Jets should not get crazy about signing Fitzpatrick.

Hey, Fitzpatrick had the best year in his NFL career and the Jets did not make the playoffs. Infact, Fitzpatrick outright choked against the Bills. Otherwise the Jets make the playoffs. The Jets lost their best RB Ivory and one of their best defensive players in Snack Harrison, also aren't bringing back DB Cromartie and Revis is looking old, So they won't be as good as they were last year anyway. So, why throw made cash at a 34 year old QB who couldn't take a better Jet team into playoffs last year? I'll take Hoyer as a replacement for Fitzpatrick in a heartbeat. They are both similar except Hoyer is alot cheaper. Personally I would give Bryce Petty every opportunity to be the starter. He was great at Baylor!!!

After looking at the jets schedule, they will at best be 9-7. They may even finish 8-8, either way I don't see any playoffs in the coming year. Losses to Cincy,Chiefs, Seattle, Steelers, Cardinals, Patriots twice and Bills once. Not much to look forward to.
