Patriots in Denver will the easiest cover of 2015 if Manning is out

The Broncos only chance at covering and possibly winning is if the running game is working early. I think the Broncos will be out of the game early and forced to play catch up with Ozweiler. Even if Ozweiler plays well I don't see anyway the keep up with Brady. The Broncos defense right now are not the same team without Demarcus Ware, their pass rush has been non existent. Luck, Smith, Cutler all had plenty of time to throw in those game, if Cutler had any receivers the Bears win.

Brady is going to carve this team up, it's going to be ugly early.

    I respect your opinion.
    But I disagree.

If Manning is out and the line is over 8, I would say that the Pats won't cover. If the line is 6 or less, I believe that NE could lose SU. Why? Because the Pats have many injuries that will show up in a road game. If you don't think so, consider the game at NY with the Giants. Denver is better on defense and at home they are even better.

NE has not played one team on the road with a winning record. When they get to Denver next week, I believe they are in for a possible loss with or without Manning.
It really comes down to what team is more healthy and Manning should play, but if not - don't count Denver out, in my opinion.

My Line if manning plays. NE -1.5.

My Line if Manning is out. NE -5.5 or 6

My guess is that Brady has never beat both Mannings in the same season?

It won't happen this season either if Payton plays.

Broncos are better off if Manning doesn't play. He is old and hurt. Also I don't think he is worth 5 points. Any linesmakers here

    I totally disagree OP.

Denver has been winning games handily with their terrifying defense. Based on your profile pic it looks like you're a fan. I can tell you from the outside looking in that Denver's defense is still the best in the league. Right now, Denver is the only team that hasn't given up 2000 passing yards on the season. They're allowing less than 200 yards per game on average (again, the only team with that distinction). Hell, they're one of the handful of teams left that haven't given up 1000 rushing yards total. I think you're completely overreacting.

Peyton is a legend but he's been sub-par this year to put it very kindly. Osweiler proved over the last couple weeks that he can be effective at the NFL level. Yesterday he completed 74% of his passes, threw 2 TD's and 0 INT's, and even amassed 250 passing yards.

In this particular instance, the move from Peyton Manning to Brock Osweiler is an upgrade. Denver is going to be even better with Brock Osweiler at QB.

Patriots only -3.5, this should be easy. The Broncos defense can only contain Brady for so long. Ozweiler did not look good against the Bears, and his stats are deceiving. I watched that entire game, he gets rattle with any hint of a blitz and don't even try to throw. His first instinct is to run if his first read is not their. Bellichick will do all they thing Fox didn't do better.

I can't even take the OP seriously... so many things wrong with what he said.

RubberKettle hit it on the head... a Bronco fan just trying to jinx the Pats. Nothing to see here.

OP is an idiot. That was established years ago.

As for the game this is a coin flip so lean to Denver with the points.

Yeah, he beat Danny Kanell back in 2003 and Tebow back in 2009. While losing to Jake Plummer in the 2006 AFC Divisional, Kyle Orton in 2007, and Peyton Manning 2013 AFC Championship game.

    Brock > Peyton

    Broncos + the points easy

Brady has no WR's or RB's left and that Broncos Defense is going to hammer Brady to the turf

I'm a Denver fan too and disagree, though understand your thinking. Denver's defense can win the game. I watched the Buffalo/NE game last night. Buffalo's miscues on defense lost them the game. NE's defense made it tough on Taylor, but Buffalo got some pressure on Brady (minus the miscues). NE has significant injuries to their offensive line. Brady could have a rough night at Denver. Home game for Denver helps, plus they really need the win. KC's playing really well now, and they need to keep on top in the division.

The Pats were never in danger of losing to Buffalo and their defense tightened up when it counted. This game will be similar; Pats -3 all day long.
