In the past 5 seasons, the Favorite has a 14-6 record against the Dogs S/U in the Wild Card game. In the Divisional Playoffs the Favorite has a 16-4 record against the Dogs S/U.

ATS is another story. The favorites are 11-9 ATS in the Wild Card games, and 8-11-1 ATS in the Divisional Playoffs. That is very even.

Home Field Advantage is a split. The Home team is 11-9 in the Wild Card round, but 14-5-1 ATS in the Divisional Playoff Round. The best wager is to take the Home team in the Divisional Playoffs which start next week. Those teams are New England and Kansas City in the AFC, and Dallas and Atlanta in the NFC. The Home Teams are hitting at a 73% rate for the past 5 years. Unfortunately there has only been one team (Atlanta, oddly enough) that was a home dog in the Divisional Playoffs, and the Falcons lost, but did cover.
