Rams are tone deaf. I also heard that Jeff Fisher is deaf in one ear. They were made for each other. Maybe the Rams have tried to fire Jeff Fisher and he hears "fine". You're fired is actually mouthed you're fine. Fisher continues to coach based on a misunderstanding and the threat of the ADA. Can't fire a deaf coach. Only way possible.

Jeff Fisher worst coach of all time in any sport

He has the worst offenses in the nfl every year. All he wants to do is run the ball and play defense. People complain of QB issues but the fact is when you're a coach in the league for 20+ years, you should be able to spot talent, and Jeff Fisher has a huge say in who his QB is gonna be. If he thought Bradford and all these other guys he had in Tenn were not adequate, he should have went out and got someone adequate.

He doesn't know how to adapt.

It's fair to say that the game has passed him by.

Rams' Jeff Fisher and GM Les Snead Have 'Toxic' Relationship
By Michael Moraitis/FanSided via Ramblin' Fan
    Dec 8, 2016 at 10:19a ET

Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher and general manager Les Snead reportedly have a “toxic” relationship.

Things are apparently not good between Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher and general manager Les Snead.

MMQB’s Albert Breer is reporting that one source with knowledge of the Rams’ organization wasn’t too pleased with Fisher’s comments when the head coach was asked about Snead’s contract extension.

First, here were Fisher’s comments on Snead’s new contract:

“I’m so busy here, I was honestly unaware he was extended. I’m being honest with you, we’re just working here,” Fisher said. “I look at this as being my responsibility, the win-loss record. We need to do a better job from a personnel standpoint. We’ve had some unfortunate things take place with some high picks in Stedman Bailey and Tre Mason and those kinds of things you don’t anticipate.

    “But we’re moving forward.”

Jeff Fisher Took a Shot at Les Snead?

The source Breer cites took exception to the personnel comment, with the source saying it was a shot at the team’s front office:

“It pissed me off because I knew it was meant as a shot,” said one Rams source. “You see it under that umbrella—‘We need to do a better job in personnel.’ OK, but you want everyone to think that you have full control. You can’t have it both ways, and it can’t always be the talent. Look at the roster, 2012 to now. In ’12, Jeff did a masterful job with what he was given. But we’ve gotten more talent, and we’ve gotten worse.”

When Did the Fisher-Snead Relationship Sour?

Breer makes it clear that things “soured” before this comment, however when exactly the relationship between Snead and Fisher went south is unclear:

There are differing accounts of when things soured. Efforts to get comments from both Fisher and Snead were unsuccessful on Wednesday. But the problems have been an open secret in league circles for some time.

That said, the relationship between Fisher and Snead has been consistently described to me as “toxic.” And it’s been that way for a while.

Here’s what a different club source told Breer:

“It’s always good to have healthy tension between the coach and GM, but that shouldn’t hurt the team or cause finger-pointing,” said another club source. “Over five years, (Tuesday) was the first time you saw public comments. That should never happen. … The organization has given them a long leash. And given that they’ve had time, they have to win, and they have to be able to work together.”

Regardless, both Fisher and Snead are in the same boat as being responsible for building this roster that has failed miserably. It would make sense for the pair to band together and try to fix this, but it doesn’t appear that will happen.

All you need to know is that last week, the guy thought Danny Woodhead was still on the Patriots (it's been 3.5 years since he left New England) and referred to Brandon Bolden (who has only 3 touches this entire season and is primarily a special teamer) as a threat to be concerned with out of the backfield for the Patriots.

    Here are my thoughts.

The Rams know Coach Fisher isn't the answer. He is the definition of a "7-9" coach. Nothing more, sometimes less.

That said, they are waiting on their new stadium to be built (a year or two out) while they play in USC's Colosseum.
Once that is done, time to make a splash and go get a new coach.

    Mark my words.

Now they might let him go. lol

Jim Harbaugh leaving Michigan for the Rams is reportedly a 'very real' possibility
Is Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh already planning a return to the NFL?

If you were going to make a list of NFL coaches who are sitting on the hot seat this week, it would definitely include Rams coach Jeff Fisher, who watched his team get trampled 42-14 by the Falcons on Sunday.
    NFL Week 14

The Rams were so bad in the loss that after the game running back Todd Gurley said his team is running a "middle school offense." If you've seen the Rams play, then you know Gurley's comment was basically an insult to middle school offenses.

The running back has a point -- the Rams' offense has been such a disaster this year that the Falcons have actually scored more touchdowns in L.A. this season than the Rams have.

The Falcons have played one game in L.A. The Rams have played six.

The team's return to Los Angeles has been so bad through 14 weeks that fans have already stopped showing up to watch the team play. During the team's loss to the Falcons, the Rams played in front of a half-empty stadium, which is a horrible sign for a a team that's in its first-year in a city and still has two home games left.

If Rams owner Stan Kroenke wants to keep fans interested, he is going to have make a splash move, so what would be a good splash move?

Hiring Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh would probably qualify.

With the college regular season over, coaching rumors are going to fly, and one of those rumors involves Harbaugh. During an interview with Colin Cowherd on Dec. 9, MMQB's Albert Breer had an interesting comment about the Rams coaching situation as it pertains to the current Michigan coach.

"By the way, Albert Breer on the way out said that Jim Harbaugh to the Rams rumor is a very real thing," Cowherd said at the end of Breer's segment.

Does that mean Harbaugh is going sign a deal with the Rams five minutes after Michigan is done playing in the Orange Bowl? No.

However, it wouldn't be a shock if Harbaugh did land in L.A.

For one, Kroenke is one of the NFL's richest owners, so he is going to be able to throw as much money as he needs to at whichever coaching candidate he decides to go after. For an owner who has everything riding on a new stadium set to open in 2019, $10 million a year might not be out of the question.

Second, Harbaugh is notoriously nomadic. In 12 years as a head coach, Harbaugh has never spent more than four seasons with one team, and he just finished up season No. 2 in Ann Arbor.

The Rams could let Fisher coach out his two-year extension, which expires after 2017, and then go for Harbaugh -- or any other coach -- at that point.

Let's not forget that after Harbaugh and the 49ers parted ways in 2014, it was reported that Harbaugh wanted to stay in the NFL, but he went to college because there weren't any great NFL jobs available.

During his only stint in the NFL, Harbaugh turned around a moribund 49ers franchise and led them to the NFC title game in three straight years, along with one Super Bowl. As the coach in San Francisco for four seasons, Harbaugh went 44-19-1 and never had a losing record.

These 2 math grads are about to disrupt a $19B industry. Check this out...

Harbaugh would probably also enjoy the fact that taking the job with the Rams would mean he gets to potentially beat down the 49ers twice a year. Harbaugh is notoriously competitive, so that seems like something that would entice him.

Also, let's not forget that Harbaugh is on the of recommended list of coaching candidates that was put together by NFL's Career Development Advisory Panel this year. The list is created so that NFL teams have an idea of who they should go after if they're looking for a head coach.

As for everyone at Michigan, you might be able to take a deep breath for now. Breer tweeted out a clarification to his comments.

However, Breer did go to Ohio State, so maybe he's just trying lull everyone at Michigan into a false sense of security about Harbaugh.

On Fisher's end, if the Rams lose to the Seahawks on Thursday, that will be the 166th loss of Fisher's career, which would set an NFL record. If you're Kroenke, employing the man who holds the NFL record for most losses probably isn't a good way to add fans in a new market.

It doesn't look like Fisher is going to last long in L.A. and you can bet that when Kroenke does bring someone in, it's going to be a big-name coach with a strong track record of winning. Harbaugh definitely checks both those boxes.

    This is amazing news.

If you missed it, you must immediately read this Rotoworld "news update" in which they eviscerate the guy. Amazing!

    Rams fired coach Jeff Fisher.

In a cruel, ironic twist for the NFL's pre-eminent loser, the firing comes three days before he was set to pass Dan Reeves for the most coaching losses in league history. Fisher is so inept he can't even claim the record that's been his destiny for over a decade. The firing is perhaps the most justified of the modern era. Fisher has had five years to turn around a laughingstock franchise, but instead made it an even bigger joke. Fisher's team had truly made zero progress on his first year in 2012. A wanton waster of draft picks and capital, Fisher is clueless on Sundays, fundamentally misunderstanding offense and overseeing a cavalcade of idiotic penalties. Fisher doesn't make adjustments, aside from usually dialing up more personal fouls in the second half. Try as he may, he never came close to "cleaning up" his chronic, myriad, inexcusable mistakes. No coach, in any sport anywhere in the world, makes more excuses. Fisher has almost certainly coached his final NFL game.

49ers a disgrace last few years. From elite to collapse in 1 year. Never seen anything like it. Team wasn't elite for 1 year either. Dominant for like 4 years. All their players left or retired. Team got blown the fukk up.
