Tebow is simply not a QB period. You can go out on a limb and say he's better than many backups I suppose. I can give you that but they suck as well. Difference is Tebows skill set and style are so unique and not made for Nfl really you have to completely change your offensive schemes and playcalling to accommodate him. Just more headache than he's worth for a backup I suppose is most coaches reasoning aside from lack of ability throwing/reading defenses.

Obvious who's right already think about it. Not buying the theory he's blackballed because of religion that's crap. Bottom line Nfl has a severe shortage of great Qb's and guys who can lead, play the position at high level and win. Finding that guy saves coaches jobs, draw better attendance , ratings, revenue , get more talk on sports shows etc. Those are the only things coaches, owners crave most. And if he "truly had it" someone would scoop him up in a heartbeat guaranteed.

Tebow actually had a pretty solid camp. Played real well last game. Pretty shocked he got cut considering they had traded Barkley.

I'm skeptical. I'm sure Jesus doesn't enjoy the Tebow-pose. Jesus condemned the pharisees for public prayer.

This is the big reason. He's too unconventional for the NFL. His timing on throws are so much different than a traditional QB that it throws your receivers and OLine off as well. He's too wild and unpredictable. It throws everyone off on both sides of the ball. I think he is a natural winner and is better than most NFL backups but a coach has no time to train his team on Tebow's mechanics for a backup.

Why does it have to be like that? Not a bible thumper myself but think he's a great man and would be awesome leader/character guy on any team. Just don't think he's very good and got way to much praise a few years ago benefitting from very lucky circumstances more than anything. If the media were all over some other scrubs nuts like Ponder (for ex) and create a sideshow it would get real old quick as well. Great dude /bad qb but if he could play like Steve Young and be a great THROWING qb which is your job not all this running and option b.s. I would definitely want him on my team.

He gets too much attention in locker room

He has strange star power unlike we have ever seen for an average player

That's why many just sick of him JJ I believe. Myself I don't hate the guy and wish him nothing but good things. But when your signing with a team as a backup and theirs a press conference held for a backup who was terrible on field 90% of his playing time year prior. There's a huge problem with that! And Tebow could have deflected much of it by not going there but he allowed that Bron James moment to happen he could have said no to the circus.

Tebow almost has a supernatural aura of honesty and integrity, a born winner who overcomes despite personal limitations and obstacles. Guy like him never lose in life.

All NFL insiders know he is not an NFL back up level quarterback but you can't deny his spirit and leadership abilities. Even his teammates at Denver, who realized they were winning because of defense and in spite of Tebow starting, still respected Tebow as a man.

I wish that a head coach would have the guts to run a primary wildcat, ball control, offense. Get some quarterbacks like Tebow, that can run the ball. Part of the reason Tebow did so well in crunch time was because they normally went "no huddle" at that point. Tebow is great on the fly, when he doesn't have 45 seconds to think about things. It could prove all the Tebow haters wrong.
