NFL Player News - Week 12

    Courtesy of Footballguys.com

BAL - QB Joe Flacco has extensive knee damage

    Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (knee) said he tore the anterior and medial collateral ligaments in his knee in Week 11, although he has yet to have an MRI exam. Flacco is expected to miss the rest of the year, and it'll be the first time he has missed a game since being drafted in 2008. Flacco had started 122 straight games, which was the fifth-longest streak in NFL history.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Horrible news for the Ravens here. Flacco's knee may not be ready by the time training camp starts next year. That means he could start the season on the shelf, and possibly on the PUP list. In the meantime, the Ravens will trudge through the rest of this season with Matt Schaub as their starter.

DEN - WR Emmanuel Sanders has high-ankle sprain

Source: The Denver Post - Cameron Wolfe
Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is dealing with a high-ankle sprain. Sanders hopes to play in Week 12, and added that Monday, Nov. 23, was the first day he didn't limp since suffering the injury. Sanders will be evaluated Wednesday, Nov. 25, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

High-ankle sprains can linger if not given enough time to heal. The Broncos are taking it easy on Sanders with the idea that he can perhaps be available against the Patriots in Week 12. If Sanders doesn't play, then we'd see more from Cody Latimer again.

SEA - RB Marshawn Lynch visiting with specialist

    Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle

Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (abdomen) is traveling to meet with a specialist Monday, Nov. 23, after sitting out with an abdominal injury in Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

There is fear that he's dealing with a sports hernia, which would require surgery and keep him out for the rest of the regular season. The Seahawks had planned to have Lynch visit with a specialist even before he missed the last game. If by some miracle Thomas Rawls is out there, then pick him up.

CAR - QB Cam Newton makes history

    Source: NFL Network

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton is the first player in NFL history to throw 100 touchdowns and rush for 25 touchdowns in his first five NFL seasons.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Newton is a strong candidate for league MVP. We love watching what he's doing this year.

CHI - RB Matt Forte with limited practice

    Source: ChicagoBears.com
Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte (knee) was limited in practice Monday, Nov. 23. However, the Bears didn't actually practice Monday, so Forte's designation is an estimation.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Bears play on Thanksgiving against the Packers. The game is at Lambeau, so getting Forte back would boost the Bears offense. With the way that Jeremy Langford has played, we could see Forte get used a bit less than his normal workload (if he plays) against the Packers.

NYJ - QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will start

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will remain the starter in Week 12 against the Miami Dolphins, according to head coach Todd Bowles.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The team needs to get back on the winning track, and Fitzpatrick is still going to be their leader. If Fitzpatrick struggles and the team can't win going forward, then perhaps we'd see Geno Smith inserted as the starter.

DEN - Two players will be evaluated

Source: The Denver Post - Cameron Wolfe

Denver Bronocs DE DeMarcus Ware (back) and OG Evan Mathis (hamstring) will be evaluated Wednesday, Nov. 25, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Getting Ware back for the game against Tom Brady and the Patriots in Week 12 would be huge. Mathis was a "name" signing for the Broncos back in training camp, but the veteran has not played well this season.

BAL - RB Justin Forsett should be ready for '16

    Source: WNST

Baltimore Ravens RB Justin Forsett (arm) should return for the offseason program in 2016, according to head coach John Harbaugh. There are no concerns for his long-term availability.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That's the silver lining here. Forsett emerged last year as a quality starter for the Ravens, and now we'll have to wait to see him in 2016.

HOU - QB Brian Hoyer will start

    Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans QB Brian Hoyer (concussion) will start in Week 12 after passing his final concussion test, according to head coach Bill O'Brien.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

T.J. Yates goes back to the bench. Hoyer isn't a great starter in standard leagues, but he passes the ball at an incredible rate (and has DeAndre Hopkins) so that makes him a startable option in 2QB/QB-flex leagues.

NYJ - WR Devin Smith draws ire of coach

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets WR Devin Smith had four targets and no catches in the Week 11 loss to the Houston Texans, and head coach Todd Bowles was not happy with Smith afterwards. 'Our rookies have got to stop being rookies,' Bowles said when asked about Smith. 'They need to grow up. They get paid like everybody else and they've got to start acting like they're not in college anymore.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Smith was a deep target at Ohio State, and he's got the speed to get by defenders. However, he was also known for dropping plenty of passes. It seems like that inconsistency has carried over to the pros.

SD - QB Philip Rivers has worst game

Source: The Kansas City Star - Terez A. Paylor

San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers was 19-for-30 for a season-low 178 yards passing in the team's Week 11 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's rock bottom for the Chargers after they lost to the Chiefs 33-3 at home on Sunday. We'll see how they bounce back--if they can bounce back--this week against the Jaguars (in Jacksonville).

PHI - RB Ryan Mathews out of practice

Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane

Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews (concussion) is in the concussion protocol and out of practice Monday, Nov. 23.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He'll need to be cleared before he can return to action. The Eagles play on Thanksgiving against the Lions.

PHI - TE Zach Ertz has short week

Source: The Delaware County Times - Bob Grotz

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (concussion) is in the concussion protocol, and his status is uncertain for Week 12 Thursday, Nov. 26. He has been cleared for meetings.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If Ertz can't play on Thanksgiving against the Lions, then we'll see more of Brent Celek.

DEN - QB Peyton Manning to change uniforms?

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning (foot) is 'absolutely determined' to get himself healthy, a source with knowledge of the situation said Sunday, Nov. 22. Manning firmly believes he will be able to play again this season. In addition, he currently intends to play in 2016, even if it will not be with the Broncos, the source said.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This 'report' has been refuted by reliable local reporters. According to guys on the beat, Manning is only focused on returning this season and is not thinking of next year. The Broncos won and looked good with Brock Osweiler as their starter. We could see Osweiler earn more starts with his performance. Osweiler actually runs the true Kubiak offense, and he didn't turn the ball over. Week 11 was the first time the Broncos didn't turn the ball over in 2015.

GB - WR James Jones breaks out of slump

    Source: The Associated Press

Green Bay Packers WR James Jones had six catches for 109 yards and a touchdown in a 30-13 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jones had a sideline touchdown catch and Aaron Rodgers was at his best throwing to his most experienced receiver. He's back in play as a boom/bust WR3/Flex on Thanksgiving against the Bears.

GB - RB Eddie Lacy show signs of life

    Source: The Associated Press

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy had 22 carries for a season-high 100 yards and one catch for six yards in a 30-13 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Lacy was back, running over tacklers and dragging them for extra yards. He's a good play against the weak Bears run defense on Thanksgiving.

Chicago is a surging team. Would have beat Denver in OT if they could have made that 2 point conversion. I would look for Forte to have a big day. They will want to get him the ball on some screens

    Wednesday Update

BUF - QB Tyrod Taylor has shoulder injury

    Source: NFL.com

Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (shoulder) is dealing with a shoulder injury, and head coach Rex Ryan expects Taylor to be able to play in Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Watching Taylor at the end of the Monday night game was painful. It was clear that his shoulder was bothering him, but he was able to stay in the game and try to make a comeback. Watch his practice status during the week.

CLE - QB Johnny Manziel benched

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel will serve as the Browns' No. 3 quarterback in Week 12. QB Josh McCown will start.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Just when Manziel was going to get an opportunity in prime time on Monday night against the Ravens. A video surfaced of Manziel partying during the team's bye week, and that was enough for the team to take him out. We'd be shocked if he's with the Browns next season.

PHI - TE Zach Ertz will not play

Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (concussion) will not play Thursday, Nov. 26, against the Detroit Lions as he will still be in the concussion protocol.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Get ready for plenty of Brent Celek on Thanksgiving. Season-long fantasy players should consider Celek a TE2 with upside this week. DFS players should look at Celek as a cheap option so they can stack talent at other positions.

PHI - Chip Kelly may not return

    Source: SIRIUS NFL Radio

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly may not return as head coach of the Eagles next year, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com. Schefter said momentum and signs seem to be piling up against a Kelly return to Philadelphia.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kelly was a bold hire by the Eagles, but it just hasn't worked out for him. It wouldn't be a surprise to see the team move on unless they can somehow make a deep run in the postseason.

BAL - QB Joe Flacco placed on IR

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 24, with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a torn medial collateral ligament. Free-agent QB Jimmy Clausen (Bears) was subsequently claimed.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A sad way for Flacco to end his 2015 season. The team will ease him back into action next year, and his status for the start of next season is up in the air at this time. Clausen worked with OC Marc Trestman last year when the two were with the Bears. He'll provide the team with valuable veteran depth behind new starter Matt Schaub.

PHI - QB Sam Bradford out of concussion protocol

Source: The Delaware County Times - Bob Grotz

Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford (concussion, shoulder) cleared the concussion protocol Tuesday, Nov. 24, but it's unknown if he'll start Thursday, Nov. 26.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Eagles play on Thanksgiving against the Lions, and Bradford could be the team's starter. Mark Sanchez did a poor job last week, so the team will likely go to Bradford the moment he's ready.

DEN - QB Peyton Manning out at least two weeks

    Source: DenverBroncos.com - Andrew Mason

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning (foot, ribs) will miss at least the next two weeks as he continues to recover from a partially torn plantar fascia and a rib injury, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. Manning will still be able to participate in workouts and be a part of team meetings, but his foot will also be in a cast for at least a week.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This makes Brock Osweiler the starter during that time..and perhaps even longer. Osweiler performed well against the Bears in Week 11. It will be a tougher test for him against the Patriots at home in Week 12.

DET - TE Eric Ebron staying optimistic

Source: Detroit Free Press - Dave Birkett

Detroit Lions TE Eric Ebron said his recent struggles will end this week. Ebron did not catch a pass last week against the Oakland Raiders and has only totaled seven catches for 52 yards the last three weeks.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ebron has plenty of natural talent, but he needs to start playing more consistently and produce. We have a feeling Ebron will always be the player remembered as "the guy taken instead of Odell Beckham" no matter how he does.

JAX - QB Blake Bortles could set team records

    Source: ESPN.com - Mike DiRocco

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles is on pace to break the Jaguars' single-season record for touchdown passes and passing yards.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bortles has looked good in certain matchups, but he's still got some things to work on. We're encouraged by his progress this year as a passer, but we'd like to see him become a little more aggressive as time goes on. Right now, he's a pure-sight thrower most of the time. We'd like him to show better anticipation when leading receivers in the future.

JAX - WR Allen Robinson has record in sight

    Source: ESPN.com - Mike DiRocco

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Robinson is on pace to break the Jaguars' single-season record for receiving touchdowns.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He currently has seven touchdowns. Robinson is also on pace to achieve the second-most receiving yards in a single season by a Jacksonville receiver.

BUF - RB LeSean McCoy succeeding in Buffalo

    Source: FOXSports.com

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy already has more rushing yards in 2015 (610) than Buffalo's leading rusher, Seattle Seahawks RB Fred Jackson, did last year (525), and McCoy has only played in eight games this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCoy has been productive when healthy this year. The team is using him as a workhorse, and McCoy has been responding. He's a set-it-and-forget-it starter every week.

STL - QB Case Keenum sits Tuesday

    Source: ESPN.com - Nick Wagoner

St. Louis Rams QB Case Keenum (concussion) did not participate in the Rams' light practice Tuesday, Nov. 24, but could participate Wednesday, Nov. 25, according to head coach Jeff Fisher.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It was embarrassing that Keenum was allowed to keep playing on Sunday when he was clearly concussed. We'll know more about his status later in the week.

DEN - Denver used more two-TE sets

    Source: NFL.com - Chris Wesseling

The Denver Broncos used multiple tight end sets on 83.8% of their Week 11 plays with QB Brock Osweiler under center as opposed to using three-wide receiver sets 60% of the time with QB Peyton Manning playing. TE Vernon Davis was more involved as a result, and the Broncos ground game was successful.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Keep this in mind when considering Davis or Daniels for your fantasy lineup. Both are TE2s with upside in Week 12 against the Patriots.

CLE - More targets for TE Gary Barnidge?

    Source: ESPN Stats and Information

Cleveland Browns TE Gary Barnidge has been targeted on 17% of his routes with QB Josh McCown and just 9% of his routes with QB Johnny Manziel. McCown will start in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We can trust Barnidge as a TE1 now that McCown is the starter. Get him in your lineup for some Monday-night punch against the Ravens.

CHI - RB Matt Forte, WR Alshon Jeffery expected to play

    Source: Chicago Sun-Times - Adam L. Jahns

Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte (knee) and WR Alshon Jeffery (groin) are both expected to suit up in Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers Thursday, Nov. 26. Both players said they were feeling fine after practice Tuesday, Nov. 24.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Both players missed the Week 11 game against the Broncos with the idea they could be ready for Week 12. Against the Packers, Forte is a RB2 and Jeffery is a WR3/flex for fantasy owners.

NE - WR Aaron Dobson should miss Week 12

    Source: CSNNE.com - Tom E. Curran

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots WR Aaron Dobson (ankle) is expected to miss at least Week 12 with an ankle injury, and possibly more time. Dobson's X-rays were negative, though.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dobson was unlikely to do much against the Broncos anyway. The Patriots receiving corps is incredibly banged up heading into a matchup on the road against a strong Broncos defense.

CAR - Full practice for WR Ted Ginn

    Source: Panthers.com

Carolina Panthers WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) practiced in full Tuesday, Nov. 24, after being limited Monday, Nov. 23.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We've got Ginn as a WR5/flex play against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

NE - WR Danny Amendola has knee sprain

    Source: CSNNE.com - Tom E. Curran

New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (knee) suffered a knee sprain in a Week 11 win over the Buffalo Bills. He is not expected to miss extended time, though.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's a problem for the Patriots as they travel to face a tough Broncos defense in Week 12. Amendola may not play in this upcoming contest. His status will depend on how he reacts to treatment and an increased workload as the week progresses.

GB - WR Davante Adams limited in practice

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (ankle) was limited in practice Tuesday, Nov. 24, for the second straight day.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We've got Adams as a WR4/flex play this week against the Bears.

DEN - QB Brock Osweiler has tall task

Source: The Denver Post - Troy E. Renck

Denver Broncos QB Brock Osweiler took 52 of 69 offensive snaps in Week 11 under center, and he didn't turn the ball over once. He'll be facing a New England Patriots defense in Week 12 that has given up an NFL-low 182 points this year, and they are allowing just 14 points per game in their last four contests. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is 11-4 against rookie quarterbacks in his career.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That's great and all, but Osweiler is not a rookie. The fourth-year quarterback has been patiently waiting for his opportunity to start, and he looked good against the Bears last week. It will be a far greater challenge against the Patriots in Week 12. Osweiler was sacked five times against a Bears team who does not get after the passer regularly. He'll need to make quicker decisions against the Patriots.

SF - QB Colin Kaepernick has surgery

    Source: CSNBayArea.com - Matt Maiocco

San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick (shoulder) had surgery to fix a torn labrum in his left shoulder Tuesday, Nov. 24, and he is expected to need a recovery time of four to six months, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

There's no telling whether or not Kaepernick will be back with the 49ers next year. At this time, his future with the team seems to be in doubt.

PHI - RB Ryan Mathews out Tuesday

    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews (concussion) is still in the concussion protocol Tuesday, Nov. 24, and remains out of practice.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With a game coming up on Thursday, things don't look good for Mathews. He missed the game on Sunday with this concussion, and the fact that he's not cleared yet means we might see him shut down again on Thanksgiving. Without Mathews, DeMarco Murray would see a larger workload and the team could use more of Darren Sproles as well.

    Thursday Update

BUF - QB Tyrod Taylor says he'll play

Source: Rochester Democrat and Chronicle - Sal Maiorana

Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (shoulder) said he will play in Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Taylor toughed it out against the Patriots on Monday night, and now he'll lead the Bills as they travel to take on the Chiefs in Week 12. Against that defense on the road, we can only recommend Taylor as a QB2.

KC - Charcandrick West sits Wednesday

    Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (hamstring) is out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 25.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If West doesn't practice on Friday, then the team could turn to Spencer Ware as their lead back. We like Ware's all-purpose ability, and he would be a RB2/flex option if West is out.

CHI - TE Martellus Bennett out for Week 12

Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett (ribs) has been ruled out for Week 12 Thursday, Nov. 26.

This means more Zach Miller. Bennett has been disappointing in recent weeks, and this injury might linger for a bit.

Thomas Rawls takes over as the starter with Lynch down for a month or so. He's a RB1 for your fantasy team every week. The hope is that Lynch is able to return to full health by late December.

    ARI - Three Cardinals limited

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It should be a nice week for the Cardinals offense. Make sure any of these three are in your lineup this week against the 49ers.

Denver Broncos TE Owen Daniels (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Daniels was featured a lot more last week, and that could continue going forward so long as Brock Osweiler is the starting QB. Daniels and Vernon Davis are both TE2s with upside in Week 12.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (knee) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (abdomen, kidney) is confident that he will play again this year, but a timetable for his return at this point is tough to gauge.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy owners shouldn't hold their breath waiting for Luck to return. He said he's feeling much better than he was the week after he suffered his injury, and he's starting to do more rehab work.

NO - RB Mark Ingram's injury not a concern

    Source: ESPN.com - Mike Triplett

New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram's (shoulder) injury isn't expected to be a major concern after resting last week during the bye. It's unclear, however, if his shoulder injury is the same one that limited him in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We like Ingram this week as a borderline RB1 against the Texans in Week 12.

Atlanta Falcons WR Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) is still bothered by a hamstring strain, and the Falcons may continue to take their time with his injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

They won't rush him along, and fantasy owners need to have other options at the ready. Hankerson previously missed two games because of the injury before returning in Week 11.

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (knee) and QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (thumb) were both full participants in practice Wednesday, Nov. 25.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A good sign for both in Week 12. We have Decker as a WR2 with upside, while Fitzpatrick is only a QB to consider starting in 2QB/QB-flex leagues against the Dolphins.

MIA - WR Jarvis Landry sits out of practice

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 25, but head coach Dan Campbell said Landry was just being rested.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Landry has 63 catches for 651 yards with five touchdowns this year. In PPR leagues, Landry has scored the 11th-most fantasy points of any wide receiver so far in 2015. He's a WR2 for most fantasy owners.

    Source: Giants.com

New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks is learning the team's offense in practice but said the task hasn't been that tough. He said he has worked with both the scout team and the offense during practice.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It shouldn't take Nicks long to get up to speed since he's back with his old team. He's already got strong chemistry with QB Eli Manning. Both Manning and WR Odell Beckham Jr. said that Nicks has looked good in practice.

    Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions TE Eric Ebron (quadriceps, hand) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 25, but he is probable to face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12 Thursday, Nov. 26.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ebron should play, and he thinks he's going to break out of his recent funk. We can't recommend him as more than a low-end TE2 in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With Peyton Manning out for the next few weeks (at least), the team needed veteran depth behind Brock Osweiler. Ponder will start out as the team's No. 3 quarterback until he learns the offense. Rookie QB Trevor Siemian will back up Osweiler for now.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford (concussion, shoulder) is a long shot to play Thursday, Nov. 26, against the Detroit Lions.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews (concussion) is officially out for Week 12 Thursday, Nov. 26.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mathews is still in the concussion protocol. Without him on the field, we'll see more from DeMarco Murray and Darren Sproles. We like Murray as a RB1 this week, and Sproles is well worth a flex play in PPR leagues.

CAR - WR Ted Ginn probable

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ginn could haul in a deep target...and maybe a touchdown this week against the Cowboys. He's also still a dangerous return man. Consider him a WR5 or 'what the heck' flex on Thanksgiving.

DAL - QB Tony Romo Feared To Be Out For Season
    Source: ESPN
While X-rays on Romo's reinjured left collarbone were inconclusive Thursday and the Cowboys have planned more tests for Friday, the quarterback is "done for the season," a source close to Romo told ESPN's Ed Werder.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That cracking sound you just heard wasn't just his shoulder, but the Dallas season breaking. Matt Cassel is adequate but he's not a top shelf option. This could hurt Dez Bryant as well as the rest of the offense going forward as well.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That's a blow to fantasy owners again this week as Freeman would have had a solid day against Minnesota. Tevin Coleman will step in this week and becomes a borderline RB2/RB3 play if Freeman is out.

DEN - QB Peyton Manning out at least three weeks
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning (foot) will be out at least three weeks as his foot is in a cast for the next 10 days. He'll need at least a week of rehab after that.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
So we've got three weeks of Brock Osweiler, or as some might call it "Brock and Roll." We liked what we saw from him last weekend, but are not all that enthused by what he might be able to do against New England. Despite a banged up defense, the Patriots have been holding their own against offenses and the Broncos are likely to run the ball a lot again to protect their young quarterback. He's no more than a QB3 this week and his value will go up and down while Manning is out.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dallas Cowboys RB Darren McFadden rushed for 11 yards on 10 carries against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12. He also caught four passes for 45 yards during the game.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The offense was a mess and the Cowboys fell so far behind so quickly that of course they stopped running the ball. The hope is that with Cassel starting, McFadden will get more opportunity because they need to support Cassel with a solid run game.

    Source: The Associated Press
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (clavicle) went 11-for-21 for 106 yards and three interceptions against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 before he left with his clavicle injury.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It was a brutal day before the injury. Romo didn't look right and Carolina brought a lot of pressure. Things are looking grim for Dallas and this offense without Romo, despite the poor game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hoyer is the guy to watch, as he should be a solid QB2 with upside. He could be a steal in daily fantasy as well, as his price is low and the Saints are prone to allowing lots of points and shootouts these days.

New Orleans Saints WR Willie Snead (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 26.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Snead has produced well for most of the year but inconsistently. He has a chance to put up huge numbers in any shootout—of which there have been many lately—but can just as easily disappear. Start him as a borderline WR3/WR4 and you should get at least that production and anything more is gravy.

We might actually see him, and he could see some TE2 production against Indianapolis, who is a great matchup for a passing offense. We love his potential but he hasn't played in a long time, so you cannot trust him as more than a TE2 even with Jameis Winston going off.

If he plays, we could see Hurns as a solid WR4 but we know he is capable of more. He has scored a touchdown in seven out of ten games. It's not something you can count on with his leg and foot injuries but if you're looking for a play with upside, Hurns might be it.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We don't expect to see Floyd, but Green will be on the field. With Antonio Gates there, he won't see a ton of action but you also have to consider how many receivers are hurt and think he'll see some work anyway. As a low-end TE2, Green has some value.

Eifert has been up and down the last month but is coming off a two touchdown day. The problem with Eifert is if he doesn't find the end zone, he doesn't put up very good numnbers. We think he'll get at least a touchdown this week against the Rams and that makes him a decent TE1.

Hankerson is no more than a WR5 anyway, and shouldn't be in your lineups even as a desperation play, so finding a replacement should be on his owner's agenda anyway.

DEN - WR Emmanuel Sanders limited Thursday
    Source: WEEI.com - Christopher Price
Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle, finger) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 26.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We're not expecting Sanders to play this weekend and if he does, we see no more than WR4 production coming in the game against the New England Patriots.

NE - WR Danny Amendola limited Thursday

New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 26.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Amendola had a great game as Tom Brady's Julian Edelman replacement but a second game in a row is in jeopardy. If he plays, we could see low-end WR2 numbers, but if he doesn't suit up bump up Brandon LaFell as a WR3.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday, Nov. 26.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Right now we don't expect him to play against Buffalo, which leaves Spencer Ware as the starter and we could see him producing low-end RB2 numbers.

    Saturday Update

    KC - Charcandrick West questionable

    Source: KCChiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 27, and is listed as questionable for the Week 12 game against the Buffalo Bills.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Look for Spencer Ware to get the start and most of the work in the backfield with Knile Davis backing him up against the Bills down two starting defensive linemen,

SF - WR Anquan Boldin listed as probable

    Source: 49ers.com

San Francisco 49ers WR Anquan Boldin (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 27, and is listed as probable for the Week 12 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Boldin struggled a bit with his hamstring issue last week, but was productive with Blaine Gabbert at the helm and should be again this week against his old mates. He's a high floor WR3/Flex.

SF - RB Carlos Hyde will not play

    Source: 49ers.com

San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde (foot) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 27, and has been ruled out for the Week 12 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's hard to understand why the 49ers haven't put Hyde on the shelf for the season. He's probably not worth a roster spot in most redraft leagues.

NE - New England Week 12 injury report

    Source: NFL

New England Patriots CB Justin Coleman (hand) and WR Julian Edelman (foot) have been ruled out for Week 12 against the Denver Broncos. LB Jamie Collins (illness) is doubtful. WR Keshawn Martin (hamstring) and TE Michael Williams (knee) are questionable, while DT Alan Branch (elbow), OT Marcus Cannon (toe), OG Tre Jackson (knee) and DE Chandler Jones (abdomen) are probable. Coleman and Edelman didn't practice Friday, Nov. 27. Branch, Cannon, Collins, Jackson, Jones, Martin and Williams were all limited.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Collins is still not in game shape yet after a serious bout of illness. Martin could have a big role with Edelman out, but he himself is not 100% right now.

ARI - WR John Brown, WR Larry Fitzgerald probable

    Source: NFL

Arizona Cardinals WRs John Brown (hamstring) and Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) are probable to face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Brown was limited in practice Friday, Nov. 27, while Fitzgerald practiced in full.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It sounds like Brown is in better shape than Michael Floyd and is a better play this week.

ARI - WR Michael Floyd questionable

    Source: NFL.com

Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd (hamstring) is questionable to play in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The problem here is that this is a late start. You need someone on Arizona, San Francisco, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Denver, New Orleans, Baltimore, or Cleveland to have a hedge for an inactive Floyd. He was red hot when he got hurt against Seattle and finished very strong at San Francisco last year in Week 17, so it might be worth waiting if you have a hedge.

KC - TE Travis Kelce's status in question

    Source: KCChiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (groin) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 27, and is listed as questionable for the Week 12 game against the Buffalo Bills.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kelce's injury was characterized as a "tweak", but we have to check back in on Sunday morning to be sure we have his services, and we can't be sure whether he'll be limited by the injury if he does play.

BUF - Friday injury report for Week 12

    Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills WR Marcus Easley (concussion), OG John Miller (ankle), DT Kyle Williams (knee), and DE Mario Williams (foot) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 27, and have been ruled out for the Week 12 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. DT Marcell Dareus (knee) and FS Bacarri Rambo (shoulder) were limited during practice and are listed as probable.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Williams being out is a blow to a Bills defense that will need to create turnovers or at least get the Chiefs conservative offense out of their comfort zone to have a chance this week.

ATL - RB Tevin Coleman to start Sunday

    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman will start in Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings with RB Devonta Freeman (concussion) injured. Coleman has 59 carries for 231 yards and a touchdown in limited action this year, but he also has two key fumbles in the last five games.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Coleman has been involved very little in the passing game and his fumbles could be causing the coaching staff to lost confidence in him. Expect to see a decent amount of Terron Ward tomorrow too.

CLE - QB Josh McCown takes part in practice

    Source: ClevelandBrowns.com

Cleveland Browns QB Josh McCown (ribs) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 27.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCown will get the start and should be a good play against the poor Ravens pass defense.

SD - Friday status report for Week 12

    Source: Chargers.com

San Diego Chargers OG D.J. Fluker (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 12. OT King Dunlap (ankle) is listed as doubtful. DTs Sean Lissemore (concussion) and Corey Liuget (foot) are questionable. S Jahleel Addae (concsussion), LB Manti Te'o (ankle) and S Eric Weddle (groin) are probable.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Philip Rivers will be without two of his best offensive lineman against Jacksonville. The matchup is good on paper, but the Chargers passing game has been bad on the field lately.

STL - Friday status report for Week 12

    Source: StLouisRams.com

St. Louis Rams OL Andrew Donnal (knee) has been ruled out for Week 12. CB Trumaine Johnson (thigh), DE Robert Quinn (hip, back) and OT Rob Havenstein (calf) are questionable.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Quinn didn't have much of an impact when he has played lately, so he's not a safe IDP play even if active against the Bengals.

NO - Willie Snead should play

    Source: NewOrleansSaints.com

New Orleans Saints WR Willie Snead (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 27, and is listed as probable for the Week 12 game against the Houston Texans.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Snead posted a goose egg in Week 10, which might make his owners reluctant to play him this week, but the extra rest from the bye likely served him well.

MIA - Week 12 Friday status report

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins S OT Ja'Wuan James (toe) has been ruled out for Week 12. LB Chris McCain (hip) is doubtful. LBs Jelani Jenkins (ankle), Koa Misi (abdomen), Spencer Paysinger (neck) and Kelvin Sheppard (hamstring) are questionable. S Walt Aikens (ankle), OT Branden Albert (non-injury), S Reshad Jones (pectoral) and CB Brice McCain (knee) are probable.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jason Fox has been a liability in James' place so this is bad news for the Dolphins offense. The injury issues in the linebacker corps could help Chris Ivory.

MIA - WR Jarvis Landry questionable

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (knee) is listed as questionable for Week 12 against the New York Jets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Landry is expected to play, but check back on Sunday morning for inactives just in case.

NYG - TE Larry Donnell out

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Dan Graziano

New York Giants TE Larry Donnell (neck) is out for Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Will Tye will get another start. He's not bad as desperation TE plays go this week. Washington's defense has been very vulnerable against the pass this year.

NYJ - CB Darrelle Revis ruled out

    Source: NFL.com

New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Miami Dolphins.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets defense is usually a scary proposition as an opponent, but without Revis they aren't as imposing. Rishard Matthews becomes a better play this week.

TEN - WR Kendall Wright probable

    Source: TitansOnline.com

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) practiced fully Friday, Nov. 27, and is probable for Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wright is ready to go for Sunday and should be a solid PPR play against a generous Raiders pass defense.

TB - TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins still not cleared

Source: The Tampa Tribune - Roy Cummings

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) is still not cleared for contact Friday, Nov. 27.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Looks like Cameron Brate will get another chance to play a big role against the Colts.

JAX - WR Allen Hurns probable

    Source: Jaguars.com

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (thigh, foot) was limited in practice Friday, Nov. 27, but is probable for Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hurns is a safe WR3/Flex play but it is fair to wonder if his mounting injuries are limiting his weekly upside.

ATL - RB Devonta Freeman sits Friday

    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure

Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (concussion) is out of practice Friday, Nov. 27.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tevin Coleman will get the start on Sunday, but he's a low upside RB2 with his recent performance and lack of involvement as a receiver out of the backfield.

ATL - PK Matt Bryant out again

    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure

Atlanta Falcons PK Matt Bryant (quadriceps) is out of practice Friday, Nov. 27.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Shayne Graham will be the kicker for the Falcons this weekend.

ATL - WR Leonard Hankerson working on the side

    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure

Atlanta Falcons WR Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) is working off to the side Friday, Nov. 27.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sounds like Hankerson is unlikely to go this weekend, which makes Jacob Tamme a great tight end play. When Hankerson has been out, Tamme has averaged 8-82 in two games, with a score in one of those games.

BUF - QB Tyrod Taylor throwing Friday

Source: The Buffalo News - Tyler Dunne

Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (shoulder) is throwing in practice Friday, Nov. 27, for the second consecutive day.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A banged up Taylor against a red hot Chiefs defense is not a recipe for fantasy points. Taylor will likely run less often, and have trouble opening up for deep passes.

    Sunday Update

CLE - QB Josh McCown probable

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Cleveland Browns QB Josh McCown (ribs) is listed as probable for Week 12 against the Baltimore Ravens.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We feel a lot better about the Browns offense now that McCown is the starting QB. He's a QB2 with upside on Monday night against a reeling Ravens team. WR Travis Benjamin and TE Gary Barnidge become better fantasy options with McCown on the field.

NYG - TE Larry Donnell doesn't travel

Source: New York Daily News - Ralph Vacchiano

New York Giants TE Larry Donnell (neck) did not travel with the team Saturday, Nov. 28.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Without Donnell in the lineup, we'll continue to see more from Will Tye. He had a season-high five catches for 56 yards against the Patriots in Week 10.

STL - QB Nick Foles should start

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

St. Louis Rams QB Nick Foles is expected to start in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals with QB Case Keenum (concussion) still recovering from a concussion, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Foles is not going to do much for the Rams offense. Fantasy owners should be excited by the potential of the Bengals defense in Week 12.

STL - STL signing Zach Hocker

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Free-agent PK Zach Hocker (Saints) is signing with the St. Louis Rams Saturday, Nov. 28, incase PK Greg Zuerlein (groin) is unable to play, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy owners have other choices at kicker. We're not expecting much offensive output from the Rams this week, even with Nick Foles likely back at quarterback.

DEN - TE Vernon Davis, Osweiler have chemistry

Source: The Denver Post - Cameron Wolfe

Denver Broncos TE Vernon Davis said he felt chemistry with QB Brock Osweiler from the first day he joined Denver. They were both playing with the second team at the time.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We immediately saw a difference with Osweiler at the helm last week. Davis was among the most-heavily targeted players on the roster, and Osweiler has no problem getting the ball into the hands of his playmaker. Davis is a TE2 with TE1 upside this week against the Patriots.

NE - WR Danny Amendola OUT

    Source: ESPN - Mike Reiss

New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (knee) will miss the Week 12 game against the Denver Broncos.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Without Amendola on the field, the Patriots offense will be hurting. Brandon LaFell is not a great start against the Broncos secondary. We should see plenty of Rob Gronkowski on Sunday night as he's the best receiving option for Tom Brady.

KC - RB Spencer Ware will have a role

    Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware will have a role on offense against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12 even if RB Charcandrick West (hamstring) is able to play.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Without West, we like Ware as a RB2 with upside. If West is able to play, then Ware is more of a flex play...but he still has upside.

    Monday Update

SEA - TE Jimmy Graham out for the season

    Source: SI.com - Doug Farrar

Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (knee) is out for the season due to a torn patellar tendon suffered in the Week 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He needs season-ending surgery.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is the injury that Victor Cruz still hasn't made it back on the field from since suffering it last season. Best wishes to Graham for a full recovery. We'll see how Luke Wilson fares with Graham out.

PIT - WR Antonio Brown's effectiveness limited

    Source: The Associated Press

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown posted six receptions for 55 yards in the Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks. He was targeted 12 times.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Richard Sherman was stuck to Brown all day, including a play when he and Brown got tangled up, Brown fell, and Sherman recorded an interception. Next week, he'll face a Colts defense that just kept Julio Jones quiet today,.

KC - RB Spencer Ware plays well in Week 12

    Source: The Associated Press

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware rushed for 114 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries in the team's Week 12 game against the Buffalo Bills.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ware didn't take long to bust a good run and was a hammer when the Chiefs were closing out the win. Charcandrick West could return to face Oakland next week, but Ware won't just go back to the bench with his effective power running.

    Source: Jaguars.com - John Oehser

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (concussion) was taken off the field on a stretcher after he suffered a concussion during the team's Week 12 game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hurns' injury list gets longer seemingly every week. He'll have to get through concussion protocol to play at Tennessee next week.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (stinger) left the team's Week 12 game because of a stinger.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Eifert was able to score before the injury and should be a great play next week at Cleveland if he can go. Eifert was announced a probable to return and should be okay, but we'll monitor the practice reports.

HOU - TE Ryan Griffin has best game

    Source: The Associated Press

Houston Texans TE Ryan Griffin had four catches for 72 yards and a touchdown in a 24-6 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Griffin was a player the team had some excitement about at the beginning of the season, but he suffered an MCL injury that landed him on IR-return. He looked good and is a player to track in deep dynasty leagues.

HOU - RB Alfred Blue has big game

    Source: The Associated Press

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue has 16 carries for 77 yards and a touchdown and one catch for four yards in a 24-6 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is about as good as its going to get for Blue owners this year. Next week against Buffalo is a tougher defensive matchup and Jonathan Grimes and Akeem Hunt will also have roles in the backfield.

NO - QB Drew Brees' TD streak snapped

    Source: The Associated Press

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees' 45-game streak with a passing touchdown was snapped in a 24-6 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 12. He completed 25 of 44 passes for 228 yards and an interception.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Brees and Sean Payton had never had a game together with zero touchdowns. That could be an ominous sign if this trend continues and it very well could, even should against Carolina next week.

    Source: The Associated Press

San Diego Chargers TE Antonio Gates finished with four catches for 53 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-25 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gates looked better running than he did last week and got open in the end zone the way he did in the good old days. He'll face a Denver defense that is giving it up to the tight end tonight.

SD - WR Dontrelle Inman finds the end zone

    Source: The Associated Press

San Diego Chargers WR Dontrelle Inman had five catches for 65 yards and a touchdown in a 31-25 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Inman is still getting more targets than Malcom Floyd despite Floyd's official status as a starter. He'll be good emergency depth for the playoffs in PPR leagues.

SD - Stevie Johnson stays hot

    Source: The Associated Press
San Diego Chargers WR Stevie Johnson finished with seven catches for 92 yards and a touchdown in a 31-25 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson was able to get free multiple times against the Jaguars pass defense and appears to be settling in as the most targeted receiver for Philip Rivers. He'll have a tough draw against the Broncos next week.

PIT - WR Martavis Bryant totals 80 yards, TD

    Source: The Associated Press

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant posted five receptions for 69 yards in the Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks and he added an 11-yard end-around for a touchdown.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bryant's acceleration on his end around touchdown really was otherworldly, and he barely missed another long catch that might have been a score. He's a must-start upside WR2 going forward, even if Ben Roethlisberger is out next week against the Colts.

PIT - WR Markus Wheaton has career game

    Source: The Associated Press

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Markus Wheaton posted nine receptions for a career-best 201 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wheaton ruled the field on his return to the Pacific Northwest after playing his college ball at Oregon State. The Steelers pass offense is going to find the weak spot and exploit it with their deep wide receiver corps.

PIT - Ben Roethlisberger torches Seattle pass D

Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - Ed Bouchette

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (concussion) left the Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks with two minutes left in the game and was taken to the locker room due to the concussion protocol.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If Roethlisberger had a concussion, he'll be in the concussion protocol. Stay tuned.

SEA - Thomas Rawls runs for 81 yards, TD

    Source: The Associated Press

Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls carried 21 times for 81 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He did not have any receptions and was targeted once.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rawls was running hot early, although the Steelers slowed him down as the team began to lean more on Russell Wilson's arm. He should be a good play next week against the Vikings defense that Tevin Coleman went over 100 against today.

SD - QB Philip Rivers throws four TDs

    Source: The Associated Press

San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers completed 29 of 43 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns in a 31-25 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rivers had an easy time of it against Jacksonville after he struggled to put first downs together against Kansas City last week. Next week brings a road game against the Broncos, so it might be back to our benches for him.

OAK - Tough sledding for RB Latavius Murray

    Source: The Associated Press

Oakland Raiders RB Latavius Murray carried 22 times for 59 yards and had one catch for 23 yards in a 24-21 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Murray found little room to run against an active Titans defense, but at least his offense is looking good again. Were it not for an ankle tackle, he would have scored on his reception. Keep him in your lineup against the Chiefs next week.

OAK - Seth Roberts has career day

    Source: The Associated Press

Oakland Raiders WR Seth Roberts finished with six catches for 113 yards and two scores in a 24-21 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Roberts has turned into a dangerous WR3/WR4 in a good pass offense. His speed and body control are making him a very tough matchup for nickel and dime corners while enhancing his quarterback's fantasy value.

PIT - TE Heath Miller suffers rib injury

    Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller (rib) left the Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a rib injury. He finished with five receptions for 45 yards and he was targeted six times.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Miller was predictably targeted heavily early, but he never had a chance to get into the upper fantasy reaches for Week 12 because he left in the first half. Rookie Jesse James would be called on next week against the Colts if Miller can't go.

SEA - WR Doug Baldwin hauls in three TDs

    Source: ESPN

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (ankle) posted six receptions for 145 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is the first Seahawks receivers with three touchdown receptions in a game since former WR Joey Galloway did it in 1997 against the Oakland Raiders.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Baldwin got away for a long score to salt the game away and found openings in the red zone earlier in the game to help the Seahawks keep up with Ben Roethlisberger. He's the closest thing this offense has to a #1 receiver, and his value should be up with Jimmy Graham likely out for the season.

MIA - QB Ryan Tannehill throws for 351 yards

    Source: The Associated Press

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill completed 33 of 58 passes for 351 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in a 38-20 loss to the New York Jets in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A majority of Tannehill's production game when the game was out of hand. He has a great matchup against Baltimore next week, but he is still a risky play with the Ravens unlikely to make it a high-scoring game.

MIA - WR Jarvis Landry busy in Week 12

Source: The Arizona Republic - Tyler Killian

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry finished with 13 catches on 16 targets for 165 yards and a touchdown in a 38-20 loss to New York Jets in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Landry piled up stats in garbage time, but was also the most effective Dolphins receiver before they fell behind by a large margin. He should be a strong play against the Ravens next week.

NYJ - WR Brandon Marshall scores twice

    Source: The Associated Press

New York Jets WR Brandon Marshall had nine catches for 131 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-20 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The extra rest after the Thursday game did Marshall well as he easily defeated the Miami corners. He'll be a strong play against the Giants next week.

NYJ - QB Ryan Fitzpatrick tosses four scores

    Source: The Associated Press

New York Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 22 of 37 passes for 277 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-20 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fitzpatrick took advantage of excellent plays by his receivers, both young and old (by NFL standards. He's a good streamer next week against the Giants.

STL - RB Todd Gurley held firm by CIN defense

Source: The Associated Press - Joe Kay

St. Louis Rams RB Todd Gurley had just 19 yards rushing in a 31-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 29.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

At some point the lack of competence in the Rams offense can keep even a runner as good as Gurley down. That point was today. You still have to start Gurley against Arizona next week, but now you know how low his floor is.

CIN - WR A.J. Green scores two TDs

Source: The Associated Press - Joe Kay

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green caught six passes for 61 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 31-7 win over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, Nov. 29.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green got wide open in the end zone early to key his best day in a long time. His owners should have a lot of confidence in him heading into Cleveland next week.

KC - WR Jeremy Maclin posts 160 yards

Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin caught nine passes for 160 yards and one touchdown in the team's Week 12 game against the Buffalo Bills.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Maclin had his best game of the year as the Bills vaunted corners couldn't contain him.

CIN - QB Andy Dalton throws three TDs

Source: The Associated Press - Joe Kay

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton tossed three touchdown passes and was 20 of 27 for 233 yards Sunday, Nov. 29, in a 31-7 win over the St. Louis Rams.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dalton had another very efficient game against a defense that hadn't seen him lately. He's a strong QB1 play at Cleveland next week.

IND - WR Donte Moncrief has 100-yard game

Source: The Associated Press - Michael Marot

Indianapolis Colts WR Donte Moncrief caught eight passes for 114 yards but did not score in a 25-12 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Nov. 29.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Moncrief played a huge role in the offense, as the Colts are starting move away from Andre Johnson as trust and chemistry between Moncrief and Matt Hasselbeck continues to build. Next week against Pittsburgh he's an upside WR3/Flex play.

BUF - WR Sammy Watkins has terrific outing

    Source: The Associated Press

Buffalo Bills WR Sammy Watkins caught six passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns in the team's Week 12 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Chiefs couldn't handle Watkins and Tyrod Taylor was dropping dimes when Watkins flashed open. The floor is low and the Texans defense is hot, but it will still be hard to bench Watkins next week.

MIN - RB Adrian Peterson scores twice

    Source: The Associated Press

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries in the team's Week 12 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Peterson is defying his age and defying the notion that running backs wear down with more work. For the second straight week, he finished off an opponent with a long touchdown run late. The Seahawks won't roll over as easily next week.

IND - QB Matt Hasselbeck posts another good game

Source: The Associated Press - Michael Marot

Indianapolis Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns as the Colts defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 25-12, on Sunday, Nov. 29.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hasselbeck was a technician, working the short and intermediate routes and mixing in more downfield passing as he riffed with T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief better than he has at any point earlier this year. Indianapolis gets the Steelers defense next week while the reeling Falcons will get to take advantage of the good matchups against the Bucs.

Hasselbeck is 4-0 for the Colts, only Newton has more wins that's unbeaten.
