    It Looks Like RG3 is Starting for Redskins vs. Vikings This Week

    He practiced fully for the first time since breaking his ankle Wednesday and this was reported afterwards:


    NBC Washington's Dianna Marie Russini reports Robert Griffin III (ankle) will start Week 9 against the Vikings.

    Russini has had some good info nuggets and been first on all-things Redskins multiple times this season. RGIII practiced in full on Wednesday, with multiple teammates saying he looked like his old self. But coach Jay Gruden has continued to say they won't rush RGIII back until he's 100 percent healthy and ready. That time appears to be now. Colt McCoy can ride high on his Monday night win over the Cowboys for the next few months. Gruden should name a starter Thursday or Friday. Signs continue to point to it being RGIII.

    Gruden needs to get a backbone. Colt McCoy gives the Redskins the best chance to win now. Vikings are gone have RG3 running for his life. He was already behind learning the offense. I doubt not playing for 6 weeks helped.

    McCoy should be thankful he even is in league to begin with. Small, fragile, limited arm strength and range. Guy has been a washout everywhere. Will be in broadcast after season.

    washington defense will expose minnesota. rg3 won't even have to do anything. bridewater will just throw the ball to washington and then alfred morris will just run in some 2 yard tds. game will be a blowout prolly.

    I think they should have waited another week on RGIII, but Minnesota should be an easy victory with ole Teddy leading the charge. The rookies have been brutal out of the gates.

    No but really, I think their D can contain Minnesota's offense, which has at times been pretty bad (see last week against Tampa Bay, boasting one of the worst defenses in the league).

    What? Minnesota couldn't move the ball last week against the Bucs... Teddy leading the charge? Bridewater is gonna be on his ass all day. May even get knocked out of the game. Washington has Pro Bowl level players on both sides of the ball, especially their offense. Who's gonna guard Desean Jackson and Garcon on that team? Who's gonna stop alfred morris?
