Hey folks, I'm a newbie in pro football handicapping I'm trying to make something out of this. Any suggestions on books a newbie should read on football handicapping?... Also in the market for computer software for trends and data.
Conquering Risk by Elihu Feustel would be a good start. Being patient and betting contrarian isn't a bad route but it's all about timing. Your better off using your efforts to run a business or something though. Sports gambling takes up a lot of time among other things.
Thanks steady hustlin for the reply and bit of insight, I will be looking into that book. I am disabled and can't work, so I am able too but all the time into handicapping. I am trying to come up with a bunch of tools to help me along the way with sports gambling. Also would love to find software for trends and data.
