    John gruden last night annoying

I know he's an ex nfl coach and thinks he's all that. during Mon night game he was all over the place with things he said. he's no different then any other color guy who picks things apart over and over. he basically thought the Colts were gonna win in ot and that was that. the Colts were able to get back in the game cause the carolina D got very tired and gave luck alot of time to throw ball. gruden annoying

He's always been this way. His playoff predictions are hilarious. He picks around 25 teams to make them

He's always annoying. Very smart & high football IQ but at the same time a drooling fan boy and everyone he sees is the greatest ever.

I've got a feeling Detroit would trade straight up right now for him.

not true coach...he had several offers last year from multiple teams that expressed interest but he decided to stay with MNF...I know my Skins wanted him and I wish to hell we would have gotten him instead of his brother but the main reason why didn't get him or Bill Cowher, because both of those great coaches didn't want anything to do with RG3...unfortunately, this was Snyder interfering again and not doing what was right for the team.

He can get a job right now no problem, dumb remark by jj,he probably makes more money doing what he's doing, and besides who would want to coach these clowns today they are uncoachable.this is why he never came back.

Gruden is very spicy with his hype chatter... He's surely not a John Madden type behind the mic but I think he tries to be...

John can turn a guy that just got burned for 4 straight touchdowns into the best CB in nfl history if he make one play later on in the game. He loves how every player on every team plays the game at all times, even if they are aweful.

Not going to be a Gruden hater. Look at Gruden's first season... compared to now. Hell of a commentator.

All this football coaching knowledge... not outweighing the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ESPN/ABC is giving him.

    Brilliant actually.

Football on American TV is unwatchable now.

Way more commercials than there used to be.
Too many replays and flashy icons.
They wear me out and I lose interest in the game
other than the score if I bet on it.

Used to be relaxed, chill and listen to the commentators, watch the crowd,
get a feel for the game.
    No more.
Not Gruden's fault or any of the others faults, it's the networks and the league's fault.
Pat Somerall and John Madden wouldn't even bother today.
    It sucks donkey balls.
    I find myself watching PBS.

Gruden is the highest paid talent on ESPN @~6.5 mil a year

If I were Gruden, I'd pay at least 1% of that to pound Jaymee Sire six ways to Sunday

And yes, daner... I'd bring along some Honey Mustard for her darkside

Exactly what I was thinking......1st year, he bearly spoke a word and really was terrible. He's alot better now, just trying to fill the airtime with words, any words. He has a ways to go, but he is getting better.

Regarding the money, I believe being an NFL head coach would pay better than bring a broadcaster (I question the $6.5M a year)......but his current job has less pressure, less hours, less aggrevation- lots of less. He's well off by now and only has to work 6 months a years. A head coach is a full time, 365 day job.

well, i don't bother with fantasy. that was just a one month relationship.
got tired of her. had one last tournament last night I finished in the upper 5% of entries
but did not win. the novelty wore off.

watching NFL I just don't enjoy nearly as much as I used to, that is why, but of course
I do have to watch enough to visualize for betting reasons. Like work. Still doesn't mean
I don't flip the channel - what - 50+ times per game. which is sad.

That's what a DVR is for..

Let the game record for an hour, go take a dump, bang your GF in mean time, or cook and eat dinner or something.. Then come back and start the game, have the finger on the FF button on your remote when the commercials and replay crap happens.. By the time the game is late in the forth quarter you should be caught up to real time..

You're kidding right? The guy could get any job he wants. He doesn't want to coach and I can't blame him. But it's come out a lot that teams have sought after him and he's turned them down.
