Ryan Fitzpatrick FINALLY Signs with Jets

    1-year, $12 Million

He has had his best seasons under Chan Gailey including last season, and this means Jet fans will not have to endure a year of Geno Smith.

when you view ryan fitzpick6 as your savior, that's when you know you are fuc_ked. jets defense will keep them in some games but this isn't a very good team.

guy is the definition of below average at best.

Does he need to get them into the playoffs to earn those extra incentives,id imagine after last year that would certainly be a wise idea on the Jets part.

Geno Smith should be some sort of a receiver because the guy still has some speed in good hands but he's not an NFL quarterback

Jets are a good team overall with a great defense.....Fitz is a shitty QB though and they have a tough schedule

Brandon Marshall, Matt Forte, Eric Decker is a nice trio

Could be dangerous but Fitz or Geno has to play better

Fitzpatrick is still a better QB than any QB of what the Jets have drafted so far.

It's all relative, Fitzpatrick looks like Joe Montana compared to the backup Jets QBs.

And his best NFL seasons have come under Gailey including last year, he is comfortable in Gailey's system.

Highly doubtful, read what I just wrote in Post #20. And besides the Gailey system, he has a great new weapon in Forte out of the backfield.

Fitzpatrick blows chunks. Lol at the people who think he's good. Dude has never been to the playoffs in 11 seasons.

Geno Smith is better and I expect Geno to win the job sometime this season.

There was a reason the bengals let him go, He can keep you in games you shouldn't. Then allow a 2 win team like the browns beat you.

Guy was never athletic to begin with. Everyone is due for an outstanding year.... last year was his.

He'll be so turnover prone.... I'm going to say he'll make Top 7 QB's for most turnovers... INT + Fumbles in the league.

Yeah whatever. What has Fitz ever done in this league besides throw INTS in crucial moments?? Has Fitz ever been to the Playoffs?? If not for a Broken Jaw by a cheap shot on Geno, Fitz would still be a backup scrub. Geno needs to play. How can Geno get better on the bench?? Is Geno the savior no but he is much much better at QB then Fitz ever will be and Fitz has lasted this long in the league due to his Harvard backgound and being white because it sure aint because his results.

I'm a Jets fan but don't like Fitzpatrick at all

I used to laugh when the Jets had to play him because he was so terrible and now he's the QB for my favorite team

He had a very lucky season last year to get 10 wins....It was all Jets defense and their running game plus Marshall and Decker bailed him out. Also they had the easiest schedule I've ever seen

Anytime the Jets allowed 21 points the Jets went like 1-6 last year

His arm is a joke, can't throw past 20 yards downfield

Would have rather seen the young QBs battle it out...Fitzpatrick will get them to like 8 or 9 wins at best just because the rest of the team is stacked...no interest in that

Ryan Fitzpatrick 60% completion, 3-2 TD/int ratio, 81 QB rating
Eli Manning 60% completion, 3-2 TD/int ratio, 83 QB rating

How can this less than average wimpy arm qb last 11 years in the NFL and never lead a team to the playoffs yet kaepernick nearly wins a super bowl and a lot of people are ready to run him out of the NFL?
