In the Russell Wilson era, the Seahawks have struggled in the first half of their second playoff game.
2012 - first game was the wild card win against Washington, followed the game in Atlanta where they were down 20-0 at halftime.
2013 - first game was the win against the Saints, followed by being down 10-3 at halftime against the 49ers
2014 - first game was the win against the Panthers, followed by being down 16-0 at halftime against the Packers
2015 - first game was the win against the Vikings, followed by being down 31-0 at halftime against the Packers.
Right now Atlanta-4.5 for the full game but -3 for the first half. The Seahawks have been slow starters for lost of their games, and even against the Lions on Saturday, the game was 13-6 early in the fourth quarter. They did not dominate outright and their first half TD came on a missed facemask call.
And if you look at Atlanta, they are awesome first half, bad second half. See Saints game couple weeks ago, SD game mid-year. Plus, when these teams met in the playoffs 5 years ago, I think Atlanta was up 27-7 and needed late FG to avoid collapse.
Plus, Kyle Shanahan's offenses have always stalled second halfs, Washington, Houston, Atlanta (forgot lost season in Cleveland).
