    Any Rumblings About Relocating Houston?

Week 1 host Jags...any value on Jags line in anticipation of relocating the game? Anyone heard rumors on this?

A change in venue would void all bets.

And anyway, where the stadium is located is not really that bad in terms of water

It will not happen. If they simply switched home dates (they are both in the AFC South) the Jags would end the season with three straight away games. That is NOT going to happen.

BYU/LSU is going to get moved

Texans is definitely possible. Right now I'd say it gets moved. Whether or not stadium floods has little to do with it.

No football in this area anytime soon. Texans/Cowboys won't happen Thursday night either.

Apparently the stadium didn't sustain any damage, but the surrounding area is a different matter. Here they are talking about the LSU/BYU game this weekend. It may be ready for the NFL season opener if they can get the area in shape.

NRG Stadium also is managed by SMG and Thornton said it hasn't been damaged but flooding around the stadium would make it difficult to get there.
"The facility is not going to be the issue," Thornton said. "It would be the workers and support services needed. Would there be sufficient support services to host a football game, staffing and things like that?"

There is NO WAY that LSU/BYU will be playing here on Saturday. That is off the table. The NRG convention center is about to be a staging center shortly.

it might be cool to pick up some cheap texans home game tickets if the stadium is not flooded.

Hurricane Harvey is putting Houston and surrounding Texas counties underwater. There is an impact on the professional and collegiate sports teams in Houston as well. The Houston Astros were scheduled to begin a six-game homestand beginning first with the Texas Rangers on Tuesday and then this weekend against the New York Mets. The three-game set against the Rangers will be moved to Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay. Originally it was thought the series would be relocated to the Rangers’ home park but rains from the tropical storm are expected impact the weather in Arlington this week. The Astros' three-game set against the Mets is also expected to be relocated to Tropicana Field for this coming weekend.

The Astros flew into Dallas after beating the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday and will now hop on another bird and fly to St. Petersburg in Florida.
The Houston Texans were scheduled to host the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday for the two teams’ final preseason game. The Texans practiced at the Cowboys’ facilities on Monday and it’s expected the Thursday game will be played at Dallas’ AT&T Stadium instead.
The Texans host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday September 10, but the game could be played in Jacksonville if Houston NRG Stadium is not ready to host an NFL game. Under that scenario, the Texans would get their home game back in Week 15 when the Jags were scheduled to host their division rivals.
Oddsmakers have the Texans as 5-point favorites in the Week 1 matchup against the Jaguars. Odds have not been released for the team’s final preseason game against the Cowboys.
LSU and BYU were originally scheduled to play on Saturday at Houston's NRG Stadium. It’s believed this game will be moved to the Superdome in New Orleans – just 87 miles east of the Tigers’ campus.
Most sportsbooks had the Cougars as 12 to 13-point underdogs in the game but the line moved up to +14 by Monday afternoon at just about all betting shops.
The Rice Owls have not returned to Houston since playing last weekend in Australia against Stanford. The Owls accepted Texas Christian’s invitation to share its facilities. Rice will set up its football headquarters on TCU’s campus until the team can return to Houston. The Owls don’t play again until September 9 when they visit the Texas El Paso Miners.
The University of Houston is scheduled to host Rice on September 16. The Cougars will practice in Austin at Texas University until things improve in Houston. The Cougars are 11-point favorites Saturday against the hosting Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners.

Yeah the floods were the tipping point to fade a really bad team. Thanks for the tip.
