The average NFL team wins 14% more of their games at home than they do on the road. This is a statistical fact that you can check, like I just did, at the NFL website.
Now let's look at how the Pats perform at home vs on the road. Since 2009, when Brady returned from his injury, the Pats have gone 50-7 in all home games (including the postseason, but not the preseason). That's a win rate of 88%. In their road games over the same period and same criteria (including superbowls which are neutral site) the Pats have gone 30-21, which is a 59% win rate. So the difference in win rate for the Pats between road and home games is a staggering 29% versus the league average of 14%. And this makes sense for a team that would cheat. At home, they control the security to the visitors locker rooms, and the conditions in the stadium. I.e., while the NFL may control the headset equipment and service provider, the Pats control the frequencies in the stadium that are used by that equipment. I could easily jam any signal at my house with a simple Radio Shack white-out box for $35.
And before you call me a conspiracy theorist..... I remind you of this:
