Been doin it since cincy lol

I am a Jets fan... When I heard his interview yesterday it reminding me of Rich Kotite interviews where he would say "We had a great week of practice" Rex was basically making it obvious he is done... "You don't get the character of our guys if you think winning is all we care about" WTF REX???

They now also have something else in common. Besides sounding like each other they both have 8 game losing streaks with the Jets.

Rex and DipSht, the GM, have set this franchise back at least 5 years. They are bone thin in talent and Rex is incapable of running an NFL offense. Worse than Kotite.

Yeah, they both have the same amount of Nobel Peace Prize's too. Since Rex came to the Jets, his record is 43-46, with 4 playoff games. Belichek's record is 68-21 with 9 playoff game appearances. That's 25 extra wins in just over 5 years. Kiss those 3 rings, Rex, ya blowhard!

Rex Ryan and the whole Ryan family don't hide their feelings, and call it like they see it. Can't fault a guy for that. If there were more people like that, this world would be a better place.

Uh why should he kiss any rings? Belichick hasn't won a single Super Bowl since Rex became a head coach and the Super Bowls he did win are tainted, as the nfl acknowledged when they destroyed the tapes.

Some guys are just more suited to be a DC or OC rather than a head coach. He seems like one of those guys.

Hard to fault Rex. That team has no players. Should of kept Sanchez and never drafted Smith. The only thing that get's coaches fired faster than bad GM's is bad kickers.

Just don't forget that Rex is 1-0 vs. Belichick in postseason play. The Pats were 14-2 and thinking Superbowl, but the Jets stopped them cold.

Only in NY would that be bearing for determining that Rex had a successful run with the jets. So they made the playoffs 2 of the 6 years and had a win vs NE that led to them being wiped out in the next round..I'm pretty sure even Woody Johnson can look at the outputs from each team over the past 6 years and identify that NE has been what he wished the Jets could be a fraction of

    Clown - it's very simple.

The Jets were never the best team in football under Rex.

But one year the Patriots were, finishing 14-2 regular season (demolished the Jets during regular season, too) and faced the Jets at home for a playoff game.

It was the only Rex vs. Belichick game that had league-wide ramifications and the Jets upset the Pats. Deal with it.

(Kind of reminds me of that time the Pats went 16-0 and lost the Superbowl... also to a NY team.

And then that time they lost to the Giants again in the Superbowl.

Just imagine how many rings Bill would have to kiss if only he didn't get caught video taping opposing teams!)

I don't think any dude considering in the SB you have 2 weeks to look at 4 months+ of film..what's your point?

I think if you ask Rex he would trade the lone playoff win for the sustained success belichik has had since 2001.
Going 16-0 after Spygate such as you mentioned pretty much mitigates spy gate althogether

Interesting. Maybe you should start a new thread about that.

But in the meantime just remember that the two coaches faced off once for all the marbles and Rex won. And it's a point quite pertinent to this thread.
