Green Bay RB Eddie Lacy Total Rushes Over 16.5 @ +116 Lacy seems like a workhorse even though his numbers don't back that. He had 19 carries against Dallas though and has topped this number in each of GB's last three games and five of their last seven overall. Seattle is obviously very tough on the run, but that doesn't mean you don't give your main back the rock again and again. One would think GB wants to again protect Rodgers' calf and that could mean a healthy dose of Lacy. Even though Lacy was on the injury report with a sore knee, it seems to not be a big deal.
The big thing here obviously is for the Packers to start quick and not find themselves in a hole where running becomes an afterthought. With the Rodgers injury, they seem to be more apt to run more + Seattle's secondary will make lie tough for the Packers if Rodgers cannot extend plays due to the calf. I think if this game stays within a TD or so the whole way, Lacy should see plenty of carries to get this done.
Great set-up so far for this one. Lacy getting fed again and again and GB in position to mount a bigger lead to keep the run a good part of their game plan.
