I understand you want to give yourself a chance to win in every game. So, technically you call a conservative game. What I don't understand is... why is it... every time Detroit trails in a game... they open up the play calling sheet... and mysteriously they get back into the game... always seemingly only down by 1 score before 0:00.
Where as... you're going against someone like Aaron Rodgers... and you're at HOME... playing for a division title... and you expect to beat Rodgers... with a conservative game plan? Someone please explain... the mindset on this?!!? You expect Green Bay to turnover the ball once or twice... and you're going to keep it close.
I just don't understand the entire game plan last night.
It's absolutely mind boggling.
Ok I do give Caldwell a little credit... Detroit is either somewhat respectable... or just simply lucky on all the wins this year. You pick.
Again, Caldwell's job isn't in any jeopardy... because he's selling seats... always a full house at Ford Field now. The Ford Family has ZERO CLUE on how to win a championship. I really don't think they want to win a Championship.
I know Stafford is a prick C-sucker. But honestly... he actually had one decent year. I would say he learned more this year than any other. Detroit had ZERO running game... a decent defense... and really... not an all star wide receiver to throw to.
Caldwell is a great game manager... but you have to take chances if you want to beat Rodgers. Detroit didn't really take any chances... blows my mind... especially at HOME.
As for the Seattle playoff game... you should take the HAWKS ML. Do you really think the NFL wants Detroit in the next round?
