No one reading this will live long enough to see Record Broken by...

    Another NFL QB

Peyton Manning's NFL TD record that is...

We need to realize the magnitude of what we saw last night

Barring injury he will go out closer to 600 than 500

I'm not so sure Sammy in the pass happy league we have now
Nobody playing now will get close, maybe luck if he was on a more explosive offense

The NFL rules get softer every year, defensive backs can't even breathe on recievers anymore without getting flagged.
Rules are softer for QB's too, they get the special ref treatment too.

Point is, NFL wants more offense, rules get softer, some hot shot HS kid with a cannon for an arm will come along and break it some day.
Right now, Peyton is the Babe Ruth of NFL

NFL rules and the game have changed over the years to make passing easier.

Every time Peyton got embarrassed on the national stage, they enforced the no contact emphasis.

This league has been coddling Manning for years and it's sickening.

Do you people seriously enjoy watching Manning throw 5 yard passes on illegal pick plays? What's exciting about that?

OK, let's talk Eli, and I am a lifelong die hard Gee-Man fan, born into a Gee-Man family, that's been a Gee-Man fan when my grandpappy drank Budweisers in Newark NJ next to the Newark Bud Brewery with the original Mr. Mara when Mr. Mara bought the Gee-Men for 500 damn dollars.

    Eli is a pick machine.
    Eli is not mobile.
You hit Eli, he turns into a wuss.
Surprising to me he has made every start for 10 years in a row, but I give him major props for being an iron man.
His mechanics are not that good, he fumbles way too much.
True he was the QB for two super bowl winning teams, and MVP twice, but he had a brick wall for a front four.
He had Shockey when Shockey was good, He had Plax, when Plax was good.
Strahan's group was the reason for Super Bowl, not so much Eli.

Giants would have been better off with keeping the three draft picks and selecting Philip Rivers.
Rivers is a better QB, I hate myself for saying this, I hate to say it, but Romo is better too.
Rivers would have done or more if he was a Giant, hell, JP Losman could have done what Eli did.

Eli has had one Hall of Fame, Oh My God what a season season.
    One excellent outstanding season.
    2 good seasons.
    3 OK seasons
    4 shitty seasons.

The 4 good or better seasons he has had he had a great o-line and weapons to go to.

He needed help from God wtih the Tyree helmet catch, and a floater to Plax,

Longevity is the key, doubtful other QB's will take as little of a beating that he has. Most good QB's nowadays run the ball a bit and take too many hits, won't be playing full seasons....If Manning is at 510...Can we expect another 25 this year and 30-40 next year. About 570ish after next season, then injuries likely take over. Would be cool to see him hit 600 and still be playing at a high level. I always cringe when I see him get sacked, because every time I expect to see him taken off on stretcher.

brees should have nearly 400 tds by the end of this season and hes just 35. if he plays 7 more seasons and throws 30 td/season he should have 600 tds.

of course it depends on how long peyton continues to play. at 38 i cant fathom him playing longer than 3 more seasons maybe less if he wins another sb.

had peyton not missed that entire season with the neck injury it probably would be out of reach.

Too bad Eli never had a descent running back to play for him or the Giants might've been flirting with a 3rd ring under the Eli era.

With the amount of time RG3 has been having off the field with every injury from head to toe, RG3 is on pace to beat him.

Forbes: Manning is the NFL's top product endorser; earning $12 million annually off the field from companies like Buick, DirecTV, Gatorade and Papa John's. Manning became a Papa John's pizza franchisee in 2012 when he signed a deal to own 25 stores in the Denver area. Manning parted ways with Reebok this year after 12 years together, but added Nationwide to his endorsement portfolio.

I wonder who is 2nd place? Aaron Rodgers? Has to be a white guy...under armor/nike/reebok/fubu probably don't pay as much as the Cell phone and insurance companies do.

I take that back, could be RG3, he's in everything.

Manning will end up with about 650 TD passes and, given that football will be banned within 30 years, no one will break it.
