Even if true, how could you be so sure. Real information about who teams really like rarely come out. It's either false information or media analysts playing guessing games.

Allen draws some scarry comparisons like JaMarcus Russell and Jake Locker. Meaning big arm, no accuracy. By now teams already know that ain't working in this league. I think he's still top 10 pick, thanks to many teams being desperate about finding a new QB.

Running backs are the worst possible #1 picks in a draft. They are relatively useless in today's pass happy offense and have a very short shelf life. The QB's in this year's draft are relatively weak. I do not see any Marietta's or Andrew Luck's in this group. Bradley Chubb is probably the best player on this years list. This draft is very solid on the defense side. Offesively, it is not that good.

Nobody "knows" but the speculation is what makes this FUN, especially since you can bet on it.

Sure is! NFL draft is one of the most exciting events for me. I love it! It was not very good for my bankroll last year, but I don't care. Gonna give it another shot this year

Enough talking. Let’s get to the mock draft… #1. Broncos (via mock trade w/ CLE): Josh Allen, QB Wyoming

^Poor young man might commit suicide if that happens, since every QB drafted by Cleveland
in the last 25+ years has been an instant NFL death sentence........

I actually think that Mayfield is the best in this class. But Darnold has an arm talent that a lot of teams will find very intriguing. his problem is that he's too wild at the moment. Start him as a rookie and he will throw 20+ interceptions. But sitting a year behind Eli, could help reign his game in, a little bit.

My how things have changed! Interesting that Darnold is still -140 fave to go #1 while Allen is +160, latter looks like great bet.

RB is the least needed position on an NFL offense now. Drafting Barkley at anything over 10 is a wasted pick. There are many solid RB's in this years draft including Darrius Guice from LSU, Nick Chubb and Sony Michel from Georgia, Ronald Jones III from USC, Royce Freeman from Oregon, and Rashaad Penny from San Diego State. All of these players, with the possible exception of Guice (who could go mid to late round 1) will be available in round 2 or later. Why waste a high round #1 pick on a player that may give you 5 solid years playing a position that is becoming less and less of an offensive need? Barkley will probably go at #6 to Indy, as more of an insurance policy for Andrew Luck in case he is still not 100%. Guice may go to the Lions, who need a workhorse type RB.

The whole analogy of qb playing in a weak conference is DUMB
