the road against the Rams, Foles has streaming upside for Fantasy GMs. We see him as a high-end QB2 in Week 15.

PHI - QB Carson Wentz ruled out for Week 15

Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane

Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (back) has been ruled out for Week 15's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wentz should be shut down for the rest of the regular season. Nick Foles will be the starter for the Eagles going forward. Nate Sudfeld will serve as his backup.

PHI - QB Carson Wentz could be sidelined for three months

    Source: ESPN.com - Tim McManus

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (back) could require approximately three months to recover from a stress fracture in his back, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.com.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Eagles just need to get Wentz right and that means likely shutting him down for the season. Nick Foles should start for the Eagles from here on out. Nate Sudfeld should move into the no.2 quarterback role with Wentz recovering.

WAS - RB Kapri Bibbs let go

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio

Washington Redskins RB Kapri Bibbs was waived Saturday, Dec. 15. DE Marcus Smith was also waived. Additionally, LS Nick Sundberg (back) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list. Free-agent LS Andrew East (Jaguars) was signed in a corresponding move.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With Chris Thompson healthy (ish), Washington didn't need a pass-catching back like Bibbs. He's shown enough in two stops (Denver, Washington) to perhaps latch on with another team in need of depth at the position.

DAL - QB Dak Prescott continues to be durable

Source: NFL Network - Bobby Belt

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has started all 13 games this season. If he starts the final three games in 2018 he would be the first quarterback in franchise history to start every game in three consecutive seasons.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Prescott has had an up-and-down season but things have looked better for him since the team traded for Amari Cooper. We've got Prescott as a low-end QB1 in Week 15 against the Colts.

SEA - WR Doug Baldwin expects to play

Source: The Seattle Times - Bob Condotta

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (hip) said he expects to play in the Week 15 game even though he is listed as questionable for the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Baldwin should play against the 49ers but he may not get his normal amount of snaps. Fantasy GMs have much better options as Baldwin should only be considered a WR5 or 'what the heck' flex play in Week 15.

ATL - WR Calvin Ridley headed for another dud?

    Source: ESPN.com

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley has a combined four catches for 32 yards in his last two games, and he faces an Arizona Cardinals defense in Week 15 that has allowed the fourth-fewest receiving yards and third-fewest receiving touchdowns this year.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Even though the Cardinals record is bad, the team does feature some talent on the defensive side of the ball. Julio Jones should get his, but Ridley may not have much left over. We think Ridley is a low-end WR3 or deep flex play in Week 15.

SEA - Touchdowns on tap for WR Tyler Lockett?

    Source: ESPN.com

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett faces the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15, and the 49ers have allowed the third-most receiving touchdowns this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Seahawks are surging right now even though their offense has been a little more run heavy than some would like. Lockett is a strong flex play in PPR leagues in Week 15.

CIN - WR Tyler Boyd could find end zone

    Source: ESPN.com

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd faces the Oakland Raiders in Week 15, and the Raiders have allowed an NFL-high 31 receiving touchdowns this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Even with Jeff Driskel at quarteback, Boyd could have a big day against the Raiders. We like him as a WR2 with WR1 upside in Week 15.

    CAR - WR D.J. Moore's role increasing

    Source: ESPN.com

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore has been targeted at least eight times in each of his last four games after seeing no more than six targets in any of his first nine games.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Moore is certainly coming on as the season rolls forward. The rookie first-round pick has earned the trust of his quarterback and has the upside to be fantasy relevant on a weekly basis. We see him as a WR2/flex play with upside in Week 15 against the Saints.

LAR - WR Brandin Cooks poised to bounce back?

    Source: ESPN.com

Los Angeles Rams WR Brandin Cooks has a combined seven catches for 84 yards in the last two games, but he faces a Philadelphia Eagles defense in Week 15 that has allowed the second-most receiving yards in the NFL.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We've got Cooks as a borderline WR1 in Week 15. Expect the Rams passing attack to fire on all cylinders this week.

SEA - No surgery for RB Rashaad Penny

Source: The Tacoma News Tribune - Gregg Bell

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny's (knee) MRI revealed no structural damage, and the injury isn't expected to require surgery, according to head coach Pete Carroll.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the rookie here. Penny's rookie season has been largely a disappointment and he's been outplayed by Chris Carson. Carroll said Penny could return next week.

I need Kamara to have a massive day. Probably going to lose in my work league because I need 60+ points between him and Ingram tomorrow but I have a slim chance in my other league because I have Kamara in that one and my opponent has the Saints D and a 25 point lead.

    Monday Update

SEA - RB Chris Carson runs wild in loss

    Source: ESPN.com

Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson finished with 22 carries for 119 yards and a touchdown and caught six passes for 29 yards in a 26-23 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Without Rashaad Penny in the lineup, Carson dominated touches in the backfield and came through for fantasy teams. He had a high effort touchdown on a fourth and goal that appeared to be stopped, and looked as fresh as he did in Week 1. He'll be a high ceiling RB2 against the Chiefs next week.

IND - RB Marlon Mack gashes Dallas

    Source: ESPN.com

Indianapolis Colts RB Marlon Mack rushed 27 times for 139 yards and two touchdowns and caught one pass for 10 yards in a 23-0 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mack was one of the biggest hits of Week 15. He had his starting center Ryan Kelly back and looked quick and swift through the hole. He'll be a solid RB2 next week against the Giants.

IND - QB Andrew Luck held out of end zone

    Source: ESPN.com

Dallas Cowboys QB Andrew Luck completed 16 of his 27 passes for 192 yards in a 23-0 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Luck was a dud in this one in part because the Cowboys and his defense never allowed this to become a competitive game. He'll still be a QB1 against the Giants next week for teams that survived his small stat line.

DAL - WR Amari Cooper held in check

    Source: ESPN.com

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper caught four of his seven passes for 32 yards and added an 11-yard run in a 23-0 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cooper looked like a potential week winner coming into this one, but instead he picked a terrible week to have a dud. The Colts defense also took away DeAndre Hopkins last week although they may dodge Odell Beckham.

MIA - RB Kalen Ballage makes most of chance

    Source: 1 No Source

Miami Dolphins RB Kalen Ballage racked up 12 carries for 123 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Minnesota Vikings.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The rookie showed outstanding speed on a long touchdown run and certainly made a case to be a big part of the 2019 Dolphins backfield in this one. Kenyan Drake just can't seem to get the coaching staff's trust even though Frank Gore left injured in this game.

DAL - QB Dak Prescott struggles in loss

    Source: ESPN.com

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 24 of his 39 passes for 206 yards and an interception in a 23-0 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Colts defense is starting to stiffen up at the right time of year. Prescott looked like a high ceiling play this week, and he will against the Bucs next week, but you might hesitate if you started him this week and advanced anyway.

CIN - RB Joe Mixon runs for 129 yards, two TDs

Source: The Athletic - Jay Morrison

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon rushed 27 times for a career-high 129 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Week 15 against the Oakland Raiders and he had a pair of grabs for just one yard on four targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mixon was all the offense the Bengals needed in this one. If the offense settles down around him next year, he could be a top five fantasy back and he's a candidate to go in the first round. He'll be a strong RB1 play against the Browns next week.

OAK - WR Jordy Nelson ends up with 88 yards

    Source: 1 No Source

Oakland Raiders WR Jordy Nelson registered six grabs for a game-high 88 yards on eight targets in Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Nelson has been productive lately and is in PPR desperation play consideration against the Broncos next week.

ATL - WR Julio Jones finds paydirt again

    Source: NFL.com

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones caught six passes for 82 yards and a touchdown on eight targets against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jones got banged up in this one, missing the second half with a rib injury, but still came through. He could be a league winner against the Panthers next week as long as this injury doesn't sideline him.

OAK - QB Derek Carr posts 263 yards, TD

    Source: 1 No Source

Oakland Raiders QB Derek Carr completed 21-of-38 passes for 263 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Carr wasn't a bust in Week 15 quarterback terms but he wasn't a hit either. He'll be at home where his best games have come this year against a Broncos team that just got eliminated from the playoffs.

CHI - RB Tarik Cohen totals 10 touches

    Source: 1 No Source

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen posted five runs for 21 yards and he added a five receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cohen could have had a second score if he had turned a reception in the red zone upfield instead of going out of bounds. He'll be a PPR RB2 against the 49ers next week.

ATL - RB Tevin Coleman shines in Week 15

    Source: NFL.com

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman ran 11 times for 145 yards and a touchdown in the Week 15 win against the Arizona Cardinals. He didn't catch his lone target.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Coleman had another long touchdown called back by penalty. His speed was a big factor against a poor Cardinals run defense and might encourage us to give him a flex look against the Panthers next week. Todd Gurley will get the Cardinals next week and likely put up huge numbers with the Rams still having a lot to play for.

CHI - RB Jordan Howard runs for 60 yards, score

    Source: 1 No Source

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard ran 19 times for 60 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers and he added a 15-yard catch.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Howard was a focal point of the offense as the Bears nursed a lead for most of the game. He'll be a low ceiling RB2 against the 49ers next week.

ARI - WR Larry Fitzgerald plugs away

    Source: NFL.com

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught seven of eight targets for 82 yards in the Week 15 loss at the Atlanta Falcons.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fitzgerald ended up delivering in PPR leagues only because Mike Glennon came in to relieve a struggling Josh Rosen. He'll be a low ceiling WR3/Flex against the Rams next week.

JAX - RB Leonard Fournette finishes with 46 yards

    Source: NFL.com

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette rushed for 46 yards on 11 carries against the Washington Redskins in Week 15. He also caught three passes for 18 yards during the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fournette wasn't able to get his usual volume despite a close game throughout because the Jaguars couldn't sustain any drives against Washington. He'll still be a tempting RB2 against Miami next week if you survived this game.

ARI - RB David Johnson quietly contributes

    Source: NFL.com

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson rushed 11 times for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Week 15 loss at the Atlanta Falcons. Johnson chipped in three receptions for 68 yards on six targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson got most of production on one early drive and it looked like he might finally have that big game we've been waiting for, but turnovers doomed the Cardinals and Johnson's production petered out. He was still better than expected, but faces the tough Rams defense next week.

BUF - WR Isaiah McKenzie gets involved

    Source: NFL.com

Buffalo Bills WR Isaiah McKenzie saw a team-high seven targets, catching six for 53 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McKenzie is working the short and intermediate areas and could be a worthy desperation play as a WR3/Flex against the Patriots next week. Check the practice reports this week as he had to leave the game on a cart with an injury, but eventually returned.

NYG - TE Evan Engram catches eight passes

    Source: NFL.com

New York Giants TE Evan Engram caught eight passes for 75 yards against the Tennessee Titans in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Engram almost had a garbage time touchdown, but Eli Manning underthrew him in the end zone. He's back to being a TE1 against the Colts next week.

DET - WR Kenny Golladay shines vs. tough matchup

    Source: NFL.com

Detroit Lions WR Kenny Golladay caught seven of eight targets for 146 yards in Week 15 at the Buffalo Bills.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Golladay bounced back in a big way in a very tough matchup. Minnesota is up next week and will also be a tough matchup, but Golladay reminded us of his ceiling today.

TEN - RB Derrick Henry accounts for two TDs

    Source: NFL.com

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries against the New York Giants in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Titans clearly had a game plan to feed Henry as much as he could handle and it worked. December football is tailor made for Henry and he should be in lineups against Washington next week.

BAL - RB Kenneth Dixon rushes for 48 yards

    Source: NFL.com

Baltimore Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon rushed for 48 yards on 11 carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dixon ran with great determination and burst, but was the second back and couldn't put up lineup-worthy numbers despite the Ravens posting almost 50 rush attempts.

BAL - Gus Edwards continues strong play

    Source: NFL.com

Baltimore Ravens RB Gus Edwards rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Edwards split work with Kenneth Dixon, but got the better part of the workload in the second half and the game-clinching score. He'll be an RB2/Flex against the Chargers next week.

TB - WR Mike Evans surpasses 100-yard mark

    Source: NFL.com

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught four passes for 121 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Evans made some big plays downfield and defied the matchup to have a solid day against a tough Ravens secondary. He'll be tough to bench against the Cowboys next week.

TB - RB Peyton Barber reaches end zone

    Source: NFL.com

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Peyton Barber rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Barber was solid in a week that featured running back performances. Next week he'll get the Cowboys defense that Marlon Mack ran all over and is worth a flex look.

CIN - Knee injury for WR Tyler Boyd

    Source: Bengals.com

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 15 game and will not return.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Boyd was doing enough with Jeff Driskel to stay in lineups, but might not be available for us against the Browns next week.

Rough ending to my fantasy season as I got eliminated in the semi-finals in 2 leagues one of which I went 11-2 in. I still can win 3rd place money in one which means I get my buy in back if I win, but in the other one where I went 11-2 in my season is over making it a tough pill to swallow.
