With such a small starting bankroll, it is understandable why he bets not to lose. He cannot afford to lose. Running scared wagering. A sure fire losing way to wager.

    Top my BTP result (30)

Give the new Bag fella a proper welcome

For kicks I'd like to Win a 15 team open teaser. Got one a few years ago. Really nice payout for low risk, just requires major discipline to not force action to close it out sooner.

Otherwise all the same. Spreads, totals, ML parlays. Try not to bet on shit teams.

You may call it that. But I refer to it as smart investing. Worked for me for the last 6-7 years. And it will again. Keep chasing those big hits dude.

There is plenty of "free money" out there, you just need to be ok making one bet, one team; and only getting a 5-15% return on your amount risked. Some people are just too chicken to do it. They are afraid to risk their money for such a low return. And that is OK. My system isn't for guys like you.

Certianly wouldn't use the term broke. I'm just starting with $600. I'd start with $5K but we got a week at Disneyland coming up and that she-ite ain't cheap (especially with two little ones). I don't need my winnings to get by. I just like seeing how much I can grow it. Last time I started with $100 and slowly built it. And the difference between most of these guys and me is if lose it, I'm done for the year. I set my budget and stick with it.

I totally get that. I have four kids.

I was talking about your "betting not to lose" which I believe means betting huge moneyline faves. This is a sure way to go broke. BigDaddy loves this type of wagering which is why I am surprised at his comment to you.

    Have fun in Disneyland pal

Thanks I will. And I would agree with you for ANY sport other than football and I ONLY bet football.

So since we are talking football only; I completely disagree with you. I did this for 7 years and it worked very well. It just takes a long time to build it it up and the hardest parts were:

Staying away from other sports during the offseason.
Not touching he money to do stuff.

Discipline to the plan and the system is very difficult.

It's all about the power of compounding.

That has got to be the worst excuse for small wagering I have ever seen. A trip to Disneyland? That will not cost you 5K, and that was what you wanted to start with. Sticking to your budget is a very solid money management tool. Wagering not to lose will not make you any money, despite your claims. If you are afraid of losing, do not wager at all. It is that simple. Perhaps you meant to say that you like to make very conservative wagers that are safer than most, but pay a very small return on your investment. That is fine if that is your thing. But trying to use Disneyland as an excuse has to be a first in here, and with the inordinate number of excuse making losers in here, that is something.

    Haters gonna hate.

Just because you haven't been able to be successful doesn't mean it isn't possible. It works for me and I do mean works. And I don't need an excuse, $600 is what I set. If you don't like it, feel free to play with more. Actually, I'm done, no need to defend myself to you. So go hump someone else's leg, muttface.

lock in my futures. usually team wins over, or who wins division. usually drop like 1k-2k on those, then.

    bankroll 2k
    unit size 100$
typically like to stay away from monday and thursday.
lock in one team i like, bet it ml. then parley it with another team. my strategy changes though
