    Big Trouble in Kansas City?

Apparently so. What other explanation is there for the Chief's, sudden firing of GM John Dorsey last Thursday, AFTER the Draft and AFTER the major free agency signing period. Apparently he was the final victim of a major front office change. The timing signals a bit of chaos in the Chief's camp.

Some think that the front office does not think that the Chiefs will have a very successful season and may not even make the playoffs. Some shops in Vegas have their win total at 9. They are picked to finish 2nd, well behind the Raiders, and not that far ahead of Denver. By firing Dorsey, the Chief's front office gives themselves a convenient excuse. With no #1 pick nest season, the Chiefs will need an excuse.

Apparently Andy Reid had nothing to do with this change. Andy will continue on as HC, winning 8-11 games, and then failing in the playoffs, as his teams always do. That will not change. The Chiefs are a team you can count on to play decent ball, but not win a Championship. Right now, it is doubtful that they will be a serious competitor in the AFC for several years to come. Look for fade opportunities this season with this team. 10-6 looks about as good as they will get. 8-8 is certainly not out of the question.

    Andy Reid's pointspread record is 167-140, 54.4%, which puts him in around 7th all-time (minimum 50 games)........http://www.footballperspective.com/b...st-the-spread/

Very true his teams don't get it done in the playoffs...however in the regular season I'll look to back him more than I'd fade him.

Holding out for a 9.5 but don't think it will get there.
Under 9 +110 will be fine.

Three reason I'll be on the under.

    1) Second toughest schedule as per opponent projected Vegas wins totals .

    2) They were +16 in TO differential in 2016. Tied for first with Raiders.
Those things usually tend to even out year to year. Ironically the Chiefs were second in 2015 so they will have to be at the top of TO differential list for a third straight year.
The leader in 2015 was Carolina at +20. Last year they were -2 and finished 6-10.

    3) They were 6-0 vs. the division last year. Tough to repeat .
