    Never got fired. GameDay final team and format was changed. Tessitore and Galloway in, rece davis, Mark may and lou Holtz out. Holtz sent packing. Those who thought nay got fired, thought wrong.     Mark May, Lou Holtz and Receive Davis were 100 times more entertaining than Galloway and Danny Canell. I hate this new crew and don't even watch it. Holtz was a known Notre Dame homer and May an OSU basher which made for great tv. It was a shtick but funny.

    I agree this new group is unwatchable and quite frankly, painful. May and the coach were getting a bit tired but there is something to be said for familiarity.....

    Agree. Tessitore, while professional, sounds forced. Galloway brings nothing to the table. Rece Davis was the perfect host for that group, will do well taking over for Fowler on Gameday.
