It's amazing how many people hate on the Patriots. I am not a fan of theirs but deflated football or not the Patriots smacked the colts around. Get over it. Tom Brady and Belichick are just that good!

It was the ball boys with those little needles... With the balls lighter Blount ran faster... So Indy could not tackle him

It was only a 10 point game at half time, so who knows how much a factor it might had. Brady might had gone three and out, coming from the half with a fully inflated ball in the rain.

The Pats are certainly more prone to the passing game than Indy
You have got to be kidding. All Indy does is throw the ball. Meanwhile, the Patriots gameplan against Indy was to do the same thing that they have done to destroy them 3 times prior: run the ball down the throat of the worst run defense in the league.

Gee, I'm sure that has nothing to do with the fact that the Patriots wan 24 more plays than the Colts.

Heaven forbid we let facts get in the way, but NE ran 24 more plays but only 2 more passes.

"I like to push the limit to how much air we can put in the football, even go over what they allow you to do and see if the officials take air out of it." - Aaron Rodgers (as relayed by Phil Simms)

Guess it is not a national story when the Packers do it.

Did those balls have anything to do with Blount having 150 yards and 3 TD's?

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The NFL is investigating whether the New England Patriots improperly deflated footballs in Sunday’s AFC championship game, a league spokesman confirmed.

The spokesman, Michael Signora, confirmed that the league is looking into the matter but declined further comment.

The investigation was first reported by WTHR-TV in Indianapolis, which added that the Patriots potentially could have draft choices taken from them if the allegations of deflated footballs are proven true.

The Patriots won the game, 45-7.

NFL rules dictate that the home team provide footballs of a certain weight for the game. WTHR reported that the officials took a football out of play at one point during Sunday’s game and weighed it.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stripped the Patriots of a first-round draft choice and fined Coach Bill Belichick and the team a total of $750,000 in 2007 in the “Spygate” scandal. The Patriots were found to have improperly videotaped opponents’ coaching signals in violation of league rules.

The Patriots are scheduled to play the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 1 in Arizona in the Super Bowl.

The ball didn't look deflated when it bounced off of Cribbs' face in the 1st quarter.

The score is irrelevant. We know the refs took a ball at half time to measure for air missing. The seriousness of the offense is that NFL refs checked the balls before kick off and they passed so if the Patriots deflated the balls during the game they should be punished by the NFL.

What about Aaron Rodgers, who admits he deliberately overinflates the balls?

Should he be punished too or does your sanctimony end at New England?

Pats would have still won but it's really sad that they have to keep resorting to these cheating tactics every chance they get

Who even knows what else has gone on in Patsie Land over the years....too much smoke with them

Wish that jerkoff Goodell didn't destroy all the spygate tapes

A good team with an all time QB that never had to resort to these garbage tactics.....Belichick a HOF coach and the GOAT of scumbags!
