James Conner has really developed and could be a starter for most teams........

He can catch as well as he can run..

He will definitely keep Bell on his toes.........

The fact Conner beat cancer is all you need to know...........

Bell not reporting, surrenders $853K paycheck

Le'Veon Bell will not report to the Steelers, who left for Cleveland already, and has officially surrendered his Game 1 paycheck worth $853,000.

    Jeremy FowlerESPN Staff Writer

Week 2 is now the earliest Le'Veon Bell will return to the Steelers. Bell had until Saturday at 4 p.m. to sign his tender and still be eligible for this week's $853,000 - and he won't be reporting, per ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Funny Steelers locker room story from Friday: Rookies have paper name plates above lockers until wooden ones are made, but Mike Tomlin told Terrell Edmunds he has to make plays to get the wood. "Those cost $10," he told Edmunds. Emerging playmaker will get his soon.

Everything starts with the o-line - Bell would not be this successful on another team - Advantage being a RB for the Steelers? 3 pro bowl o-line and the best passing attack in the NFL - Bell is a selfish bitch

Put this way as soon as you try an make yourself
as the I in TEAM,you're all but gone in the Rooney's eyes....

They never put up with this BS and never will...........

They did not become the most successful NFL franchise in all of
history by making dumb decisions, you know.........

Look at New England as they use the "Rooney approach"
and might even be better at it.......

“Selfish”?? Don’t kid yourself this shit bout money, they pay huge price for rest of their lives to play this game and they only have a small window to earn. Steelers front office to blame, not the guy trying to get what he deserves.

nobody seems to be pointing this out and its bothering me.... What if its a great decision by both parties not to sign? The steelers do not need to overpay a RB who is good, yes, but not as great as everyone thinks at this moment. look at what Conner did today. That line in run blocking is NASTY. On the other hand, bell saving his body and not risking injury is just setting himself up for 25 million guaranteed ... someone will pay him this off-season and he knows it, his agent knows it. probably Oakland is my guess. Anyways, its smart for bell and smart for the steelers.. I sure as hell don't want Bell on this squad at over 15 million a year, thats insane.

The Rooneys are making the right decision. not to mention bell is known around town to like his ecstasy and raves. he had this grosssssssss dreadlock white chick with him all summer, she bad and body is incredible, but she's known around here as bad news.

Apparently, you do not know or understand what the
"best if sold before this date"means, which is
standard guidelines for RB's in the NFL...........

The Date is 5 years unless you're a freak like Adrian Peterson,
but even he has practically lost all contract bargaining power......
The Skins got one hell of a steal by signing him....

The Rooneys planned for this from the get go,
when they agreed on previous contract or contracts
    with Bell.....

Gone are the days of Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders ECT............

Shelf life is 5 years in general for an NFL Running Back into today's day and age..........

Only people dumb enough to give him his asking price
would be someone like Jerry Jones........
Jones owns an I first personality and his team shows it.............

You won't find one selfish player on Pittsburgh or
    New England............

I wonder what kind of an affect this has on these 2 teams....

Can you tell me otherwise of the obvious?
    #153

The Steelers didn't waste a 3rd round draft pick on Conner last year for the Hell of it,you know........

    The choice is simple really..

A.Do you want to get paid and be on a much lesser I team?

    B
.Do you want to sacrifice a little for the sake of the
TEAM increasing your chances to be great enough to
    win a Superbowl?

There's plenty of room for A. as it's full of I's............

    Nothing wrong with that.........

B,However, all who win must sacrifice at least something for the TEAM.........

A.= show up, cash the check..........

B.= Sacrifice whatever the team needs in order to be the best
    the TEAM can be............

Betting Pitt early @ -5 as it's a steal at this price.........

Won't be surprised if the # reaches -7......

Ben had his ass handed to him yesterday..
It was one of the most embarrassing games
    of his entire NFL career........

I mean all the Steelers needed was a fukkin pulse to
kick Haley's worthless, Offensive, misguiding, UN Coordinated ass,
however the steelers offense found a way to fukk that up as well..
(It was all on Ben)...........,raining buckets the entire game did not
    help matters either..........

Ben obviously did not get enough preseason action to oil his
rusted (galled up like 2 dogs) arm......

    On to this week..........
It is redemption time for Ben as he always comes through after he shits
the bed on true competitors or shitty ones....
The lowly Browns are, well, you know...

Steelers gonna morally destroy the Chiefs's rectum
    come Sunday.........

    Pittsburgh by 10+ IMEO.............

Roethlisberger is batting 1000 vs. Chiefs as he is 7-0 ..........
    .......

Up to -5.5 since I placed bet this morning.........

Pauly - how many Rooney's have you sucked off? Show us your Steeler back tattoo.

Pittsburgh has been fortunate to play in a division with an expansion team in the Browns and a inept Bengals organization. The Steelers have only had to compete with the Ravens (who used to be the Browns). If you look at both teams, the Raven's and Steeler's are pretty even in success since 2000. No one gives a shit about the 70's anymore unless you're dead and buried. If you want to go back to the 1950's, then the Browns have had more success if you want to go back that far.

You've said on many occasions that the Pitt front office is notorious for fukking it's players by not paying them what they are worth. Why would anyone want to play for a franchise like that? Didn't the front office tell Bell to accept the franchise tag last year and that they would take care of him this year? So you are okay with an organization that blatantly lies to their players and fukk them over? And you blame Bell when all he did was work his dick in the dirt for your team last year? Spit out all that Rooney jizz and wake up. Bell is much better off playing somewhere else next year. Pitt is better, by your standards paying young RB's. So be it.

This team will only go as far as Ben takes them. He is on the back side of his career. He looked drunk and disheveled yesterday. He basically gave the game away. His recent history is of him just chucking balls all over the place gifting teams with his crazy play. Good luck with that.

You also have to remember Joe Haden didn't play against KC
which is the biggest possible loss in the Steelers pass defending game..........

Also the difference from Pittsburgh being 3-0 is all on Boswell missing field goals and extra points........
