DET is limping at the moment esp. offensively. Their defense is the sole reason some of their games have been remotely close. Look at AZ game. If their defense hadn't gotten a few big stops and interceptions/blocks that game would've gotten ugly too. That was with a green QB.
NE on the other hand is firing on all cylinders and seem to be one of, if not, the best team in the league right now. Everyone thought the cold was going to be a factor in the DEN. game and Brady shredded them. Brady is hungry for another ring, his team is playing good football at the moment. He knows he has a shot, he can smell it. They are a force to be reckoned with.

NE will be prepared for the Lions defense and NE defense will shut down Detroit's run game forcing Stafford to throw. Their CB and Saf. play tight man coverage and they will shut down Megatron and Tate just like they shut down Manning's receiving core.
DET. is not good on the road and NE will be prepared and waiting. This line is right IMO. I'm not saying bet the house, but it wouldn't surprise me if NE won my double digits.

I am confident they will win

and I think they should cover

but not enough to actually bet them ATS

Though I do like the D, specifically their line, lets be honest here for a minute. They could easily be 4-6 right now as they won 3 games in the last minute of the game. Don't see them keeping this close

I'd like to know Detroit's outdoor record when temp is 35 degrees and/or lower? I think New England dismantles them.

Check the Lions record vs Packers and Bears on the road. If I remember on the top of my head they won 1 time in GB and 2 times in Chicago the last 20 years.

My 2 cents. NE has been pumped for weeks. This is non conference and between Indy and GB. Just feels like a possible letdown to me.

Why would you want to know their record in sub-35 degree weather when the weather report is calling for 48 degrees on Sunday

I agree the Patriots are due for a let down plus they might be looking ahead to GB. They are in that perfect position where they've won a couple high profile, nationally televised games and thus get overrated by the gambling public.

However, having said that, I can't bring myself to take a dome team in Foxboro in late November. IMHO the smart play is to pass.

They will put Revis on Megatron and blitz Stafford and the defense will be scoring points.

Stafford can't beat good teams especially on the road, this will be a boatrace.

How many different guys are going to say Stafford can't beat good teams? We get it. Lions have no shot.

They might as well not even suit up.

I think everyone knows what's at stake and how big these wins are...no one's thinking of GB..we're onto Detroit..some teams do fall victim to looking ahead but the Pats are playing with a major chip on their shoulders and plenty of guys eager to back it up

If patriots win out they don't have to go to Denver in playoffs. They are not looking ahead.

    Can't make this shit up.
At +7.5 which we will see, sharps will be on Detroit..fact. Now for me, I am not betting Stafford and or Detroit on the road ever in my lifetime or the lifetime after that...it's that simple.

At first I liked the Lions now I'm not so sure. Bellicheck is known for taking away your biggest weapon right?

0% chance Revis can guard Johnson 1 on 1. And Bellicheck knows that. Maybe he uses someone else and doubles him with a safety, lets Revis check Tate 1 on 1. Then where is stafford gonna go?

I'm not worried about the Lions defense, I'm worried about the position the Lions offense will put their defense in. 3 tds will win this game.

Dont see what people see in Detroit really, I see Brady torching that secondary which has to be their weakest area.
