    Nick Foles

Man was I ever wrong about him.
That TD throw was as good as it gets, and he never panicked.
    Grace under fire.

Saw the interview where Foles understands he will be the backup next year, even if he wins the Super Bowl. Good attitude.

I think you mean 3 times on television.

Quarterbacks completing 76.5 percent of their passes with no interceptions in the postseason [minimum 30 attempts]:

    Joe Montana
    Kurt Warner
    Aaron Rodgers
    Drew Brees
    Russell Wilson
    Nick Foles

I agree though, he is an average starter in this league. These guys saying the eagles should trade Wentz are out of their minds.

Journeyman quarterback Nick Foles will start for the Eagles in the Super Bowl, but he's not the Eagles' long-term starting quarterback. The job still belongs to Carson Wentz, who played like an MVP before tearing his ACL in December and will rightfully regain his job as soon as he's healthy. And that means Foles could be eyed by any one of the quarterback-needy teams in the offseason as their new starting quarterback.

Foles will be under contract with the Eagles in 2018 for the cost of just $7.6 million, according to Spotrac. So, if the Eagles decide they want a proven backup quarterback on their roster while Wentz recovers from a serious injury, they can keep him around. But if Foles lights up the Patriots, he might draw significant interest on the trade market.

He already led the Eagles to the Super Bowl by completing 78.8 percent of his passes for 352 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 141.4 passer rating against the Vikings' league-leading defense. As Chase Stuart of FootballPerspective.com noted, it was actually one of the best playoff performances by a quarterback in NFL history.

This is a quarterback who once threw 27 touchdowns and two picks in a single season. His career passer rating rests at 87.4, which is better than the likes of Joe Flacco and Ryan Tannehill, and he comes at a significantly lower cost
