    Well he was seen riding a segway-like scooter through Charlotte with no helmet so it seems like he is alright. But then again, its Cam and he doesn't always have the best train of thought

    Ya, I saw that but I can't find any reports yet to say if it looks like he is or isnt. Even watched the fantasy show on ESPN and they said nothing.

    Newton (concussion) was limited at practice Wednesday, Bryan Strickland of thePanthers' official site reports.
    Newton hasn't received clearance from an independent neurologist, hence the reason he wasn't a full participant. In fact, one of the final stages of the concussion protocol is capped activity on the field, which included reps for Newton with both the first-team offense and scout team, according to Steve Reed of the Associated Press. Backup quarterback Derek Anderson took on the remaining work with the first-teamers, but those could dry up soon enough if Newton gets the all-clear before the end of the week.

    Cam Newton was listed as questionable Friday on the Carolina Panthers' injury report for their Week 6 game against the Saints. On Saturday afternoon, the Panthers announced that Newton, who suffered a concussion in Week 4 and sat out the team's "Monday Night Football" loss to the Buccaneers in Week 5, has been cleared to play.
