seems like the lists of good quarterbacks and quarterbacks who suck change with the wind around here

the guy is definitely one of the best quarterbacks in the league, an off game or an off season doesnt make him a bad quarterback

he has been in the league for 3 years and has already achieved more than most qbs achieve in their whole careers

its not a mystery you guys are not coaching sports, if coaches were like you, names like michael jordan, dan marino, tom brady would be unknown to us cause you'd send them packing after the first missed layup or pass

    from wikipedia

Dalton and Green broke NFL records for completions and yards for a rookie quarterback/receiver combination, even without the benefit of an offseason.[4]

Dalton is just one of three quarterbacks in NFL history to have thrown for over 3000 yards in each of his first three seasons, joining Cam Newton and Peyton Manning, and just one of three to have passed for at least 20 touchdowns in each of his first three seasons, joining Manning and Dan Marino. Dalton is the only quarterback to lead the Cincinnati Bengals to three consecutive playoff berths, and just one of five quarterbacks to lead his team to the playoffs in each of his first three seasons. He is also the Bengals franchise record holder for passing yards and touchdowns in a season.[5]

    its all about perspective

you can manipulate the facts to suit your opinion

basically andy dalton is the new payton manning, he is putting up payton manning numbers in the regular season and chocking everything away in the post season

yet most of you that are shitting on him would rush to anoint peyton as the goat, just proof that the same argument can be used to prove or refute a point

everything is just a thought fellas, so stop crapping on people that have no effect in your life and just sit back and enjoy the game

unless ofcoarse the only reason you are so quick to judge him is that your bet is losing

Huge underperformance by Cincinnati tonight. Dalton completing around 30%. Unreal they only put up 3 points. Game should have gone over for sure.

Dalton had 3 INT's tonight which was 1 point higher than his QB rating... Yes, his QB rating was 2.

??? If anything, Luck is the new Peyton. Luck puts up way better stats than Dalton and has thrown for over 3,000yrds his first 3 years also.

Dalton's numbers might be "payton manning numbers", but I'm not sure who that is.

If you mean Peyton Manning, Dalton's numbers do not compare.

This is his 4th season in the league. 9 games, 8 TDs, 6 INTs.

Mark Sanchez and Andy Dalton are each 27 years old.

Sanchez has won four playoff games (all on the road).

Dalton has won zero playoff games.

This. Like Romo, Dalton may have stats that look good on paper but these do not equate to "success" in this setting, only wins in the games that matter do. Dalton's stats on paper do not equate to winning bets for us either. Unless we are fading him in big games. A strategy which (somehow) would have failed vs. BALT in their most recent matchup but would have worked stunningly tonight. Which WAS a big game, Divisional matchup within a tightly packed Div. might be the loss that keeps them out of the postseason this year where he'd have failed again anyways costing us (yet another) excellent fade opportunity.

Not just an "off game", his performance was horrible. In yet another big game.
