Jones didn't play on Sunday against the Panthers and there was some thought that the extra bit of rest would allow him to play on Thanksgiving. It is no given we see Jones on Thursday against the Bears. We'll see if he can get out there in practice at some point. He's considered week-to-week with a bone bruise on his knee.


NO - No practice for Tre'Quan Smith

New Orleans Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith (foot) was not able to practice Monday, Nov. 19.

Smith had 157 yards receiving and a touchdown on Sunday against the Eagles. We'd hate to see him slowed down with this foot injury going forward. We'll see if he can practice at some point this week. The Saints are at home to play the Falcons on Thanksgiving.


ATL - WR Calvin Ridley listed as limited

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (thigh) was limited during the team's walkthrough Monday, Nov. 19.

Oakland Raiders WR Jordy Nelson (knee) has a chance to return for Week 12, according to head coach Jon Gruden. He ran well Monday, Nov. 19, as he continues to recover from a knee contusion.

Bad news for LaFell here. He's a free agent in 2019 and the veteran receiver might have suffered a career-ending injury with this Achilles' injury. He may struggle to be ready for the start of the regular season in 2019 and might find it difficult to find work even if he was fully healthy.

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (thumb) will try to play this week despite breaking his thumb in Week 11.

Martin was benched in the game against the Cardinals at halftime. Gruden added that he hopes to have RB DeAndre Washington involved more over the last six games of the season. Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston will reportedly be named the starting quarterback for Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota (shoulder) suffered a stinger as opposed to aggravating his elbow injury in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Miami Dolphins WR Jakeem Grant (leg) is scheduled to undergo lower leg surgery Monday, Nov. 19, and will miss the rest of the 2018 season, according to head coach Adam Gase, who added that he hopes Grant will be ready in time for spring workouts but will 'absolutely be back' for the start of next season.

CHI - QB Chase Daniel to start?

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel could be making his first start of the year this week with 'plenty of signs' pointing that direction, according to The Chicago Tribune's Dan Wiederer. QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) is dealing with a shoulder injury as noted earlier. Note this report came out later in the day Tuesday several hours after Adam Schefter's report that the Bears were optimistic about Trubisky playing Thursday.

The Bears are on the road in Detroit as they play on Thanksgiving in Week 12. Daniel was with Nagy during their time with the Chiefs and knows the offense well. The Buccaneers turn to Cameron Brate as their top tight end and he's a favorite target of QB Jameis Winston. Keep Brate's name in mind when looking for a cheaper DFS play in Week 12. Season-long Fantasy GMs know that Brate can post TE1 numbers on a weekly basis.

CHI - Conflicting Reports About QB Mitchell Trubisky

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) is dealing with a shoulder injury suffered in the fourth quarter of Week 11, but the Bears are reportedly optimistic that he will be able to play Thanksgiving Day, a source said Tuesday, Nov. 20. Note that this report from Schefter was around mid day on Tuesday. Other reports later Tuesday indicated Trubisky could miss the game.

Darnold has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Patriots because of a foot injury. It’s the second straight game that the rookie has missed.

Josh McCown will start for the second game in a row. McCown was 17-of-34 for 135 yards and two interceptions in a 41-10 loss to the Bills in Week 10. Davis Webb will back McCown up.

The Jets are holding out hope that wide receiver Robby Anderson will be able to join McCown in the offense. Anderson has been listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown will play in Week 12's game against the Denver Broncos in Denver. He did not discuss if he had sickle-cell trait, a genetic abnormality which can affect red blood cells and could potentially put carriers at risk when performing strenuous activities at high altitudes. Former Steelers WR Santonio Holmes claimed in an August radio interview that Brown had the trait.

Gordon had 10 carries for 61 yards and two touchdowns and two catches for five yards before exiting.
