NFL Player News - Week 13

    Courtesy of Footballguys.com

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski could be out more than one week

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Updating an ongoing story, New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (knee) is not expected to play in Week 13 against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This story has changed over the course of the last 24 hours. Initially, Gronkowski's injury was reported as minor and he would likely only miss one game. Now, it sounds like that may not be the case. Gronkowski could miss a couple of weeks, and his return to action will be based on his pain tolerance.

ARI - RB Chris Johnson has fractured tibia

    Source: FOXSports.com - Jay Glazer

Arizona Cardinals RB Chris Johnson (leg) suffered a fractured tibia during the team's Week 12 game and will miss an extended period of time.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The team is still waiting to receive a definite timetable for his return. There's a chance that Johnson could be back for the Cardinals postseason run. In the meantime, rookie David Johnson should emerge as the starter as the veteran Johnson is expected to be out a significant amount of time.

SEA - TE Jimmy Graham placed on IR

    Source: Seahawks.com

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Nov. 30, and DT A.J. Francis was signed from the practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding move.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A sad way for his season to end. Graham had 48 catches for 605 yards and two touchdowns in 11 games this year for Seattle. Against the Steelers, it seemed like the team was finally using Graham as much as they should have from the start of the season. Now, he's done for the year and the outlook for his career is up in the air. Battling back from a patellar tendon injury is a long and difficult journey, and there's a chance he'll never be the same player again.

BUF - RB Karlos Williams' status uncertain

    Source: ESPN.com - Mike Rodak

Buffalo Bills RB Karlos Williams' (shoulder) status for the Week 13 game against the Houston Texans is uncertain at this point.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With the way that LeSean McCoy is running, the team won't need to rush Williams back. The rookie suffered a shoulder injury during the team's Week 12 game against the Chiefs.

ARI - RB Andre Ellington has turf toe

Source: The Arizona Republic - Kent Somers

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington (toe) suffered a turf toe injury in Week 12, but the severity is unknown at this time.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Oof. Turf toe is known to linger if not given enough time to heal. It's a painful injury that can easily become aggravated. With Ellington and Chris Johnson (knee) banged up, we could see David Johnson as the team's starter in Week 13.

NE - WR Chris Harper cut

    Source: CSNNE.com - Tom E. Curran

New England Patriots WR Chris Harper was released Monday, Nov. 30.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Harper muffed a punt that allowed the Broncos to get back in the game...and eventually win in overtime on Sunday night. He did nothing as a receiver against the Broncos and was only targeted once by Tom Brady. The Patriots are thin at wide receiver, but Harper wasn't doing anything of note.

JAX - WR Allen Robinson, Bortles top deep combo

    Source: Jaguars.com - Tad Dickman

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles leads the NFL with 50 completions of 20 yards or more, while Jaguars WR Allen Robinson is tops in the NFL with 21 catches of 20 yards or more.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That's why fantasy owners love stacking this combination in DFS leagues. With the team's defensive woes, we should see this duo continue to produce.

IND - RB Frank Gore hurting

    Source: IndySportsCentral.com - Mike Chappell

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore took some shots against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12 and is pretty beat up, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Expect the veteran back to take it easy during the week of practice. With Ahmad Bradshaw put on IR, Gore won't have him vulturing touches. That should help his fantasy value....if he can get a bit healthier and start playing up to expectations.

MIA - WR Rishard Matthews has fractured ribs

Source: NFL Network - Rand Getlin

Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins WR Rishard Matthews (ribs) suffered multiple fractured ribs in Week 12 against the New York Jets, according to sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rib injuries always come down to pain tolerance. There is no timetable for Matthews' return at this time.

IND - QB Andrew Luck will be starter

    Source: IndySportsCentral.com - Mike Chappell

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (kidney) is still the Colts' starting quarterback and will be under center when he's 100% healthy, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Nobody under the sun should be shocked by this report. Some had speculated that Matt Hasselbeck would be the starter since the team is undefeated with him under center in 2015. Luck is clearly the superior player when healthy, and the team will go back to him as soon as he's able to start.

DEN - QB Peyton Manning to shed boot soon

    Source: ESPN - Chris Mortensen

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning (foot) will get his walking boot off at some point this week, but there is still not definitive timeline for his return. For now he will continue to rehabilitate the injured foot.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The future is uncertain for Manning. With Brock Osweiler playing well, the team doesn't need to rush Manning back into the lineup. Stay tuned.

    Thursday Update

PIT - Ben Roethlisberger practices in full
    Source: NFL.com - Conor Orr
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (concussion) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This is a good sign that Roethlisberger is going to be ready for Sunday night against the Colts. We like him as a low-end QB1 with upside.

DEN - QB Brock Osweiler to remain starter?
    Source: BleacherReport.com - Jason Cole
Denver Broncos QB Brock Osweiler is on track to remain the starting quarterback for the rest of the regular season over QB Peyton Manning (foot), according to team sources. The only thing that could change that is if Osweiler struggles significantly down the stretch and Manning is healthy enough to return.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Broncos have denied this report. We'll say this; nobody should be surprised if Osweiler starts the rest of the season. Osweiler has done a good job of running the Kubiak system...something that Manning struggled to do. By running the ball, the team can set up play-action passing. The Kubiak system also plays to the strength of the team (the defense) as they can take more time off the game clock.

ATL - RB Devonta Freeman fully cleared
    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure
Updating an earlier report, Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (concussion) has been fully cleared from the concussion protocol, according to head coach Dan Quinn.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Great news for fantasy owners here. Quinn said that Freeman won't take a lot of contact in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2. Freeman should immediately rocket back into your starting lineup.

CLE - QB Austin Davis to start
    Source: ClevelandBrowns.com - Andrew Gribble
Cleveland Browns QB Austin Davis will start Sunday, Dec. 6, against the Cincinnati Bengals. QB Johnny Manziel will serve as the backup.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Davis has a gunslinger mentality and will sling the rock to WR Travis Benjamin on downfield routes. Having him in the lineup also helps buoy the fantasy value of TE Gary Barnidge. Davis could also check down more passes to RB Duke Johnson Jr. (who we have as a what the heck flex in PPR leagues).

ARI - RB Andre Ellington sits out
    Source: AZCardinals.com
Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington (toe) did not take part in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Ellington might be available to play this week according to Cardinals HC Bruce Arians. However, rookie David Johnson is set to be the team's starter.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski not practicing
    Source: NFL.com
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (knee) is not practicing Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
There are conflicting reports about Gronkowski's knee injury. It seems to be minor, but he may miss at least this week against the Eagles. Make other plans at tight end if Gronkowski is your main man at the position.

DET - WR Calvin Johnson questionable for Week 13
    Source: DetroitLions.com
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 13.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Johnson should play on Thursday night against the Packers. He's a WR1 and a must-start player after a monster Thanksgiving performance in Week 12.

SEA - TE Jimmy Graham having surgery
Source: The Seattle Times - Danny O'Neil
Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (knee) is undergoing surgery Wednesday, Dec. 2, to repair the torn patellar tendon in his right knee.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Graham is shut down for the year, and he may never be the same player after suffering this injury. His status for the start of the 2016 season is up in the air.

HOU - Limited practice for RB Alfred Blue
Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson
Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue (back) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Blue is the Texans lead back, but we can't trust him as anything more than a low-end RB2 or flex play. The Texans travel to take on the Bills in Week 13.

DEN - QB Peyton Manning sheds cast, not boot
Source: The Denver Post - Troy E. Renck
Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning's (foot) cast came off Wednesday, Dec. 2, but he's still sporting a boot on his injured foot.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Now that the cast is off, Manning goes to his next step in recovery. Our Dr. Jene Bramel believes that Manning is still at least two weeks away from being ready to resume practice. The team looks good with Brock Osweiler--and they're winning. Manning may be back soon, but he could return as a backup.

DEN - RB Ronnie Hillman remains starter
Source: The Denver Post - Troy E. Renck
Denver Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman remains the starting running back, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The starter doesn't matter as both Hillman and C.J. Anderson will get plenty of playing time. The Broncos are going with a 'hot hand' approach at running back. We like both backs as RB2s in Week 13 against the Chargers.

IND - QB Andrew Luck gives positive news
Source: The Indianapolis Star - Stephen Holder
Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (kidney) said he has been throwing a fair amount and reported minimal pain.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Great news for the Colts here. It sounds like he's going to be back before the end of the regular season, perhaps as soon as a couple of weeks from now. Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has assured reporters that Luck is the starter when he's ready despite the fact that Matt Hasselbeck has been playing well.

KC - Charcandrick West will practice fully
Source: The Kansas City Star - Terez A. Paylor
Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (hamstring) will be a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
West should be able to play this week against the Raiders. His role might be reduced as the team eases him back into action. Plus, Spencer Ware has done great work as the team's starter while West has been out. Ware is too good not to give at least part of the workload to...even when West is healthy.

MIA - Full practice for RB Jay Ajayi
    Source: MiamiDolphins.com
Miami Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi (shoulder) practiced in full Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
As we get later into the season, we may see the Dolphins get Ajayi more involved. Lamar Miller is free agent in 2016, and there's no guarantee he will return next season. The team may want to see what Ajayi can do with a larger role.

MIA - WR Jarvis Landry does some drills
    Source: MiamiDolphins.com
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Landry is getting a bit of rest here. With a new OC in Miami, we're not concerned about Landry's role changing that much. Landry is a favorite target of QB Ryan Tannehill, and he should continue to be the no1 target in their passing game.

ARI - Three Arizona receivers limited
    Source: AZCardinals.com
Arizona Cardinals WRs John Brown (hamstring), Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) and Michael Floyd (hamstring) were all limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
All three are fantasy options this week against the Rams. Monitor each one to see what they are doing on Friday.

SD - QB Philip Rivers lands on injury report
Source: The San Diego Union-Tribune - Tom Krasovic
San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers (foot) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2, his first time being on the injury report all year.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
You don't want your QB to have a mobility problem when facing the Broncos defense. Check back to see what Rivers can do in practice on Thursday and Friday.

NYG - DE Jason Pierre-Paul wants to stick around
    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Dan Graziano
New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul (finger, hand) said he'd like to finish his career with the Giants after making a successful return from a freak fireworks accident this summer. Pierre-Paul will be a free agent at the end of this year, and his chances of returning are tied to how he plays in the final five games. The Giants have been pleased with his results since his return from injury.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
He's finally able to practice rushing from a three-point stance with his right hand on the ground. Pierre-Paul is also still wearing a bulky club on his right hand, and he said it's not easy to balance with. He expects to wear the club for the rest of the year.

NYJ - WR Eric Decker, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick fully practice
    Source: NewYorkJets.com
New York Jets WR Eric Decker (knee) and QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (thumb) participated fully in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Get Decker into your lineup as a WR2, while Fitzpatrick is more of a QB2 with upside in Week 13. The Jets play against the Giants this Sunday.

PHI - QB Sam Bradford, TE Zach Ertz full go
    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com
Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford (shoulder) and TE Zach Ertz (concussion) both participated fully in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It looks like both of these players will be back in Week 13. The Eagles are going up against the Patriots on Sunday. Bradford is a QB2 upon his return, and Ertz is a TE2 in this matchup.

DEN - OLB DeMarcus Ware back at practice
Source: The Denver Post - Cameron Wolfe
Denver Broncos DE DeMarcus Ware (back) returned as an active participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2, after missing the last three games.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Ware wasn't very limited in individual drills Wednesday. Getting the future Hall of Fame pass-rusher back on the field will boost an already suffocating defense.

NYJ - CB Darrelle Revis still not cleared
Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta
New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol and isn't going to meetings, according to head coach Todd Bowles.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Bowles is unsure if Revis will return to play in Week 12 against the New York Giants. He's got a matchup against Odell Beckham Jr. if he plays on Sunday.

PHI - QB Sam Bradford expects to play
    Source: PhillyMag.com - Tim McManus
Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford (shoulder) said he expects to play in Week 13, barring a setback.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Eagles are up against it this week against the Patriots. With Bradford back, perhaps we'll see the offense be able to run a bit more smoothly. However, against a tough Patriots defense we're not expecting much.

NE - WR Danny Amendola practicing
    Source: WEEI.com - Ryan Hannable
New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (knee) was participating in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Amendola was able to practice last week too, but he did not play against the Broncos. This week against the Eagles, we could see Amendola return to the lineup.

BAL - QB Ryan Mallett works out for Ravens
Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson
Free-agent QB Ryan Mallett (Texans) worked out for the Baltimore Ravens Wednesday, Dec. 2, according to sources.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Ravens are updating their emergency list here. Mallett has a huge arm, but he's not accurate and not a player who teammates rally around. Jimmy Clausen was added to be the backup behind Matt Schaub.

CIN - TE Tyler Eifert sitting Wednesday
Source: The Cincinnati Enquirer - Paul Dehner Jr.
Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (neck) is out of practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Watch this neck injury closely. If Eifert practices on Friday, we'll feel confident about starting him in Week 13 against the Browns.

MIA - WR DeVante Parker to start Week 13?
Source: The Miami Herald - Adam H. Beasley
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker said he expects to start at the 'X receiver' spot in place of WR Rishard Matthews (ribs) in Week 13.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We love the rookie's natural ability. Parker has speed to get by the defense in a hurry, plus he's got the ball-tracking ability to snare long targets. He had a breakout 80-yard game (with a touchdown) last week, and Parker's upside is high going forward.

BUF - RB Karlos Williams sits Wednesday
Source: The Buffalo News - Vic Carucci
Buffalo Bills RB Karlos Williams (shoulder) will be out of practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
He had a sling on his shoulder earlier in the week. Don't be surprised to see the rookie shut down this week against the Texans.

JAX - WR Allen Hurns idle Wednesday
    Source: The Florida Times-Union - Ryan O'Halloran
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol and will not practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hurns will have to be cleared before he can resume practice. Check back to see if Hurns can practice on Friday.

ATL - RB Devonta Freeman practices in full

    Source: NFL

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (concussion) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Freeman should be an RB1 this weekend against Tampa Bay so you should feel confident starting him.

ARI - RB Andre Ellington idle Thursday

Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington (toe) is out of practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With both Ellington and Chris Johnson expected to miss the game, we turn our attention to rookie David Johnson, who we are expecting RB1 numbers this weekend even against a tough St. Louis defense. He's also a nice value in daily fantasy.

DEN - QB Peyton Manning not done for season

    Source: DenverBroncos.com

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning (foot) could still return at some point this season. The team refuted a report citing anonymous sources saying QB Brock Osweiler would start for the remainder of the season. The team said Wednesday, Dec. 2, that no decision has been made beyond the Week 13 game against the San Diego Chargers.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

I don't think Peyton Manning would let them shut him down for the season. He's still dreaming of a comeback. This will come to a head in the last few weeks of the season though, as the Broncos will want to get Manning a little time before the playoffs if he's coming back. For this week, Brock Osweiler is still the starter, but we don't love his prospects and think this will still be a run-heavy offense. As that's the case, Osweiler is a QB3 against San Diego.

CHI - TE Martellus Bennett has full practice

    Source: NFL

Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett (ribs) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Remember when Martellus Bennett was fantasy relevant for 5 minutes this season? We shall never see that time again. Or at least not now. he's not worth starting and barely worth a roster spot.

HOU - WR DeAndre Hopkins practices in full

    Source: NFL

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) practiced in full Thursday, Dec. 3, after being limited Wednesday, Dec. 2.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

One of the most consistently prolific receivers over the month of November, Hopkins will be ready to go and worthy of a WR1 start even against a decent secondary like Buffalo's. Really, Nuk is matchup proof.

HOU - RB Alfred Blue limited Thursday

    Source: NFL

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue (back) was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Blue is, at best, an RB3/RB4 so unless you need some emergency help, this isn't a huge concern. We think he'll be ready to go but that you should have other options.

NO - Willie Snead has new injury

Source: New Orleans Times-Picayune - Evan Woodbery

New Orleans Saints WR Willie Snead (calf) has previously missed practices with a knee injury but has yet to miss a game this year. However, his calf injury is new this week.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Snead started off hot but injury and inconsistency have killed his value and relegated him to WR5 status.

MIA - RB Jay Ajayi a full go

Miami Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi (shoulder) practiced in full for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With Lamar Miller (RB2) the lead back, we can only expect minimal production from Ajayi who is a borderline RB3/RB4.

NE - Limited practice for WR Danny Amendola

    Source: NFL

New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If he plays against Philadelphia, we see Danny "Mr. Glass" Amendola as a potential WR2. Assuming he can get out of his bubble wrap in time to play, he should be in your lineups.

MIA - WR Jarvis Landry, WR Kenny Stills limited

    Source: NFL

Miami Dolphins WRs Jarvis Landry (knee) and Kenny Stills (ankle) were limited participants in practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Landry is the concern here as he is a rock-solid WR2 but we think he'll be good to go. Stills is barely roster-worthy and nothing more than an emergency replacement WR6.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski absent Thursday

    Source: NFL

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (knee) did not practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We expect him to be out this week as the team and Gronkowski are thinking about the playoffs. Scott Chandler could be a very nice play this week as a replacement TE1.

STL - Limited practice for QB Case Keenum

    Source: StLouisRams.com

St. Louis Rams QB Case Keenum (concussion) was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're still stunned he was allowed to stay in the game, so we're not shocked he is being handled with kid gloves since the team took it heavy over the non-action. Keenum or Nick Foles we wouldn't start either of them against Arizona.

IND - WR Andre Johnson practices in full

    Source: Colts.com

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

Johnson has long since lost any fantasy value, so he should be benched if you still have him on your roster at all.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) practiced on a limited basis for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll see if he can make it three. Right now even if he plays we've no idea how good he will be, so it's best to let him slide or not start him as more than a TE3 at most.

San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers (foot) and TE Ladarius Green (ankle) both practiced fully Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is a poor matchup for both, pushing the normally productive Rivers down to a QB2/QB3 and making Green not worth starting at all.

DAL - WR Dez Bryant feeling great

    Source: ESPNDallas.com - Jean-Jacques Taylor

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant said he finally put in a full practice Thursday, Dec. 3, since his toe injury. 'I'll tell you this. This is the best I've felt since I've been back. I'm still getting better and moving better. I'm more confident,' Bryant said. He has 23 catches for 280 yards and two touchdowns this year and has been held to less than 50 yards receiving in each of the last three games.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're not sure how excited we are by the offense with Tony Romo out, and Bryant is hampered because of that. We have him as a WR3 this week, though we hope he can see more of his upside than that.

SD - OC believes in RB Melvin Gordon

San Diego Chargers RB Melvin Gordon will continue to improve and showed confidence last week, according to offensive coordinator Frank Reich.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Until he does, we don't have a lot of faith in him, especially with Denver on the docket. Consider him a middling RB3 this week.

Tennessee Titans RB Dexter McCluster (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCluster was occasionally a nice upside flex play, but with him out Antonio Andrews is the guy you're stuck with and he's no more than an RB4.

PHI - QB Sam Bradford a full participant

Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford (shoulder) practiced in full for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Even if he plays—and it sure looks like he will—we wouldn't expect much from Bradford who has been inconsistent at best. He's a QB3 and a middle of the road one at that.

CHI - WR Eddie Royal absent again

    Source: NFL.com

Chicago Bears WR Eddie Royal (knee) missed practice again Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Royal likely won't play and we don't have much in the way of optimism for him even if he did. After Alshon Jeffery (as a WR1), Marquess Wilson is the only receiver we'd start and even then as no more than a WR5.

Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (shoulder) was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3.

We think Taylor plays, but even if he does, we don't expect him to be better than a QB3.

NYJ - WR Eric Decker, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick practice

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (knee) and QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (thumb) both practiced in full for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Decker and Brandon Marshall are having tremendous seasons, especially considering their quarterback situation isn't ideal. Marshall is a WR1/WR2 this week while Decker is a rock solid WR2 with upside. Fitzpatrick is actually a decent QB2 start this weekend, as the Giants secondary has a lot of issues.

CHI - WR Marquess Wilson out Thursday

    Source: ESPNChicago.com - Jeff Dickerson

Chicago Bears WR Marquess Wilson (foot) is out of practice Thursday, Dec. 3, with a foot injury that head coach John Fox said occurred on the last play of practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wilson played well two weeks ago, but our expectations aren't that high—even against the 49ers. Start him as a decent WR5 if you need someone as a fill-in due to injury or in deep leagues.

NYJ - WR Brandon Marshall limited Thursday

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets WR Brandon Marshall (toe, ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets could have a pair of 1,000 yard receivers, both with over 10 touchdowns by the end of the season which nobody would have predicted this summer. Marshall has to have a big game this weekend against the crosstown (or cross-New Jersey) Giants, whose secondary is a mess. Marshall should put up WR1/WR2 numbers this weekend as the Giants really don't have anyone who can hang with him.

TB - WR Vincent Jackson idle again

    Source: NFL.com

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson (knee) was out of practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3, but he said he feels good and that his knee is strong. Jackson is confident that he'll be good to go in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll keep an eye on this, as he has WR3 potential against Atlanta this weekend. Hopefully this is just a veteran's day off.

NYJ - CB Darrelle Revis looks unlikely

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis (concussion) is unlikely to play the New York Giants in Week 13, according to head coach Todd Bowles.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Of course, this hurts the Jets in their defensive efforts against Odell Beckham Jr, though how much is up for debate as Revis has certainly looked human this year. Beckham is absolutely a WR1 and you know the Giants will have to lean on him. Regardless of who covers him (and how much safety help that person gets) you should be confident starting one of the best young wideouts in the NFL.

CIN - TE Tyler Eifert to be questionable?

    Source: NFL.com - Dan Hanzus

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (neck) is questionable 'at best' for Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns after he missed practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

As reported before, missing practice is a concern for a guy who should have TE1 value this weekend. We'll keep an eye on this and hope he's back in the saddle tomorrow.

JAX - WR Allen Hurns still out Thursday

Source: The Associated Press - Mark Long

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol Thursday, Dec. 3, and won't practice.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Allen Robinson is the last Allen standing, so he's the guy you go with here. Hurns will hopefully be back the week after. For now, start Robinson as a WR2.

Jeffery looks good to go this weekend, so expect him to torch San Francisco and start him as a WR1.

    Saturday Update

ARI - RB Andre Ellington will not play

    Source: NFL.com

Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington (toe) has been ruled out for the Week 13 game against the St. Louis Rams.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

David Johnson will get most of the work this week in the backfield with Stepfan Taylor and Kerwynn Williams helping.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (neck) is listed as doubtful for Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Look for Jeremy Hill or perhaps AJ Green to get more scoring opportunities with Eifert sidelined. The tight end had three scores in the first matchup with Cleveland.

ARI - RB David Johnson could have heavy workload

Source: FOX Sports Radio 910 - Mike Jurecki

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson is almost a must start because he can score on big plays as a runner or receiver and he should also get goal line carries.

KC - TE Travis Kelce expected to play

    Source: NFL

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (groin) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 4, and is listed as probable for the Week 13 game against the Oakland Raiders.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kelce should be a top tight end play against the top tight end matchup for fantasy football. The Raiders have allowed 11 tight end touchdowns in 11 games.

TB - Friday injury report for Week 13

    Source: NFL

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE George Johnson (calf) and DE Jacquies Smith (hamstring) are out for Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons. LB Bruce Carter (concussion) and DT Gerald McCoy (hand) are doubtful. OT Gosder Cherilus (knee) and TE Luke Stocker (back) are questionable, while C Joe Hawley (neck), CB Mike Jenkins (quadriceps), OG Ali Marpet (ankle) and S Keith Tandy (concussion) are probable. Johnson and Smith didn't practice Friday, Dec. 4. Carter, Cherilus and McCoy were limited, while the others practiced in full.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Atlanta has a great chance to move the ball through the air with Smith and McCoy out. They are in free fall heading to Tampa but they have caught a break with these Tampa defensive line injuries.

Quinn, Donnal and Johnson did not practice Friday, Dec. 4, while Havenstein was a full participant.

James and Mitchell missed practice Friday, Dec. 4. Pouncey was limited, while the others practiced in full.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

    Sunday Update

DAL - WR Dez Bryant probable

    Source: DallasCowboys.com

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (foot, knee) practiced in full Saturday, Dec. 5, and is listed as probable for Week 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

There will be plenty of fantasy owners and even some DFS players who will be counting on Bryant on Monday night against Washington. We like him as a WR2 with upside--even with Matt Cassel at QB again for the Cowboys.

CHI - RB Matt Forte not returning?

    Source: NFL.com - Chris Wesseling

Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte has not been offered a contract extension yet, and Forte said it doesn't really look like he'll be receiving one. Forte said he'll be satisfied whether he enters free agency or stays in Chicago.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We can't see Forte sticking around in Chicago. His future with the team was already uncertain at the start of this season. Then he gets hurt and rookie Jeremy Langford impressed in relief duty. Going into next season, we think Langford will be the Bears lead running back.

WAS - WR DeSean Jackson still probable

    Source: Redskins.com

Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (illness) did not practice Saturday, Dec. 5, due to an illness, but he is still probable for Week 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

At least we now know why Jackson missed practice on Saturday. The Cowboys face Washington on Monday night. We like Jackson as a WR3 with upside in Week 13.

SF - TE Vance McDonald should see more time

    Source: ESPN.com - Paul Gutierrez

San Francisco 49ers TE Vance McDonald should receive more playing time against the Chicago Bears in Week 13 since TE Garrett Celek (ankle) has been ruled out.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We've seen that since QB Blaine Gabbert has been inserted as the starter, the tight end position has been heavily targeted. McDonald is a sneaky TE2 for fantasy owners out there looking for some punch.

NYG - RB Rashad Jennings not posting big stats

Source: New York Daily News - Kevin Armstrong

New York Giants RB Rashad Jennings has not rushed for more than 63 yards in any game this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jennings simply isn't getting used as much as he should. The Giants have not figured out their RB situation at all this season, and it makes guys like Jennings, Shane Vereen, Orleans Darkwa and Andre Williams all poor fantasy plays. Jennings is averaging about 22 snaps per game this year, and the most carries he's received in a single game this season a whopping (sarcasm) 13 totes. Avoid this situation.

CHI - Chicago RBs to split the reps

Source: Chicago Tribune - Rich Campbell

Chicago Bears RBs Matt Forte and Jeremy Langford are expected to split carries in the Week 13 game against the San Francisco 49ers. Offensive coordinator Adam Gase said Friday, Dec. 4, that he'd like to have a near-even split of the touches between the two. 'We can keep them fresh and we should only get better from here on out and those guys will get in the flow of it,' Gase said.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy owners need to monitor this split going forward. At home against the 49ers defense (who consistently performs poorly on the road), we like Forte as a low-end RB2 with upside. Langford is more of a low-end RB3/flex play with upside.

Just when Floyd showed some flashes of living up to the hype of his talent level, he gets hurt again.

The guy could be top 10-20 WR if he could stay healthy.

    Monday Update

STL - RB Todd Gurley gets just nine touches

    Source: The Associated Press

St. Louis Rams RB Todd Gurley carried nine times for a team-best 41 yards in the Week 13 game against the Arizona Cardinals. He did not have any receptions or targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's fair to ask if you should have questions about Gurley next week against a resurgent Lions defense. The talent is obvious but the trend going against Gurley has been troubling.

STL - QB Case Keenum to start Week 14

Source: St. Louis Post-Dispatch - Jim Thomas

St. Louis Rams QB Case Keenum (concussion) will make the start in Week 14 against the Detroit Lions, head coach Jeff Fisher said Sunday, Dec. 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It probably won't make much difference against the Lions unless they lost their nerve after Aaron Rodgers' miraculous hail mary.

ARI - RB Kerwynn Williams finds the end zone

    Source: The Associated Press

Arizona Cardinals RB Kerwynn Williams rushed six times for 59 yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 game against the St. Louis Rams.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Williams got at least 15 yards on each of his first three carries, and ran with great burst and pace. He'll be the back to own if David Johnson goes down or loses Bruce Arians' confidence.

ARI - RB David Johnson totals 120 yards, TD

    Source: The Associated Press

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson rushed 22 times for 99 yards in the Week 13 game against the St. Louis Rams. He added two receptions for 21 yards and a touchdowns on three targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson had a red zone fumble, but atoned for it for a nice red zone reception for a score. He'll be the lead back and a low RB1 start in Week 14 on Thursday against Minnesota.

ARI - WR John Brown, WR Michael Floyd hit 100

    Source: The Associated Press

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) posted six receptions for 113 yards in the Week 13 game against the St. Louis Rams, and WR Michael Floyd (hamstring) posted seven grabs for 104 yards on a team-high 12 targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Brown reeled in a deep ball late to make his fantasy day, but it's clear that with everyone healthy in the wide receiver core, it's going to be harder to predict the production of each Cardinals pass catcher. Arizona will play Minnesota at home on Thursday.

DEN - RB C.J. Anderson checks out of game

    Source: DenverBroncos.com - Andrew Mason

Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson (ankle) rolled his ankle in the Week 12 game against the San Diego Chargers and he was unable to return.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Juwan Thompson was solid in Anderson's stead. It looks like Ronnie Hillman's workload won't change if Anderson can't go against Oakland next week.

CHI - QB Jay Cutler throws pick six in loss

Source: The Associated Press - Andrew Seligman

Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler was 18 of 31 for 202 yards and a touchdown in a 26-20 overtime loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He also threw a pick-six to 49ers SS Jimmie Ward.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cutler was cold in this one against a San Francisco defense that had been very easy to solve on the road. Next week's Washington matchup looks good on paper too, but Cutler will be hard to trust.

CHI - RB Matt Forte has solid comeback

Source: The Associated Press - Andrew Seligman

Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte ran 21 times for 84 yards and scored a touchdown in his team's 26-20 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Dec. 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Forte didn't quite take the backfield back over, but he got rolling in the first half and was fed more than Jeremy Langford in a good sign heading into a do-or-die game against Washington.

SF - QB Blaine Gabbert has fantastic finish

Source: The Associated Press - Andrew Seligman

San Francisco 49ers QB Blaine Gabbert ran for the tying touchdown and then threw a 71-yard bomb to WR Torrey Smith in overtime to give his team a 26-20 win over the Chicago Bears. Gabbert was 18 of 32 for 196 yards in the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gabbert had a long scramble for a touchdown to send the game to overtime. He wasn't very effective on the day, but his two big plays accounted for a very good fantasy day in spite of that.

CLE - QB Austin Davis can't power offense

Source: The Associated Press - Tom Withers

Cleveland Browns QB Austin Davis accounted for 231 yards in his first start Sunday, Dec. 6, as the Browns lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 37-3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnny Manziel could get another shot yet. In Davis's defense, Travis Benjamin went out early with a shoulder injury, leaving Brian Hartline as the #1 receiver. San Francisco comes to Cleveland next week.

CIN - WR A.J. Green over 100 yards again

Source: The Associated Press - Tom Withers

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green caught five passes for 128 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown, as the Bengals downed the Cleveland Browns 37-3.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green was red hot early, going over 100 yards on his first three catches. After the game was put away, the Bengals didn't need to pass more, or else Green would have had a massive day.

CIN - QB Andy Dalton scores three TDs

Source: The Associated Press - Tom Withers

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton passed for two touchdowns and ran for a third on Sunday, Dec. 6, in a 37-3 win over the Cleveland Browns. He passed for 220 yards and only had five incompletions among 19 passes.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dalton was highly efficient against a Browns defense that might as well be a practice scout team at this point. Dalton faces the Steelers next week, while Blaine Gabbert will get to face the Browns defense.

BUF - WR Sammy Watkins continues strong play

    Source: The Associated Press

Buffalo Bills WR Sammy Watkins caught three passes for 109 yards and one touchdown against the Houston Texans in Week 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Watkins only needs to get loose a couple of times in a game to have a nice fantasy day if Tyrod Taylor is dialed in with the deep ball. The duo is hot right now and making it hard to bench Watkins.

BUF - RB LeSean McCoy rushes for over 100 yards

    Source: The Associated Press

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy rushed for 112 yards on 21 carries against the Houston Texans in Week 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCoy left briefly with a concussion scare, but he still had a solid day even though the Bills offensive line was down two starters. He's an RB1 heading to Philadelphia next week.

BUF - QB Tyrod Taylor scores four TDs

    Source: The Associated Press

Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor went 11-for-21 for 211 yards and three touchdowns against the Houston Texans in Week 13. He also rushed for 28 yards and one touchdown on seven carries.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Taylor was efficient throwing deep and ran aggressively in the red zone to make a big fantasy day out of limited opportunity. He'll face a declining Eagles defense next week.

HOU - QB Brian Hoyer plays well in Week 13

    Source: The Associated Press

Houston Texans QB Brian Hoyer went 26-for-43 for 293 yards, three touchdowns and one interception against the Buffalo Bills in Week 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hoyer has been a good fantasy quarterback first on volume, then on efficiency, and now back to volume as the Texans will host New England next week in a game that is likely to force Hoyer to pass a ton again.

MIN - RB Adrian Peterson held in check

    Source: The Associated Press

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson rushed for 18 yards on eight carries against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Vikings offense was easily stifled by the Seahawks, who had been vulnerable against Pittsburgh and Arizona in recent weeks. They have to turn around and play at Arizona on Thursday. We'll start Peterson, but this game raises the spectre of a very low floor if the Vikings fall behind early.

SEA - Thomas Rawls continues strong play

    Source: The Associated Press

Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rawls has run hot for basically his entire rookie year. He'll face a stiff Ravens run defense, but one that was pierced for over 100 by Lamar Miller today.

SEA - QB Russell Wilson accounts for four TDs

    Source: The Associated Press

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson went 21-for-27 for 274 and three touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. Wilson also rushed for 51 yards and one touchdown on nine carries.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wilson is as hot as he has been in his whole career and the Ravens poor pass defense is up next. He's one of the three or five best fantasy quarterbacks heading into the playoffs.

IND - QB Andrew Luck could return in Week 15

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay said he believes QB Andrew Luck (kidney) could return to action in Week 15's game against the Houston Texans. In a worst-case scenario, he would return versus the Miami Dolphins in Week 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Luck vs. a Miami team that has nothing to play for in Week 16 with Week 15 under his belt to knock off some rust is a very enticing championship play. He's worth picking back up on this news if he was dropped.

You gave a serious response to a sarcastic question.

Check out a long thread here proclaiming Gabbert one of the best quarterback in the game, I peed myself laughing so hard at some of the posts.
