although i guess we'll find out at some point, brady is 39 and sooner or later he will retire, then we'll see if belichek will replicate his success without brady

True enough but honestly I hate calling anyone a goat, because so many different circumstances come into play. Don't matter what the Sport.

Its all matter of opinion when it comes down to it.

Cant argue with the number or results. But lots of credit to the team as well. Even when Brady is out they are still great. Excellent coach, system and players. Props to the entire Pats organization and team. They are definitely the best managed team of the last two decades and probably of all time.

there are always a lot of 'IFs' debating Sport Stars

    example

    MLB Season HR leaders

Babe Ruth , Hank Aaron , the McGwire/Sosa race

all kinds of arguments can be made to credit or discredit

Without Scotty Bowman would the Redwings have become a Dynasty or would Mario have won the Cup twice.

They should break it down by ERA played in, like you just did. Ruth dead ball era, and nobody hit homers. Hank, never even hit 50 homers once, and set the record, the other two, well, I will leave that to someone smarter than me, but, I don't count them, and neither does the Hall apparently.
