Good news for the Texans here. Foster didn't need additional medical tests and simply needs to rest.

PHI - QB Nick Foles has cracked collarbone
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles (clavicle) underwent an MRI Monday, Nov. 3, and has been diagnosed with a cracked clavicle, according to head coach Chip Kelly.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Aaron Rodgers had a similar injury to his non-throwing arm (like Foles) and missed seven weeks. There's no timetable for Foles' return, but it is likely going to be some time before we see him under center for the Eagles.

CIN - RB Giovani Bernard likely out Week 10
Source: The Cincinnati Enquirer - Paul Dehner Jr.
Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard (hip) is unlikely to play in Week 10 Thursday, Nov. 6, in the opinion of beat writer Paul Dehner Jr.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We're not shocked by this...if it actually ends up being the case. The Bengals are on a short week as they play on Thursday night against the Browns. With the performance of rookie RB Jeremy Hill (over 150 yards rushing) in Week 9, there's no need to rush Bernard back.

DAL - QB Tony Romo expected to play in Week 10
Source: NFL Network - Desmond Purnell
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) is expected to play in Week 10, according to owner Jerry Jones. 'I do see him playing,' Jones told NFL Network's Desmond Purnell. 'He's going on the trip to London, and logic tells you that we wouldn't have him make that trip to London and back if we didn't think he was going to play, so it does depend on the type of week he has at practice. But if he has the week we expect, he should be our quarterback.'
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We'll see Romo limited if he participates in practice this week. The Cowboys need to get back on the winning track, and a game against the Jaguars in London is just what the doctor ordered.

CIN - RB Giovani Bernard's job safe
Source: ESPN.com - Coley Harvey
Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard (hip) has zero chance of losing his starting job after RB Jeremy Hill's big game in Week 9, according to beat writer Coley Harvey.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Nobody expects Hill to take Bernard's job....the rookie is simply not as good as Bernard is. However, Hill is very talented, running with a blend of power and speed, so he could carve out a larger change-of-pace role when Bernard returns.

PHI - QB Nick Foles will not need surgery
Source: FOXSports.com - Mike Garafolo
Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles (clavicle) will not need to undergo surgery on his fractured clavicle, according to a source.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Good news for Foles here. The team hopes Foles will be able to return in around six weeks. In the meantime, we'll see Mark Sanchez as the starter for the Eagles.

MIN - RB Adrian Peterson may miss additional time
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is not expected to be reinstated immediately by the NFL if he reaches a plea agreement in his child abuse case.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
He may not be reinstated immediately, but Peterson could return to the Vikings later in the year. We could see Peterson return around some time in the fantasy playoffs. The time is now for fantasy owners to add Peterson as a 'wait and see' addition in 12-team (or more) leagues.

TB - Charles Sims likely to play
Source: 620 WDAE Tampa - Tom Krasniqi
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Charles Sims is likely to play in Week 10, according to general manager Jason Licht.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Alright, we'll be waiting to see what the rookie can do then. Sims has a skill set like a poor man's version of Matt Forte. He's a good all-purpose back with the ability to produce as a runner and receiver out of the backfield. Splitting time with Bobby Rainey, we'd like to see Sims in action before rushing to add him to our lineup as a 'what the heck' flex.

PHI - Chip Kelly confident in QB Mark Sanchez
Source: NFL.com - Gregg Rosenthal
Philadelphia Eagles QB Mark Sanchez has all of the tools the team is looking for in a quarterback, according to head coach Chip Kelly. 'He obviously has a big-time arm, he's got an NFL arm, he's got NFL feet, he's really, really smart, he's sharp, great work ethic, very athletic. He had all the things we're looking for in a quarterback,' Kelly said. 'He's a hell of a quarterback and we're excited that we got him.'
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Sanchez played with a lot of emotion in Week 9 after he replaced an injured Nick Foles. We'll see what he does with a full week of preparation as a starter.

HOU - Changes coming for Texans?
Source: Houston Chronicle - Brian T. Smith
Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said he will evaluate the entire offense during the team's bye in Week 10, including at the quarterback position. However, O'Brien didn't come close to benching QB Ryan Fitzpatrick in the team's Week 9 loss, and he didn't single him out when discussing possible changes for Week 11. “I think we have to evaluate everything,” said O’Brien, when asked if he’ll make a QB change. “I don’t think you can always -- and I’ve said this along -- I don’t think you can look at one position and put all the blame on that.'
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Ryan Mallett was added with the idea that he could eventually get a starting nod. He's been a developmental prospect for years behind Tom Brady. Now, we could finally see him under center as a starter in the NFL. Mallett has a rocket arm, but he has little accuracy as a passer.

TB - Bucs not naming starting QB yet
Source: The Tampa Tribune - Roy Cummings
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QBs Mike Glennon and Josh McCown are options to start in Week 10, but head coach Lovie Smith said he will not decide on the starter until later it the week.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
McCown struggled as the starter earlier this year, and while Glennon hasn't been lighting the league on fire, we like him as a better option. Smith said there are a lot of factors he needs to consider before naming the starter.

CLE - Isaiah Crowell not being punished
Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot
Cleveland Browns RB Isaiah Crowell did not play a single snap in Week 9, but it was not for disciplinary reasons, according to head coach Mike Pettine. Pettine said Crowell is in good standing with the team.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Okay, well he should be getting some carries then. Crowell runs with a nice blend of power and speed. He should be worked in behind Ben Tate with fellow rookie Terrance West.

HOU - WR Andre Johnson sounds discouraged
Source: Houston Chronicle - Brian T. Smith
Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson was very passive when he asked if he was used as a decoy in the team's Week 9 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Johnson was disengaged when he was asked to respond to Eagles CB Cary Williams' comments that Johnson doesn't appear to be the same receiver of the past. “I’m trying to help the team win,” Johnson said. “But I only can do what I can do. I can’t control everything. I only can control what I can. That’s it. I can’t block. I can’t cover guys. I can’t throw the ball. All I can do is run routes and try to get open and catch the ball.”
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Johnson was unhappy with the direction of the offense earlier this year, and those feeling may have never subsided. We've seen DeAndre Hopkins take over as the top receiver for the Texans over the last few weeks. We'll see if Johnson can return to his old self.

WAS - TE Logan Paulsen dealing with injury
Source: NFL.com
Washington Redskins TE Logan Paulsen (foot) is dealing with plantar fasciitis but has not been ruled out for the team's Week 11 game. The Redskins have a Week 10 bye.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Plantar fasciitis takes some time to get over. Paulsen wasn't much of a fantasy factor anyway.

DEN - WR Wes Welker has back bruise
Source: The Denver Post - Troy E. Renck
Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker (back) suffered a back bruise in Sunday's contest against the New England Patriots. The timetable for his return was undisclosed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Welker is not the same player he used to be. He was concussed in the preseason game against the Houston Texans, then Welker missed time at the beginning of the year due to a suspension. Now, we could see the Broncos start to change things up offensively. Rookie Cody Latimer has been active more in recent weeks, and the team might start to see what the kid can do if Welker is down.

HOU - Houston to make QB change?
Source: Houston Chronicle - Brian T. Smith
Houston Texans QB Ryan Fitzpatrick could still be benched for backup QB Ryan Mallett, according to head coach Bill O'Brien.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This was only a matter of time. Dynasty owners have been waiting to see what Mallett can do with a starting job. We may get an answer in the near future.

CLE - QB Brian Hoyer praised by OL
Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot
Cleveland Browns QB Brian Hoyer has shown a lot of confidence this year, according to offensive lineman Joe Thomas. Thomas also said that Hoyer doesn't get overwhelmed and he doesn't expect that to change this week against the Cincinnati Bengals.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hoyer has held onto the starting job a lot longer than some anticipated. So long as the Browns keep winning, the chants to start Johnny Manziel aren't going to be that loud.

SF - RB Marcus Lattimore weighing options
Source: NFL.com
Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers RB Marcus Lattimore (knee) is still weighing his options and will talk with his family before making a decision on his future, according to head coach Jim Harbaugh.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We would hate to see Lattimore retire before his career even starts. He's so natural gifted, but Lattimore is trying to come back from two devastating knee injuries he suffered in college at South Carolina. Other backs have missed their rookie seasons (Ricky Watters, Willis McGahee) and have been fine. It looks like Lattimore's story will always read 'what might have been.'

SD - RB Ryan Mathews likely to regain role
Source: The San Diego Union-Tribune - Matt Calkins
San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (knee) is all but assured to regain his role as the featured back when he returns. RB Branden Oliver has rushed 32 times for 49 yards in the last two games.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Branden Oliver has been struggling over the last couple of weeks, so Mathews should return as the starter. Oliver will then be a change-of-pace back like Danny Woodhead was for the offense. We'll see if the Chargers can get their problems fixed during their Week 10 bye.
