Could it get into the thirties and maybe you hedge with a live bet on over 35.5 or something?

If you can get it at the same points, I would add money to my account and hedge it now. If you wait to hedge it, the numbers may not go your way and you will still lose.

Depositing more money isnt an option or trust me I would. Turnovers do worry me. Was thinking broncos defense could hold bengals to under 10 points. Thanks guys!

Looks like everyone is on the under, which isnt a good sign. Didnt have time to deposit more into that account so it is what it is.

If you were planning on hedging for the last leg you should have just made it one team less on your ticket. Hedging has you paying 2x juice also.

Can someone explain what "hedge" means? I'm new to a lot of these terms. I have Never bet anywhere other than a local bookie.

say you have 1 more game to finish off a parlay that pays $3000... Like this guy he needs den/cin under 40 to win $3000... If he hedged he would bet $1000-$1500 or really anything he wanted on the over and then he is guarenteed to win something...

It means sending the opposite side of your initial wager to hell in an effort to recoup potential losses or to settle for half.

For example you bet a 4 team parlay to win 5 grand. First 3 are winners. Then you bet the opposite side to win 2500, guaranteeing at least 2500 instead of possibly not gaining anything.

    Make sense?

Usually means to bet the other side of your existing bet if you have a parlay that could cash in. So if this dude has 3K on the line with the under, he could have bet 1500 on the over. He loses out on the possibility of more money, but will win 1500 guaranteed.

means you bet both sides of the game maybe with a little more at stake on one side to kinda ensure a profit or cut short the amount you could possibly lose. like for example. if you hedged tonight.. you would put a 100 on Denver, but put 120 on the bengals so if the bengals won, you would win 20.. vs just losing a hundred outright.. I know a lot of people who hedge damn near every game their on to kinda ensure a profit. its a weird method but it works

Are you being serious?? How is this anyway profittable? Why not just bet $20??

haha oh its definitely profitable. not lucrative, but profitable. don't get those words mixed up.. like I said its weird but it works. hedging is actually smart in a way. its a way cutting your losses and atleeast gaining a little when you do win.

So if i took denver for $100
And I took Cincy for $120... Id either win $10 or lose $25 because youll have to pay juice...
Im totally missing how this makes any sense...
