For his terrible challenges maybe but His 3rd down call was fine and should have been a td.

No worse than Tomlin not calling a QB sneak not once, but twice on 4th and inches

Tomlin doesn't call plays. Haley does. And Big Ben changed the play at the line of scrimmage both times. Big Ben is a slob. Plain and simple. The man thinks he's Tom Brady. 4th and inches and he throws a slant to Eli Rodgers or some shit? Then another 4th down and like 2 yards, he bomb it to Antonio Brown, makes a horrible throw, and somehow Brown catches it. Miraculously. Another horrible play by Big Ben despite the fact they scored a TD.

This is why the Steelers don't win. They give Big Ben the freedom to act like Tom Brady, and he makes mistakes. They are an undisciplined ultra-aggressive football team who thinks confidence wins games. Like you can just be confident, and you can do whatever you want in this world. Lol. Huge reality check for them. Yet again.

Interesting. The guy weighs 250 and he doesn't think a QB sneak is a good play call on 4th and inches - Unreal! Cost them a great chance to win the game. Looks like the Ben/Haley rift will be coming to a head very soon if it hasnt already...

Yeah, it seems it has. But Haley's done an okay job. Imo you have to give the ball to Bell there. Ben can sneak it too. But honestly I'm a huge believer in players win games and lose games. Sports are about the athletes, and when your name is Big Ben, you basically get the freedom to call whatever play you want. We've seen it again and again with the top QBs. And Ben called those plays. Ben made those reads. Just like in the last game against New England, Ben was super confident, Haley said let's try and get a play in here. Ben got way too aggressive, threw the ball to some shit on player against two of the best secondary players on Earth, and it's no surprise it got picked off. He's the athlete, he's the player, he's the QB, he doesn't have to make that throw. He's not a robot. Brady defies McDaniels all the time. Because he's the real talent there, not the coach. He wins those games.

Yet another example of how over confidence and ultra aggressiveness does not always work out in this world. That is the motto of the Steelers. Even today, Laveon and all them were talking on twitter before the game about how they were going to win. That's why Brown Ben and Bell have never won together. 3 of the most over-confident ppl in the league today. They just never seem to learn from their mistakes. Year after year. It's the same story.

There were other reasons why the Saints lost, they were destined to lose the game
