how can their be a bitcoin bowl?

I thought bitcoin wasn't owned by anyone, so who is sponsoring the event?

also, I would never have imagined the US government would allow for bitcoin to be promoted locally, especially through sports, isnt the government against bitcoin because it facilitates black market transactions?

If bitcoins were illegal would the US Marshals Service auction them off ?

    http://www.usmarshals.gov/assets/2014/dpr-bitcoins/

That ^ is the 3rd time

Using bitcoins for illegal activity is of course illegal just as using cash dollars to buy street dope is too

Not sure of the particulars but thinking it is regulations. Like when US Marshals Service auctions drug dealers boats & cars
