    Most confusing line week 1

    Seahawks -10.5
    Miami +423
    Seattle -500

This shit hasn't moved what's the deal here? I mean I know Seattle is at home and a better team but 10.5? No line movements someone? Anyone?

Seems like a pretty solid line to me. What's got you thinking it's weird?

Welrdest one to me is the Rams laying points on the road in the national football league. You're telling me the Rams would be -8.5 at home?

There's always one road division favourite that burns everyone and makes a mint for the books. Last year it was Seattle against the Rams. The year before it was the Patriots against the Dolphins (which admittedly I fell for then learnt my lesson the year after)

I wonder if the Chargers are that team this time around? For a team with off field dramas there's nothing like shutting everyone up and getting the fans back onside with a win at home.
    Especially behind Rivers

    no lines are confusing

nfl lines dead accurate is why Vegas takes huge limits on them

Line went from -7.5-10.5. Not sure what is the confusion. Ml is set right.

    1-4 seaweed?

    Maybe 1-2

Good point. I might want to lock in on that.

I think the Texans -6.5 have an excellent chance of beating the spread at home over a so-so Bears team. Osweiler is out to prove a point this year.

    1-4

After 2 weeks its tough to have a strong feel

Some teams start 0-2 and then win 5 straight

That's a trap line. Has to be. Bears couldn't do anything in pre season with their starters. 6.5 leaving that td as a cover for houston always makes a line smell fishy to me

Lines are least accurate at the beginning thats when you need to bet. Last year Bengals were +3 at Baltimore. The year they started 9-0 Chiefs were a 1 point dog at Jags team that started 0-8 or so.

Somewhat true but week 1 lines seem sharp.

I find week 19, two weeks before the playoffs begin, to be the most problematic from a wagering perspective.

What's confusing? The Dolphins travel more miles for this game than if the Patriots were playing in London.

I'm on the Packers myself -4.5. A fresh Rodgers and the return of Nelson look like a strong play. Jags might be good this year, but it'll take a couple of weeks to get everyone on the same page.

Packers -10.5 at home seems like a lot against a team that can score

I disagree----think your best chance is early in season, late in season, middle is a land mine.

I'll take that song and dance. I don't bet futures. I just need them to show up fresh, healthy, and ready to go Week 1.

people expect jordy to be the answer to all of GB's problems.. nope. AND not to mention greenbay JUST traded a gem off their O-line and the bears picked him up.. if the oddmakers REALLY thought the jags WERENT a threat, this line would be a little higher.. like 6 or 7 .. too bad the books arent stupid and know very well that the jags will probably have a opportunity to snatch this game outright.
