Field, no doubt. Seattle isn't making it. Not taking SF for even money.

Ahhh....the dreaded injury question always comes up in situations like these. If I had a gun to my head, yes I would take EVEN and both SF/SEA to win the NFC.

Not a chance in hell. Green Bay is winning the NFC this year.

+100 is -EV. Should be closer to +135.

good call... my next response was you can get SEA (+335) and SF (+415) which is way better than even money

Field just due to them being in the same division hurts their chances.

Field for sure at those odds.
Like LT said, the odds should be higher.
I don't think I would take the odds unless they were like +275 or more.

Field and it's not really close.....main reason is they're in the same division so best you get in the playoffs is one of them on the road in wildcard weekend

I know it worked out for them last season but the odds are against it happening again

Funny thing about this.... 2 things...

    1. Jim Harbaugh doesn't get the coaching credit he deserves. Guy just knows how to coach and outsmart the opposition. He has a lot of fire you need as a coach in the NFL. Injuries... turmoil in the SF organization... it's a part of sports. Harbaugh knows what to say to players, media, etc. Still a great ball club.

    2. Go ahead and try to score on the Seattle D. They will be ranked #1 as always. How hungry do they want to play? That remains to be seen. Defense wins game... gains playoff births... and makes history. Regardless of what the offense does... they are always in the game.

What other NFC team can beat them? It would have to be Green Bay. Rodgers would have to shoot whoever he plays.... OUT. How tired is Rodgers at the end of the year? How many games can he win the Packers single handedly?

Wow... you gotta give me SF and SEA +100... I would take it. They will always find a way to win. Rodgers needs a running game and a defense that doesn't screw up.

Current odds on 5dimes to win NFC

    SEA +325
    SF +415

way better than +100 if you bet on both...

You're crazy if you think Seattle makes it back. SB winners just don't and the new enforcement of illegal contact is for them.

Once playoffs start you get perhaps 2 of the best 6 teams with home field advantage. I'll take sea/sf combo, but the odds suck. Just like the Nba, getting Cleveland/Chicago verses field to win the east. Great bets, bad odds on division rivals. Should be at least +300 on both.

These are the two best teams in football. This division is the best I've ever seen. Every single team is loaded top to bottom.

cards and rams are even better than last year. Hawks and 49ers are at least, as good.

I'm telling you, do not buy in to the hype with Rams and Cards. I'll take under 16.5 wins combined all day long. I really can't see either with more than 8 wins. They both seem 7-9 or 8-8 to me, play SEA and SF tough and that's it. BUT... with how the NFL is, it wouldn't totally shock me to see one of these teams have a dream year (Cards had one last year and didn't even make the playoffs). I'm just strongly on the other side of it.

Carson Palmer and Sam Bradford are not good enough to compete against the Defenses of Seattle and San Fran. The difference is Wilson and Kaepernick can make plays on the ground. Palmer and Bradford are not realiable. Wilson is light years ahead of of any other QB in history when it comes to the psychology of the position. He knows the nuances sooo well, and he always knows in the back of his mind he can trust the defense. So you rarely see him make that big mistake. Kaepernick is different, where he seems maybe a tad bit behind mentally, but I still see a huge upside. This guy is freak athletic, he just needs to trust his defense more, and understand it is sometimes for important "not to mess up" here than to make a spectacular throw. I watched Palmer "act like" a franchise QB in Cincy... guy just isn't a big game QB. Tries to do too much, but he probably has the best offensive talent surrounding him. He's just not a big game guy. Bradford cant stay healthy, and he's starting to remind me of David Carr... sorry... very similar so far.

This division is very interesting. I could see SF and SEA both going 10-6 and ARI and STL both going 8-8... but thats about as close as its gonna be imo. Unless ARI or STL has a dream year when everything goes their way.

I'll give you those odds for a points bet. Give me field, you get sf/sea. Even money both ways. If interested I'll start a bet point thread and we can do it in there.

No it ain't. Check your math. +335=22.4%. +414=19.3%. 22.4+19.4=41.7% Much less than even.

Very hard to repeat, and a-lot of team in the NFC have gotten a-lot better. I would take Bears of Eagles Or Arzona even before them.
