Above average quarterback Tony Romo, who has not seen the field this year after suffering a back injury in the preseason, is expected to take snaps during the Cowboys’ meaningless game against the Eagles in Week 17, sources told ESPN. Good and consistent rookie quarterback Dak Prescott has led the Cowboys to a 13-2 record and is expected to start.

Look for 300+ yards and 3 touchdowns to make him valuable for offseason trade offers.

    Good move

This year it's all about a SB win or bust, and the Cowboys need to see what they have in Romo right now. Knock the rust off.

Sanchez may be the backup going forward but he's not going to help them win a SB this year, Romo certainly could.

The only thing that could happen tonight that would hurt his trade value is if he gets injured. If he has a bad outing, no team will care. Everyone knows Romo is a superstar QB in this league, his health is the bigger question. As long as he doesn't get hurt, they'll get near max value out of any trade deal that involves him.

I would play anybody but Dak. Hell Let Jason Garrett get in and hand the ball off.

They don't want to risk injury to Prescott, he is their main guy. ROmo taking the back up role here. All teams rest their superstar (prescott) qb in the final week's meaningless game once they clinch. This will allow cowboys to showcase romo for possible trades if he has a good game but most likely scenario is that Romo suffers another season ending and possibly career ending before the end of the game.

Keep it real. You are one of the better posters. Problem is you let these pukes know you had a weakness. When someone is not knowledgeable they resort to going to your weakness. Have a happy new year kraken.

    who cares ?

my mind is already made up on Philly.

Romo's career is on fumes, he is one of the most
grossly overpaid mediocre qb's in NFL history.

If you really think that....then you're a HUGH dumbfukk who should really stay away from betting the NFL.

But we already knew that much from your brilliant Hillary predictions.

There is a reason he wasn't drafted. He is a great fantasy qb but he has proven he can't win a big game. The new qb is a care taker qb which is what we have needed all along. People can talk about zeke but d murray led the league in rushing.

I wanted the Raiders to trade for him. Something in my gut told me it would be a good move. Ahhhh imagine Romo beating the Boys in the SB. Would have been great. Romo gets no respect. When Dak falls on his face then people will maybe realize.

What is the reason Brady was taken in the 6th round?

Chico...again, I like you....but if you don't think Romo is a good NFL QB, you don't know much about football. Period.

Teams will be knocking the Cowboys doors off to take Tony this offseason

Opie you are a great guy but he is not a great qb. A great qb makes the team better. There is a reason that this team has a better record this year as opposed to last year. We both know that murray would be putting up similar numbers behind this line. Dez has missed some games and they still won. Just remember a couple yrs ago when murray was running the ball til the goal line. Then we watched them Tony throw 3 incompletes. How many times did we watch after another loss where coach was asked about the loss. He would state"THAT WASN'T THE PLAY WE CALLED!" Tells me he audibled. Should he be in the nfl. SURE. Should he be starting for my boys. No. There was a reason that they drafted a qb. I'm glad prescott did as well he did. p.s. I played on meat squad for my college until I found rugby.

Also i am mexican. I have every reason to like him. But then again I think andy Dalton sucks. When houston signed that stiff from denver me an my rich cousin got into argument because I said he was a stiff.
