Who is in charge of the New York football giants?

Wow. A once proud organization is now going to be basement dwelling for a long time.

Taking a RB at #2 is iffy for sure. Bill Barnwell at ESPN did a nice article showing that the surplus value isn't really there. Almost no veteran RBs make more than the #2 pick's rookie contract, whereas the free market pays stud QBs 3-4x that same contract. WAY more upside with a QB, LT, or edge rusher

    Barkley billed as a once-in-a-decade RB. I'm a believer.

They would be very bad without elliot. One player cant win you a super bowl. If they drafted a qb he would sit on the bench for 2 years. No point in paying a top 2 pick a ton of money to sit

They got the best player available. Better than the Browns taking a guy they could have got at 4 to parlay with him. Nothing wrong with what they did.

No team should ever draft a RB in the 1st round. If you want max value of that rookie contract, then draft positions that have the highest franchise tags.

    QB, LT, Cornerback

It's a passing league. Drafting a RB high is dumb af

isn't your logic here supremely flawed?
if they'll be shitty again, won't they have another chance next year or the year after to use a high pick on a QB?

They can do that as well. I'm not a fan of drafting rbs that early but the gm said he couldn't force himself to fall in love with a player.

It was no secret that the Jets were jonesing to take Mayfield at #3, so if the Browns REALLY wanted him, they had to take him. I don't agree with it, I am just saying.

I believe the last 3 RBs drafted in the top 10 are Elliot, Gurley & Fournette
3 very good players who have had big impacts with their teams

This fool is the last person in here that should talk bout losing bettors because he is one of the biggest in here. I am so superior to this homer that he does not deserve to be allowed into the same site as myself. This was a terrible pick for the Giants, and only a homer dumb arse would disagree with that. It is funny how everyone else in here seems to get it but this worthless big mouth fool does not. I will continue to crush you, you fool. I definitely will run your worthless arse out of here when Barkley does NOT win the rookie of the year award and when Penn State does NOT win the Big 10 East. Prepare yourself for an a** KICKING.

What is your measuring stick? Yards? Stats? You don't draft a rb with the second pick.
