Ready to cap off this weekend 7-0 ****MUST READ****

Texans – Chiefs Sunday night football in America, once again gives us an outstanding matchup. We have the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs traveling to Houston to take on the 2-2 Texans and their rookie QB Deshaun Watson. Watson has taken the NFL by storm so far in his young career. He led the team to a win over the Cincinnati Bengals on national television, only to follow it up by a great performance in a close loss to the New England Patriots. Last week he had his best performance yet, earning him the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award. Watson absolutely torched the Titans. He threw for 283 passing yards, on 25 of 34 passing, with 4 touchdowns and 1 interception as the Texans beat the Titans 57-14. Winning this game tonight against the Chiefs would certainly prove that Deshaun Watson is here to stay. It won’t be easy for the Texans but they do have a defense that potentially could nullify this potent Chiefs offense, and fortunately for them the Chiefs will be without 2 starters on their offensive line. Which will only make things tougher for Alex Smith against this nasty defensive line for the Texans. BUT… BUT…. BUT…. I’m sorry, none of that matters, Andy Reid has constructed the perfect offense for teams like the Texans. Quite frankly there is too much speed on the field for the Texans to keep up with the Chiefs. Tyreek Hill will play a major role in this game, as well as Travis Kelce, and rookie running back Kareem Hunt. Alex Smith has always been known as an excellent game manager, but through the first four games he has shown he is more than that. Alex Smith has the best quarterback rating in the league (124.2), he has a 76% completion percentage, thrown for 1,067 yards, and has 8 touchdown tosses with 0 interceptions. The man is playing like a potential MVP candidate. He’s getting p]plenty of help from his running game which has been good for 2nd in the league in yards per game on the ground. The option run, the dump downs, the screen passes, and all the little wrinkles in Andy Reid’s offense will be very effective tonight against this Texans defense that is mediocre at best. All the talk around the Texans defensive line, let’s not forget the Chiefs 3-4 defense led by Justin Houston and Chris Jones has been very effective as well. They're top 10 in the league in scores allowed, only giving up 19.2 points per game. They pressure the quarterback well, they rank 11th in the league in sacks per game averaging nearly 3 sacks per game. The Chiefs also have one of the best secondaries in the league and THE BEST corner in the league in Marcus Peters. He will be matched up against Deandre Hopkins, who is by far Dashawn Watson’s favorite target. If he can be kept in check, I expect this game to get ugly as the Texans will have a hard time moving the ball against this stout Chiefs front 7. I expect the Chiefs to force this rookie quarterback to beat them with his arm. Consider Lamar Miller nullified as this swarming Chiefs defense will be in the backfield all night. Looking to cap off a 7-0 weekend with a big Chiefs road win.Chiefs -1.5 (-110)
