Are there more NFL or NBA teams with a legit chance at a championship this season?

    I think it's pretty close.

NBA: Golden State, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Cleveland, and then you really have to start stretching it.

NFL: New England, Arizona, Carolina, Seattle, and I think it's tough finding a fifth team here, too.

The thought of parity is really just a smokescreen. It only exists in baseball.

    What do you guys think?

NFL. GSW will not lose a 7 game series to anyone in the west. And Cavs have a free ride to finals. NFL you have NE, Seattle, Arizona, Carolina, and hell possibly even Denver with that defense. Even packers could show up come playoff time.

I think Golden State could lose to San Antonio. Less likely to Oklahoma City, but stranger things have happened.

I did kind of forget about Denver. I would probably take them over Carolina if I were to redo things. No chance with the Packers though, this isn't their year.

If New England doesn't get healthy, they are in trouble

I like the Chiefs, but Andy Reid isn't a big game coach. He likes bringing his team to the party, but never goes home with the girl.

Thats because hes 3 bills. He does come home with a bag of party favors

...I think if Minnesota gets the 3 seed, they can get past one of Arizona or Carolina...probably not both.

Seattle isnt the same team as years past. They struggled on the road and will have to play 3 straight road games.

Anyone outside of Arizona or Carolina in the NFC would be a huge upset. I think the AFC is wide open tho

As long as Billy and Tommy are around, I think it's going to be tough to go through Foxboro. But like you said, if they're injured, all bets are off. The week off should do them some good.
