    It only shocked rednecks in disgust. My father and grandfathers both served in the military and none of them are offended by it. They fought for free speech and liberty and justice for all. If you think hes protesting the military you are just dense and your opinion is invalid. He is protesting for civil rights as he clearly stated.     Funny, because every one that I know who is either in the military or served in the military thinks that he's an asshole.

    And when this "protesting" started, the only injustice was Kaepernick's personal one against his team for having to compete with Gabbert. I guess that I would be pissed to having to compete with the worst QB in the league for the starting job. Hell, maybe Gabbert felt the same way.

    My 1st cousin has been in the Army for over 20 years and went in as an officer after he finished college. He'll tell anyone to their face that Kaepernick is an asshole. I am so sure that people serving or who have served just love guys who do things like burn the flag and sit for the anthem since that is what they enlisted and or fought for.
