My guess, the players have already held a team meeting like every other team in the NFL and decided amongst themselves to stand, hence the reason they haven’y Yet kneeled during the anthem.
He’s simply being an opportunistic bacteria and taking advantage of the situation, trying to come across as the sheriff in town knowing it’s unlikely any of his players kneel

I think the best way to honor our country is through civil service and volunteer work. That’s putting action before words. Anyone can stand and it doesn’t make this a better place, it’s just a ritual.
With that said, please don’t take this as argumentative, When I’m at an event I always stand and hat off but I don’t have a problem with those that don’t. I think there are much more important matters to coax people into action over than standing for the anthem

It basically comes down to this If you kneel your not going to play meaning your losing money which NOONE in the league wants to do..Most have familys to support & even if they don't there not going to wanna lose out on there money and what they worked for there whole life to get into the position there at now as an NFL football player....I can see them saying if you wanna kneel stay in tunnel until the anthem is over but for people to think that the players are going to run things is a joke this is a BUSINESS and there employees if the boss of the league wants players to stand there standing simple as that or they wont play or have a job everyone has a boss they need to listen to. And yes I no the owner had a diferent stance on this 2 weeks ago but something changed obv idn just an annoying situation tbh im sick of hearing about it i figured i would put my 2 cents in on the matter that will be the last i say anything more about the situation cause frankly i don't care what they do it's not my job and it's not my money.
