Lane Kiffin's time at Alabama came to an early end Monday.

Alabama announced offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin will no longer be with the program as he moves onto the head job with Florida Atlantic.

Both Saban and Kiffin had previously said he would stay on with the Tide through the playoff run.
Steve Sarkisian will step into the job a game earlier than expected. He was named Kiffin's replacement last month.

If I'm Clemson, I'm pulling a Peter Russo and sending some coeds to take Sarkisian for a night out in Ybor City before the game

From what I saw, that Alabama offense sucked, considering they are ranked #1. I do not watch a lot of college ball, but if not for the defense, Washington shooting themselves in the foot, and that running back named "Bo", that wasn't much of a game. LOL.

To me this looks like he was fired..

""I think it's a really tough management and we thought it was in the best interests of our players, our program and Lane," Saban said on ESPN's College GameDay, adding that the decision was mutually arrived at with Kiffin."
