My comment is/was that this line is not as far-fetched as some seem to believe. The problem is I actually think 4/4.5 is about right, so I probably won't bet it, Vikes +6 was probably the play but I missed it.
The line is so high because this is the WORST possible matchup for the Vikings in the entire playoff field, save for maybe the Broncos. I'm surprised they didn't tank the game against Green Bay to get a different matchup.
I like all of the home dogs to have a shot this week, except for the Vikings. Cincinnati being the obvious choice and Houston should stay within 3.5. The Washington/GB line is sharp.

This is correct. Sbr odds was not up yet for playoff lines when it opened.

Not just sbr odds, look at any line service you want. All show opener as -5.5 Sunday except for -4.5 at Sports Options, but they show opener Monday morning so they missed early ticks.
I refreshed Pinny repeatedly Sunday night until they released the lines. Can confirm that pinny opened at 7.

I've seen pinny do this many a time. No service site gets pinny original #. It's why pinn is so unique.
As I said, issue is with consistency of line source when recording openers. I can't arbitrarily ignore line services, that would destroy integrity of the database.
