    Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker (concussion) made another positive step Tuesday, Aug. 26, in his recovery from another concussion, according to head coach John Fox. "He's doing fantastic in the process (of the league's concussion protocol)," Fox said. "We take it one day at a time. But he had another positive day." No decision for Welker's playing status has been made for Week 1.

    Welker sounds like he has a good chance of being ready for Week 1, but he still suffered a concussion with a special helmet meant to minimize them. That he couldn't make it through the preseason without a head injury is definitely worrisome.

    if he keeps playing the way he does (which is the only way he can be useful) he wont last much longer he takes some hard hits
