Jacksonville was pretty dam close last season - team can only get better - not sure how greenbay defense is going look? And those dam eagles are loaded with a progressive head coach !!

Jacksonville is a great team. Top 2 defense in the league and a solid young running back who they can lean on. If Bortels can play like he did in the playoffs, they could make a great run. Last year, Indianapolis didn't have Andrew Luck and Deshaun Watson got hurt for Houston early. IF and a big IF Andrew Luck returns back to form, and Watson in a star this makes it a really tough division.

Jacksonville just about a QB away from being a very good team, one of the best in the league.

They have been building and getting ready to make a run, I think Romo may be off by a year or two, but then again a deep playoff run this year could happen. Last year was the last prep year for it.

So sometime in the next three years we should see some serious playoff Jaguars and not a team that "made it to the playoffs."

This thinking does have flaws. When either team gets deep in the playoffs, or into the Superbowl, you are dealing with a perennially national Green Bay Packer team and a football team from Florida.

These facts should be considered if you are considering markets. After all, when the favorite NFC team loses, that compiled market money shifts to the NFC winner of that game.

Markets blend and money finds it's way into the system as the teams narrow down, some of that money comes from previous winners, and others from other fan bases whose teams have failed.

One injury can ruin a season especially at quarterback so impossible to predict early on but the squares have a good time with it

And a QB injury could even be a blessing in the disguise for a team like Jacksonville, so it is tough to tell.

Is JAX going to replace Bortles? He's the worst starting Qb in his own division.

    2DaBank, check in pal.

I know Banker doesn't like Bortles on Jacksonville, and for good reason.

Jagz was in the AFC Championship right? Who’s got a better defense then them in the AFC? They were a few plays away from beating New England -
    Case closed -
Houston only threat inside there division but that team can’t stay healthy

No. Jags will regress with a tougher schedule than 2017 and still have no qb on roster. Packers still have dumb McCarthy coaching them.

Jags proved they can compete with the best of the AFC even with Bortles...they should be in the playoffs again

Packers is same old story...Need Aaron Rodgers magic in shoot outs and also for him to stay healthy

Worth a shot I guess but there’s a ton of other matchups with the same chances or better

Lol. I actually thought he was really good in the playoffs last year, surprised they kept him around considering the coaching staff took the ball out his hands at end of 1st half and whole second in the pats game. Didn’t even give the guy a chance to win or lose it. The way game played now you can’t have a QB you don’t trust enough to let him try and make plays, doesn’t matter how good your defense is championship caliber offenses will score points on them now days w the garbage rules all favoring offense.

This is not the old JAGZ - like I said they were few plays away from beating New England on the road - Stealth defense

It's never out of the question in the NFL. I think last year proved that with Jacksonville reaching the AFC title game. It's probably pretty unlikely though because I think that NFC is tough and of course New England is going to be tough to beat in the AFC as long as Tom Brady is under center.

Romo is the most annoying NFL color commentator I've ever heard.

Guy is drawing yellow lines during play and calling every play before it happens

and he's also way too emotive and girly sounding.

Thanks for bumping this thread - romo is not that that far off - greenbay defense will be tremendously improve and Jagz got the best defense in the NFL - give Rodgers a average defense and its trouble !!

I guess Green Bay is very possible
but Jacksonville - nah. Romo is jealous of Brady
    it is painfully obvious.
