Guy is straight trash.
People make fun of the Jags for sticking with Bortles, but I'd much rather be the Jags than the Vikings who are 80 mill in the hole with a guy who is average at best. I think he is now 5-13 in primetime and 4-24 against teams with winning records. Just think about that for a second, 4-24.
They would have been better off with bum ass Keenum and saving the money.

I agree and I'm glad that my Niners didn't sign him and instead got Garropolo. Even though Jimmy G got hurt this year and still hasn't proven himself as a full time starter I'd much rather have him than a guy in Cousins who can't beat good teams and won't take your team very far.

Also, consider the schedule...of the 16 games, 13 (no det x 2 and no SF despite their 7 game streak end of year) are versus teams that are or where last year in the playoffs last 2 years. Teams like SF we caught early coming off 7 straight wins w Garrspolo Chicago catches week 15 w a backup.

Unless you think he can win you a SB, you don’t give him that contract. That’s an elite defense, all you need is an above average and clutch QB to pair with the defense. Cousins is a bum, guy always disappears in the big moment.
I still think main reason why he got so much praise early on was because he was so much better than washed up RG3, and that isn’t saying much.
Exactly. Almost every qb in the league throws for more yards and TDs then most hall o famers from back in the day. New league catered to passing. Those empty numbers mean nothing when you can't beat a decent opponent

The offensive line was banged up early and stunk as well. A lot of hits and sacks on Cousins.

na...Cousins simply a 7 or 8 win QB who was fortunate enough to pad his stats against sh*t teams which happened to be timed perfectly with his free agency and also at the same time there was a serious lack of other options around the league (still the case today). So in other words he was simply in the right place and the exact right time to capitalize on a team who was desperate.
I guess we should ask Thelen, Diggs, and Rudolph. I think the difference is Shurmur was a much better play caller!

I've been a supporter of the Cousins signing decision...until last night. Am admitting I was wrong--he looked pathetic!!
First off Cousins is a man of jesus, hes too nice. He dosnt have that killer instinct. He says I hope and I think alot, which tells me his confidence is shook. Hes got alot of doubters who are correct. Hes scared to make a mistake, so he holds onto the ball to long. His Oline sucks as well, thats part of the issue here.
You bought the Cousins Kool Aid. He sucks. Always has, always will. Minnesota lost any chance at a SB appearance the day he was signed.
Zimmer is an outstanding HC. He just realized early in season how bad Cousins is and wants to limit his chances of turning ball over.
Cousins agent is a genius for suckering in the Vikings (who probably have the worst front office) into paying for a Prime New York Steak and getting a Big Mac in return. And people wonder why Minnesota has not won a Superbowl.
